    I want that Forester's Hood.
I wanted it, too, but it was disappointing when I was able to get it. It clips badly with staves (the stave looks like it's punching through a hole in the fabric) ... which would be OK if I played anything other than a sorceror who uses staves. LOL. Also, it dyes a little differently than many of the costumes, so it's really, really difficult to get it to match any of the costumes. I'd love it if it was compatible with using staves.

I wanted the forester hood. Minus the flower.

I'm skipping this series mostly, I even have a ton of gems saved up. I honestly hope they bring back storm crates at some point for one of the hats I missed (had to work day and night the last few days of storm crates).

I totally love the Hircine statue and the two banners. Since I already have a cave I built dedicated to Hircine, I was super happy to have a chance to add stuff to that theme.
I was lucky enough to get the statue and the smaller of the two banners. They both look incredible in the game.

I could have gotten the second banner if I'd spent gems for it, but the doom wolf and pup took priority. B)
45 dollar virtual statue. cool beanz

It's not $45 for the statue. It's $45 for the statue, plus a bunch of other random items. If he's OK with that, then why should it bother you?*
    *That's a rhetorical question. Please don't answer.

Random items he never asked for. Majority of the items are things I'd never want or need and the gem return is quite poor. Plus I don't think you can get gems from non consumables unless you own them already? I'm not sure. I just wanna buy a headpiece, not a buncha mounts, pets and such, without going through some unnecessary gimmick. In the end it just makes getting the item you want incredibly expensive.

I haven't seen any sloppy textures or mesh clipping on the wild hunt items? If you're complaining about texture resolution, that's a matter of performance, not quality.

Maybe not in the wild hunt items, but pay close attention to costumes and armor when dyed and you'll see how poorly implemented the system is. You'll find parts that don't dye well, parts that don't dye at all, hues getting screwed up, etc. If you disable specular map on textures, you'll see how sloppy the diffuse maps are. Additionally, the general lack of physics makes almost every costume look like a plastic suit for the character. I was playing ESO and kindda got used to it for a while, a couple weeks back I started replaying Guild Wars 2 and was amazed by how much more detail and care they put into costumes and armor... when I tried to get back to eso and looked at my char it bothered me quite a bit. I guess this is a minor thing for some and a major for others... To me it just destroys my gaming experience... Gonna wait to see if they have any innovative looking armor/costume with the morrowind update and depending on it, I'll buy it and continue to play it. I hope they introduce some decent armor :)

Moreover, specifically talking about the crown crate items now:
Costumes are, at least to me, worthless without knowing how they dye... over 95% of the costumes and armor dye HORRIBLY with my favorite color, coldharbor ash black, ranging from brown to grey to freaking silver. If they charge so much for a vanity item, why cant they allow us to preview it with whatever dyes we want?
I kindda liked the moth priest costume but realized that I would have to pay 20-30 bucks for more or less a guaranteed chance of acquiring it. Putting aside the fact that other games have much more detailed and cooler (subjective here) costumes priced at one third this amount, even if I had gotten it, odds are it would still dye horribly and be completely useless to me. Those are the things that make me pissed at Zenimax... It's ok to be greedy imo, if you have a good product to show for it. But being greedy with a bad or "meh" product is just sad and revolting. Well, that's how I feel at least... Some may disagree, but I am sure that others can relate to how I feel.

Oh, and getting back to your comment,
I am running it on 1920x1080 resolution, forcing Anisotropic filtering 16x through my graphics card and with MIP_LOAD_SKIP_LEVELS "-3" (most detailed textures).

All these people bad mouth ESO on a daily basis because they "care" so much about the game. It's probably the same thing they say after they hit their wives for not meeting the perfect standards they hold them to.

Keep in mind that the dye system is most likely based on vertex colours. And while it's a fairly basic way of recolouring a mesh, it's definitely the most performance friendly. I really wouldn't judge the arts team based on how their content looks when dyed in a specific colour. Actually, fact that we have such a flexible dye system at all is rather amazing.

Additionally, the general lack of physics makes almost every costume look like a plastic suit for the character
In regards to physics, you really have to keep in mind how limited they are when creating animated objects for an MMO. People are conctantly complaining about performance issues, and adding dozens of new cloth animations to every costume they release is not going to make it any better.

If these are the types of features you're looking for in a video game, the MMO genre is probably not the right place to be.

Well, as soon as you purchase a single crate you're asking for any item in a sense. After all, that's how the crates work. If people don't know that, then they have more pressing issues than the implementation of crown crates.

@Preyfar submit a support ticket for that, there is no way they'll not give that back.
Yeah, they didn't give it back.

ZOS support kind of implied I'm lying about not getting my scroll from the crown crates. "Looking over your account, it appears that the scroll in question was converted into gems." Yes, because I opened 45 crates and got multiple XP scrolls. I didn't, however, get the one that didn't drop. So they're NOT going to return the item I couldn't pick up from the crates (or the money). But I guess have a good history and they gave me 5 Psijic Ambrosia in place of the scrolls.

They can't prove I didn't get the item, show me converting the "lost" item into gems... yet still gave me XP pots to replace it. They both imply that I lied about NOT getting the item... yet they still gave me pots at the same time. I'm both confused and angry.

I knew spending $120 on the crown crates was stupid as hell (that's on me) but this has kind of killed my desire to play the game outright. I bought the crates because I wanted to support ZOS, and yet... I feel miffed. Why would I lie over a freakin' XP scroll? I'm CP 879 and EVERY character but my mule is maxed out. I have ZERO USE for an XP Scroll, let alone Psijic. I mean, I appreciate the the pots to me, but I also feel like they're also quasi-accusing me of shenanigans.
