It is what I would do.

Oh boy let me guess you are the breton nightblade bow dd with heavy armor that i get on my veteran pledges and you "play how you want". Playing how you want meaning you have 5k dps that is.
Instead of appreciating Deltia and others making an effort into showing people how to get good, you just hate them due to jealousy.

JEALOUSY!!!, LOL
I've been gaming more years than most of you have been alive. I just think it's funny as hell that people can't learn to play on there own and they will donate to these streamers(suckers). People today need there hand held and there ego stroked or they can't handle it.

I'm just here to see if anyone will clarify why "LOL" is 11 words from two pages ago.
It would literally cost less time to check the patch notes than to type this response. It now functions in a 180 degrees fashion in stead of 360 degrees. The rest of the ability remains as is.Peekachu99 wrote: »I like what ZOS is trying to do in shifting to make resources matter. I think that sentiment was shared from players like Deltia and I. I dont think all of these major class changes will hold. Im about 99% confident in that. They want to rock the boat and throw out changes now while they can see how people react and are able to test them. Then they will make a final pass on release and we will have to ride with that. Hopefully the final pass it pretty good and doesnt bury any class.
Theres no other time to test this thing on a wider playerbase. People that can test - test when you are able, and voice your feedback. Dont be painfully biased on things. Try to keep an open mind. Thats the best people can do for now IMO. Well see what lands in the end. Sometimes feedback gets ignored (COST POISONS). We do what we can. Deltia and I both would like to see progressive changes and its in our interests to see that happen.
Thanks. This is the post that should be copy/pasted into every apocalypse thread between now and release. Give the dust time to settle and see what 2nd and then final pass tuning is done.
P.S. Is it my correct understanding that BoL is now an AOE cone heal? I just gave a cursory read to the PTS notes, so I'd have to double-check. Still, that's kind of cool if that's the case.
It should be a bigger area than Combat Prayer though, or at least have a minor buff thrown in to make it competitive.

You realize all Feng rush has ever are about is improving his pvp stam sorc right, if you play pvp stam sorc then sure, no big deal in this patch.

It seems that way - I actually like the concept of the change. It will require templars to play differently and be mindful when healing. Something that didnt exist with BOL in large groups. This allows players to utilize root against them effectively to cause an impact where they would normally just hold block and flood heals through it. If they outnumbered their enemies it was an easy win unless you could negate them.
Repent and shards - those are unique teamplay features I want to see MORE of in the game. I want those in the game.
Major mending on both templar and DK - serious changes. I think they both need to be revisited. Their thought process here is to keep those classes from having full uptime (same should apply to warden). They should allow these classes to play to the strength of those buffs and have them under conditions. EI: do <X> action and gain major mending for <Y> time. Something where it wont allow it to ALWAYS be up. That would be a better approach. The DK change basically was in line with this and only while shield was up. Problem is, shield is up for such a short window that this invalidates it.

I will continue using my Nord Magicka Templar.
Deltia isn't bad for the game, and, quite frankly, only 1 or 2 of his builds have ever been considered "meta" at any point. Even then, the meta isn't the meta because someone made a build video out of it. It's the meta because it's the most effective for the task at hand. You keep using that garbo Templar, and I'll keep making sure that no builds like that are ever in any raid group I run with.

She's heals baddies like you through Vet runs daily.
That extra 2K Magicka that a High Elf or Breton has really makes or breaks the group.
*rolls eyes*

The butthurt in this one is strong.
As per my other thread, go actually play the PTS and try it, do some theory crafting and stop proclaiming the death of the game because of some paragraths.
If you want to stop the changes, actually try and do something to convince ZOS rather than just posting trash on the forums (that's my job).

LOL, you actually think feedback matters, have you been here the last few patches..

The Repentance change sucks and if any change gets reversed I bet it'll be that one. But Templar being THE ONLY healer accepted in trials was what got them nerfed.
I made a Templar solely for the purpose of healing, but mainly because using the resto staffs skills on other classes got boring. I wanted more skills to choose from and Templar gave me that. I think that's what they need to address more than nerfing what Templar has. Give the other classes better skills for healing. There's plenty of useless skills in every class' trees to choose from to redesign. This would apply to tanking too.

Exactly my point.
But also consider: 90%+ of the game population is Casual gamers who don't chase and have no interest in chasing the Meta or FotM builds.
What do these changes and soul-crushing nerf to sustain do to them?
They won't have any inclination to "adapt" like the people who DO chase the MEta will do. They'll just see the game becoming vastly more difficult overnight, and they'll simply lose their desire to play.
These changes might not be so bad to the people on the Forums who chase that Meta, but to everyone else...
@Uriel_Nocturne i'm appauled you think so lowly of a casual player's attention span
if they play so casually as you imply, these changes likely won't matter to them with how patheticically easy the level of content they must partake in is to keep them feeling rewarded
