Had one literally stalk my girl and I in IC just now. We were in a dead server, IC was completely blue and she needed Hakejio. I rarely go to IC. I msg the guy asking him to leave us alone and then he follows us around ganking us everytime we hit a mob. This system is so stupid. Stones being ganked by cowards.

You're in a warzone. Expect to be killed by the enemy.
So that is what makes a rabbit hunter with a shot gun better than the rabbit he kills - the planning, positioning and buffing that to goes into it?Narvuntien wrote: »I do not think I am cool.
I am enjoying the challanges of performing a successful gank.
Just because it looks like I come out of nowhere and one shot you doesn't mean there isn't a lot of planning, positioning buffing that goes into it before the act.
You are underestimating the effort invovled.
The Nightblade had no obligation to leave you alone, even if you asked him/her. Though, Imperial City, including the sewers, is a big place – just move to a different location.
This, its add a bit of spice.Rene_Valionus wrote: »Not to sound harsh but I've always regarded PvP zones as fair game areas, and saying that the system is stupid because it is working as intended is kinda silly.
Best advice I can give to a TV farmer: Bring a few dozen friends.
* Gankblades will still hit you but they can't kill 20+ people. They get really mad when you gang up and refuse to be easy picking.
* The mobs die faster, and you can farm the heck out of the bosses in every district, run clockwise or counter clockwise and keep moving.
* Safety in numbers. Players who are less skilled at PVP can heal up, guard, and buff those who are.
* Capture districts and gain AP, then buy an imperial recall stone. Use those if you really need to, but if your group is big enough you can pretty much slow-walk home.
* Don't chase or engage an enemy alone, stay in your group. Remain disciplined. Use teamspeak and fight together as a unit. Designate a leader and follow.
Nightblades complain constantly about zerging, but their sociopathic and predatory playstyle pretty much requires grouping up for new and inexperienced PVPers. And when you step into IC, you BECOME a PVPer, whether you like it or not. Fortunately you don't have to be a great PVPer to succeed, you just need friends.
Now gather your whole guild and go back and get the Hajieko stone you want. You might even enjoy group PVP and get good at it.

It was more like harassment. District to district but it's cool. I reported him for unsporting behavior. In a warzone, you kill whoever you see, harassment, you follow the same two people around for an hour. Btw, my wife is a 255 healer. Classic 561 NB always waiting and ganking lowbies. Also, I did spam Scorching Flare, didn't do any good. Alas, I am done with this thread. Just another post for this [snip] community to bash. What's new.

It is not whether they think they are cool or not. What tells me a lot about these people is the fact that they do not care what you, me, or anyone else thinks of them.

Ganking is going to happen. It sucks to be on the receiving end, and for some people, it sucks to perform.
It's a fact of life.
The system is working as intended, and you should expect to be killed every time you walk through that door. Take steps to mitigate your risk, applaud those who best you, ignore the bad sports, and have fun. If you can't have fun with the level of risk in the Imperial City, then perhaps that particular piece of content is not for you.
That's alright, but that's not the game.
It's you.
