Sheesh, really disappointing to see the varied range here. I have a total of 55 vouchers, half of which I got from purchased MWs. So discouraging to see that being a "master" crafter doesn't mean jack.

This whole system was designed to "reward" master crafters, but with the system being based on RNG, it's not a reward at all. You put in all this effort to get what? A random chance to receive a MW that may "reward" you with anywhere from 2 to 300+ vouchers? A player who is truly a master crafter can slowly accumulate 50 or so vouchers after a couple weeks, but another player who is only level 50 in the crafts with very little in the way of motifs/research can hit the jackpot with a 300+ voucher.

They should have implemented a system whereby there is a MW board where you can pick up ONE MW each day. It will be random what craft (from those you are a master at) and can still vary in rewards, and you may not even be able to craft it. But, at least you are guaranteed a writ every day on each master crafter. They could even set a minimum to qualify for these, so that just having level 50 with allocated points isn't enough. The system as it is isn't really rewarding for most, since it's a complete crap shoot.

I got one that gave me 78 once for a legendary sword of some sort (can't remember), but most of the time it just gives a few, like 4-8 maybe. The big ones really help, IF you can actually make them. Definitely a black hole for resources in the long run. It would probably cost less time and money to just buy what you are looking for on a guild store for a few million then roll the RNG dice forever...

I have two toons with two maxed professions, and so far they got a couple of really small sealed writs. I have one character who has max clothing, ww, enchanting, and provisioning. The character has full 9 trait ww and clothing. So far that character has got 251, 119, 57, 7, and 2 sealed writs. I never made anything, I sold it all. My bank funds went up over 1 million gold during the past week.

Whenever a patch comes out, people will pay max. price for the new stuff. It won't be long before the new stuff (sealed writs) is worth very little. Therefore, sell it now and once it becomes worthless, use it. ...MMO economics 100.

10 is the highest on my provisioner. I have had one legendary writ on my enchanter that only rewarded 2 vouchers. I am like wtf? So tired of this system. Ground out crafting on different characters so as not to tie up so many skill points. Now we are being punished for it for not doing it all on one character. Now I need to re-research clothing and wood on one crafter plus all styles just to get all the vouchers together. I haven't done any writs to turn in because of this bs. They could have just made the vouchers account wide like tel var and end of problem. Now my bank is crammed full of writs just sitting there.....

Over the weekend, I received a WW MW for 44 vouchers and a BS MW for 86 vouchers. I only had 53 total before, which was only because I purchased 2 MWs that gave me 30 (to add to the 23 I already had). Feast or famine, I guess.

I would like to amend my earlier statement of 2 Writ Vouchers as my highest total(twice) and change it to the fantastic amount of 5 Writ Vouchers. However I did get a Clothing Writ for a DLC style and set 9 trait Ancestor Silk hat for 84 Writ Vouchers. Sadly even though I had the knowledge and materials and the DLC I did not have the 9th trait only 8 with all of my research spots full so it's going to take at least 40 more days before I can even attempt that - as for now its up for sale on the Guild Stores - Xbox EU. If it doesn't sell in the 30 days at least I'll another shot at attempting it.

Long story short - highest is now 5 Writ Vouchers, up from 2.

Got a 55 voucher woodworking writ last night which becomes my highest. Questionable as to the value when it was legendary but as I maintain a supply of about 200 of each gold improvement material, I went ahead and made it.

My 3 highest voucher writs, 55, 39 and 20, have all come from less experienced crafters, so I do not believe there is anything more than RNG at play here - regardless of what ZOS say.

I have sold a hand full of MW's due to not knowing motifs but if I can do them I will - at least for now. I have my manor, a target dummy, a couple of crafting stations and still have plenty of gold, so have no plans to sell any MW's purely for profit.

I'm on xb1 eu and I'm getting them for 2k per as a lot of people have got what they need now and the amount of legendary mats needed

My record, 328 vouchers. I believe this is the best or second best available. Possible best would be otherwise same but with Akaviri motif. Some patch notes mentioned it got 10% increase in vouchers. What the patch notes actually meant with it, i don't know.

I'd be happy to 'waste' the mats for 88 vouchers but only because I get more gold improvement mats than I use. I'd probably have to draw the line at about 50 vouchers while I had sufficient mats.

If i didn't have the mats I would hang on to the writ until I had them without buying them. Let's face it, if I am doing daily writs to get master writs, I will get gold improvement items either from the rewards or from harvesting the survey maps and refining.

I still do them all because of the achievement; and I still need purple furnishing recipes from the voucher container.

My highest is still 168 with almost 300 legendary writs completed now. I don't buy the master writs, though, to expensive for the return and I make gold running writs.

I got my first writ today for the awesome amount of 5 vouchers. Was an alchemy writ though, so I guess 5 is good? Could be worse.

My largest was for 146 vouchers, a legendary nirnhoned something. But that was in the first week... since then I've come to learn that 6 vouchers for equipment crafts or even 2 vouchers for provisioning/alchemy/enchanting is a lucky break... (and this is on my main crafter who basically knows it all but the new stuff and one other motif alongside 5 other alt crafters that are rapidly learning motifs and partially researched on traits while fully researched on alchemy/enchanting with most purple & gold recipes known for provisioning).

I've not seen a legendary master writ in quite some time and evidently all the non-nirnhoned epic master writs are like 6 vouchers even if they're IC-based.

My biggest issue is WHY?

I have other guildies getting better reward writs, with less skills, research, & recipes learned.

It's like you're punished for knowing more.
Thanks devs for punishing me, and many others for the time & effort we put in [everyday], only to be severely disappointed.

I really just don't understand the logic. If you want a time sink, for profits' sake, make repeatable writs for less rewards. Not rare writs for less rewards, for those that are maxing/have maxed out tradeskills.
