Jewels of Misrule?

Do these even exist?
i've found something like a dozen of those banners, and plenty of every other drop from the supply case.... never the jewels of misrule.

I also cannot find them in guild stores.... and no one seems to be selling any in chat. Are they that rare? or is there some issue with the drop rate?

I am trying to get that one too on 2 characters. I have over 10 Green recipes and 5 banners.

Guild mates have actually been selling them for 100k in the traders.

Khajiit she has found three and sold two.

It is the other one - Dubious Camoran Tomes or something - that this one she still seeks.

This one wonders what it is possible to do with 15 of the ugly purple banners though apart from perhaps starting a big purple bonfire yes?

This is pretty ridiculous... i'd rather not feel like i'm farming vma for an inferno staff. This is a "holiday" event.

I have a stupid amount of banners though.

Perhaps if we all take our banners to the middle of one of the dolmens in the Alik'r Desert and drop them down the hole in the then Molag Bal will be oh so happy with his gift of a thousand of the purple banners that he will gift us the missing recipe yes?

Can confirm I have all 4 recipes on 2 chars ( my main for the achi and my crafter because he has all or at least most recipes )

If all else fails OP just buy em they can't be that expensive

Well that's part of the problem... i can't find one for sale anywhere. Checked all the main trader spots and even posted in zone chat.

But it's good to know people are at least finding them.

Yep the drops on this event are pretty stupid.

A friend of mine has over 50 banners.
I have at least 10 of the stupid yellow rune box that I only need one per account but the purple recipes that should drop more often are rarer than unicorns

I still need 8 of the two purple recipes the festival reward gives. Since I am only doing the Daggerfall quest (because I am doing the dazzling fireworks achievement) I guess it may take some time to get the remaining 16 recipes I need (not much time to do all 3 quests on 12 toons on working days).

When you have all achives done, you can find the tree vendor in any capitol city near the housing vendor.

RNG at work again. I got several of the Tomes purple recipe and sold them in the guild store. Finally gave up and bought the Jewels recipe when I saw it at 25K. Wasn't going to pay any more than that, OCD or not.

I think the RNG gods were making up for the Great Hissmir Fish-Eye Rye debacle of 2016 - because Dubious Camoran Throne dropped from me in the first box I opened. I did eventually collect the other three - so they are out there. Banner warehouse in Mara's Kiss though...

Check the out of place random guild stores, the one's no one goes to. Found one for 1.5k

I've seen some on PS4 NA In Mournhold for the "low price" of 70k lol. Luckily I got a second Camoran recipe which I traded for Misrule.

lost track of banners - well over a dozen.

why banners are not sellable is beyond my comprehension.

maybe could use them to mark a race track in earthtear?

My crafter got all achievements in the first 2 days, my other characters all need both of the "Jewel's" and "Throne" recipes to complete.

The banners and the willow branches drop most of the time.

Why are the banners a purple item and so plenty full is silly which makes perfect sense its a Jesters festival after all.

Been doing the event daily. Got the Camoran Throne on day 1. Got everything else done day 2, except the Jewels of Misrule. Still waiting on the Jewels drop.

Tying several achievements (including the "overall" one) to a rare item that only drops in a time-boxed event with no method of otherwise getting it is absolutely *** stupid.

They need to put in a vendor that will trade you X Jester's Banners for 1 recipe of your choice.

They should make the banners tradeable and able to be put in a guild bank.

I can imagine someone doing something weirdly creative if they have enough.

I have 40ish banners, and closing in on 10 rune boxes, across 2 accounts. Still only 3 characters that know all 4 recipes though. Maybe they should allow duplicate bound furniture items (I'm looking at you Vials of Blood from the Shadowy Supplier and Jester Banners) to be traded for a single Crown Gem. ZOS can look at it as a way to introduce Crown Crates to those that normally wouldn't, and in my case, never will, buy them.

Sorry, OT. Need more Jewels of Misrule.

The Banners should be bound, but they should have had a 20 gold vendor value. Small, but better than worthless as they are now.

I've got a spare Jewels of Misrule recipe, I'm hoping I can trade it for a Dubious Camoran Throne recipe as that one just won't drop for me.

Sounds like both purple recipes are rare so hopefully there's a guildie in the opposite position to me I can swap with.

That's technically not true. You get a title and the crown without either of the grindy achievements, the dazzlers 50 times or the 4 recipes.
Sure, you get "Royal Jester" for doing those also, but it's just for "virtual measuring contest" bragging rights when most people don't care about it, especially on PC where nobody else can see your achievements or total.

If you want the title then it is easy enough to get it on one character at least especially with people selling recipes, but be willing to pay for your elitism that nobody else views as elite.
