Again who has 15k stam as a redguard even with all my points into magica I still have more than that.

How is that relevant. It was nerf. It was nerf aimed at the passive. That 15k tidbit is just that... fluff text.
And to give you generic idea how impactful it will be the more above 15k you have.
I know it was a nerf I just want them to tell us the truth.

You mean that truth that was there, that said it is buff below 15k and nerf above? Or the truth that it was nerfed because it was overperforming? Reading comprehension is underrated.
I just want them to say its a nerf and not lie and say its a buff for anyone under 15k when no one is under 15k.

So telling truth it now lying when you dont like it or what?
This will be a buff is your maximum resource is below 15,840 and a nerf if it is above.
They literally said IT WILL BE NERF ABOVE 15K

And I wouldnt say nobody is below 15k. Magicka redguards at noCP shouldnt have that much stamina without food.

With all due respect. most of the people playing magicka redguards are not the type who care about stats at all, since it's not really a good choice for magicka classes. They're already suboptimal. While I agree it isn't a lie, the way it's worded did sound off to me. Like they're trying to lessen the blow from people angry redguard sustain has now been nerfed three times. This, at least to me, is little better than lying even if it's just attempting to spin it in a different light.

I mean, obviously they are trying to lessen the blow. Redguard was on top for so long, half the game are redguards. Unfortunately for them, it didnt work and most people lack reading comprehension and we have half the post in this thread because of it.

It still offers good points tho. If you can read, you will see clearly where the breaking point is. You will know that if you run with 50k stamina (if its possible even) you just got rekt sooooooooooo much.

So many stamina users crutched on Adrenaline Rush, glad to see it nerfed into the ground. It was literally just this one passive and the way people stacking maximum stamina that made it an issue. Glad ZOS actually went in and fixed the maximum resource stacking issues elsewhere as well.

Oh you mean like the sorcs that were stacking max magicka along with multiple percentage based modifiers to increase not only the damage of their spells, but also the size of their shields, and the damage of their pets? You mean the class that is currently top of the leagues in both PvE and PvP, and is listed to get the absolute least nerfs of any class going forward? That maximum resource stacking issue is being addressed so well, yes. Insightful.

I directed my point more so towards stam dk but you bring a good point up about sorc. Just let us crit shields and everything would be cool.

You're just jealous that Redguard was more popular than imperial:/

Well.. when you compare Red Diamond to Adrenaline Rush, both the last tier racial passive talents for the 2 shield wielding races, one of them is miles better then the other. Im not jealous, just dumbfounded how long it took for the developers to realise how strong it really was.

So if shields become crittable and they become completely useless because of this, how do you propose Sorcs survive? And how do all the Sorcs who only use Hardened ward, not Hardened + Harness survive with 1 shield gameplay when they have 0 resistances and are crittable?

@GreenSoup2HoT Lol good point but they should have just buffed red diamond instead of nerfing adrenaline rush.

Add resistance to the shields so its not 100% faceroll. Shields are basically heals. As long as you can apply it your golden. As for only using 1 shield when sorcs are thee shield stacking class well thats on you.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH holy...right when I thought I was free...just buff red diamond, give wood elf more max stam ;) and leave redguard alone. They get the highest max stam possible with resources..anyways leave wood elf alone, we came a long way since launch.

Yeah but Woodelf's actually needs to spec into recovery to come out with the same recovery Redguards Adrenaline Rush was pulling.

For example, 40k max stamina Redguard gets 480 stamina recovery granted they proc the passive every 5 seconds. Not to hard considering its their melee attacks.. moving on.

In order to get 480 stamina recovery out of a 21% bonus well... divide 480 by 0.21 to get 2285. So you will need 2765 stamina recovery total on a Woodelf to match the recovery bonus from Adrenaline Rush on a 40k stam Redguard.

Granted Woodelfs passive happens all the time but Redguards can also use their passive to obtain stamina while blocking which is very strong.

The biggest difference was Redguards could run max hp/stam foods and still have very high recovery. A woodelf would have to sacrifice either max health or stamina to reproduce the recovery returns of a Redguard.

After this latest patch im not to sure. Redguards even with the change will be getting 240 stamina recovery since its scaled to about 20k stamina now. Which is still a decent amount of recovery. All this means is Redguards may actually need to put points into health or recovery depending on how they build.

This nerf has been a long time coming but its a good thing. People actually need to think about their builds instead of just stacking max stat with a Redguard and that being the end of it.

I would say all the stamina races now are more so balanced since the one race that was arguably over the top has been reined in.

Can't compare the argonian passive to the redguard's, the argonian only profits from it when using a potion (every ~45s), redguard passive gives you around an extra 400-500 stam recovery with an average build, which is insanely strong imo.

Which balances with bismer passive. Now there is no competition. Bosmer is now superior with it's massive stam recovery. The redguard change was unnecessary.
