Tier 4 PvP Rewards?

Do you think it is time to add a new tier for end of campaign rewards? The highest tier at the moment, tier 3 is unlocked by achieving 100,000 AP and rewards the player with 1,250 - 19,500 gold. Is it time to add a tier that requires more AP, which yields more gold?

    1 million AP, you can buy a few Akaviri motifs, take it to stormhaven, deshan, gratwood or Craglorn and sell in chat. You get at least 60k each. 60-90k range.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards

    This poll is not about turning PvP upside down, it is about whether we need to add a higher tier to accommodate for the disparity between those those that are at tier 3 with 100k AP and those that are at tier 3 with 15mil AP.

    More gold and cooler rewards would be nice. It does kinda suck that PVE players get gear with unique effects and unique visuals (unique Maelstrom/Master's weapon models, unique blue glow on MOL weapons) from their endgame content, but PVPers usually walk away with a gold Marksman staff and 20k gold after a month's worth of PVP.

    Doesn't necessarily need to be another tier although I think one more couldn't hurt. But, it does need to be harder to reach tiers. I can get tier three in a couple of days sometimes. I'm sure others get it in a session. Pvp rewards are totally messed up. Also it's kind of silly, the only thing that should have a bearing on end of campaign rewards is your overall ranking. Why have rewards tiers and then ranking affect what you get? Especially when tiers are reached so quickly. I mean maybe if say top 10 was tier 4, top 30 tier 3, top 100 tier 2 and everyone else tier 1 or whatever. Idk it just makes little sense now.

    Yes that is what I'm primarily troubled with, getting to tier three can be done in one session, while in order to get the next level of rewards you need to invest serious time into PvP. I would say the ratio from tier 2 to tier 1 in time spent is 2:1, the ratio between tier 3 and tier 2 in time spent is also 2:1, but the ration between the top 10 percent and tier is 12:1 or higher depending on the activity of the campaign while you're on.

    Honestly I don't see a compelling reason for PvP reward tiers to stop at any level, just get exponentially higher each time.

    This is the completely wrong thought process. Gear should be relatively easy to get like it is now. That way everyone is equal based on gear and the real difference is based on skill. If you can't beat someone just because they were able to get gear easily then the gear isn't the problem.

    I like the tears because it gives a good reward for the people like me that play practically every day and contribute to the campaign but having a full time job and a family prevents me of ever having a shot at being in the top 10.

    I do think there needs to be more tiers.

    That would be cool too but I could see a problem with ZOS creating an algorithm that doesn't become insane as there exists severe differences in AP accumulated. If someone is at 100k AP getting 12,500 gold at the end would that give someone at 10mil AP 1,250,000 gold?

    I'm really confused at ZOS' hesitation in providing PvP rewards. everything that side of the game is extremely grindy.

    Yes, Tier 4 rewards need to be added again...If you finished in the top 10 or so in your home pvp campaign, you would receive a master weapon drop.

    PvP content needs more goals, not at all opposed to adding a new tier.

    Although what I would like to see is better end campaign drops. The same gold jewelry has been dropping for damn near a year now. It's old, outdated. Give us some useful PvP rewards. While you're at it remove Rewards for the Worthy altogether and add the gold/gems to the end campaign rewards and make the set items that are in the mails purchasable from a vendor for AP.
