The best way to deal with a Nightblade, is by being another Nightblade.

Whenever one pops their head out of Stealth, first thing I immediately do is cast Piercing Mark. It's hilarious seeing them desperately trying to run away, casting Cloak and failing miserably. Then it's just a matter of trying to land your hits on them as they use up all their Stamina dodge rolling away.

It was more like harassment. District to district but it's cool. I reported him for unsporting behavior. In a warzone, you kill whoever you see, harassment, you follow the same two people around for an hour. Btw, my wife is a 255 healer. Classic 561 NB always waiting and ganking lowbies. It definitely takes more skill than standing there and spamming heals, then pulling out jabs to spam those then a radiant desstruction.

ALSO, takes more skill than hurricane, critical charge, dawnbreaker and then executioner too Stam Sorcs.

Its easy to point the finger at nightblades but I genuinely think it takes skill to kill and remian hidden (if you're doing it solo against a group)
I personally have no respect for the typical magplar and stam sorc who think they're unique and skillful.

Best advice I can give to a TV farmer: Bring a few dozen friends.

    * Gankblades will still hit you but they can't kill 20+ people. They get really mad when you gang up and refuse to be easy picking.
    * The mobs die faster, and you can farm the heck out of the bosses in every district, run clockwise or counter clockwise and keep moving.
    * Safety in numbers. Players who are less skilled at PVP can heal up, guard, and buff those who are.
    * Capture districts and gain AP, then buy an imperial recall stone. Use those if you really need to, but if your group is big enough you can pretty much slow-walk home.
    * Don't chase or engage an enemy alone, stay in your group. Remain disciplined. Use teamspeak and fight together as a unit. Designate a leader and follow.

Nightblades complain constantly about zerging, but their sociopathic and predatory playstyle pretty much requires grouping up for new and inexperienced PVPers. And when you step into IC, you BECOME a PVPer, whether you like it or not. Fortunately you don't have to be a great PVPer to succeed, you just need friends.

Now gather your whole guild and go back and get the Hajieko stone you want. You might even enjoy group PVP and get good at it.

So that is what makes a rabbit hunter with a shot gun better than the rabbit he kills - the planning, positioning and buffing that to goes into it?

It is not whether they think they are cool or not. What tells me a lot about these people is the fact that they do not care what you, me, or anyone else thinks of them.

I had some guild mates use crackwood in order to level up their low levels, and this mag sorc (max level) kept ganking them. So my guild mates sent the sorc a message asking if he could leave them alone. So he responds with "10k and I'll leave you alone".

So then I go there, and kill the sorc. After he came back and died around three or four times, I messaged him saying "10k and I'll leave you alone". He never came back after that.

Stealth classes attract the scum of the earth in every game.

I don't mind them in close quarters PvP games (like MOBAs and team based shooters), but they are super annoying in PvE/PvP hybrid games where you can't defend yourself against a gank while you're preoccupied with PvE mobs.

The Nightblade had no obligation to leave you alone, even if you asked him/her. Though, Imperial City, including the sewers, is a big place – just move to a different location.

They aren't under any obligation, you're right there. But only a scrub is going to hunt down and kill some newbie over and over again.

If I run into a couple of PVE players that die really quickly, I'll kill them just that once. Then leave. Any more than that is just borderline sociopathic.

Experienced PVPers? I've had some really fun back and forth kill-one-another-then-respawn fights. I kill him, then maybe once again, then he manages to kill me. That's what I'm looking for.

Not to sound harsh but I've always regarded PvP zones as fair game areas, and saying that the system is stupid because it is working as intended is kinda silly.
This, its add a bit of spice.
I'm not an PvP player myself, yes I enjoy Cyrodil with guild as an group activity and had plenty of fun but as an group event.
If you farm and get ganked its part of the risk, same way as faming in hard areas like craglorn.
Ress and go somewhere else, and keep to areas your faction control.

For skyshard and quests same rules, for enemy areas do it as an group or on an low pop campain at low pop hours.
And yes if you saw an enemy you could kill easy because he was fighting an monster, would you not kill him.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Did you ask nicely ? It is a PVP zone and you are walking in of your own free will . If someone told me to just leave them alone I would put them on ignore and kill them . If they asked politely I have nothing forcing me to oblige but probably would if it was asked in a nice way . Gankers get ganked too and are taking a risk too in IC . Sometimes they get zerged down and are in a bad mood .

I will usually defend nightblades but I have zero love for gankers especially gankers who prey on low cp players. I agree with you op it's a very toxic playstyle and it's such a gimmick. I will say it's easy to counter just listen for the sound of a bow attack and instantly put up block. you brought some of this on yourself as well. if you aren't very good yet you shouldn't be walking around imperial city with only 2 people and zero stealth counters. You are basically nightblade prey at that point. Some things you can do have a better experience are slot radiant magelight, get some detect/immovable pots, and maybe even wear heavy armor. It's the best armor option for every class except sorcerer and if you are a sorc and solo in imperial city you need to be casting a shield every 6 seconds until you learn how to detect gankers using the audio ques the game give. Because while I do agree with you ganking is very toxic, it doesn't sound like you are taking many preventive measures to avoid being ganked. And honestly if you are new to PvP and are in a small group any skilled PVPer will take your stones regardless of class

People are toxic, yes. People wear their egos on their sleeves, double yes. People tend to gravitate towards the most efficient (easiest) method of action to achieve their goals. This applies to everyone, that's human nature.

Ganking is going to happen. It sucks to be on the receiving end, and for some people, it sucks to perform.

    It's a fact of life.

The system is working as intended, and you should expect to be killed every time you walk through that door. Take steps to mitigate your risk, applaud those who best you, ignore the bad sports, and have fun. If you can't have fun with the level of risk in the Imperial City, then perhaps that particular piece of content is not for you.

That's alright, but that's not the game.

Why should they care what you think about them. It's a video game. They're having a good time playing their class while we have people like OP sitting here on the forums demanding nerfs; hell, even demanding bans. Get ganked? Shrug it off and keep playing. People need to learn that dying in a game is just that. Dying in a video game. Die and respawn. Rinse and repeat.

If he then did allow this enemy player to pass he or she would of been in direct dereliction of thier duties and a subject to court marshal ... That kind of record can follow a role player around you know .
