Soloable Dungeons

I just started soloing dungeons with my new and improved magplar and am having a blast. But I ran into a hickup with Direfrost Keep because you need two people for pressure plates. Which dungeons need more that one player (because of mechanics) so I can avoid them?

    your best bet is to run a search on this forum- keyword SOLO DUNGEONS. There have been many discussions about what can and can not be solo'd as well as how to avoid/go around some of the group mechanics. Good luck!

    Vet is still very difficult for many, many people and that's where the best gear is hidden for the most part.

    @ArchMikem - Here is her setup:

    5x Twice Born Star (chest, legs, waist, wrists, feet - all divines)
    5x Withered Hand (head & shoulders w/divines, jewelry w/spell damage)

    You'll be surprised by how many people find normal dungeons difficult/challenging, even in a group. The difficulty scale as far as I can tell goes:

    Rabbits, Foxes, Deer, Snakes, etc.

    In the beginning all of those things had caps and combat was much more fun and balanced because of it.

    They were 'soft' caps, in that you could go over, but trying to stack nothing but weapon damage, for example, would result in additional bonuses counting for less and less.

    It was also entirely possible to play a hybrid as well because you didn't have to stack everything into stamina/weapon damage or magicka/spell damage to be competitive.

    ACTUALLY. We had much more varied builds back then.
    Nowadays everyone has the same builds because you have to stack certain stats to oblivion to be competitive.

    (This was all pre-Console, by the way.)

    You can dodge roll the hallucinations in ruins of mazzatun. Cradle can be soloed if and only if you burst down the 2nd boss fast enough into his mechanic where he becomes immuned to damage. Other then that it is pretty difficult to solo

    Alternatively, you can go through the exit part of that area by flipping the switch through the second gate (in the room before the pressure plates), travelling backwards through the area to the boss, killing the boss through the door, then using the portal at the start of the dungeon to port yourself into the room where the boss was and flip the first switch to open the rest of the dungeon.

    You can dodge roll the hallucinations in ruins of mazzatun. Cradle can be soloed if and only if you burst down the 2nd boss fast enough into his mechanic where he becomes immuned to damage. Other then that it is pretty difficult to solo

    Take from those natch potes and tested ingame:
    • Ruins of Mazzatun
      • The Hist Hallucinations from Tree-Minder Na-Kesh can no longer be dodged.

    Vet is still very difficult for many, many people and that's where the best gear is hidden for the most part.

    Except its not..you get blue and upgrade to purple. Only thing about normal difficulty is you get blue jewelry instead of purple. you would need to do Vet to get the best jewelry but not so with armor and weapons.
