VMA drops any better?

Anyone that's been running VMA after homestead.... having better luck with any drops? Seeing more destro staff drops? I don't mean better as in, traits like sharpened... just asking about variety.
I'd like to come back to it and finally get the lightning staff i spent months looking for (still never had a single one drop) but the RNG outlook keeps pushing me away.

As soon as it launches on console I'm doing 20 runs back to back for the day 1 of on twitch so it will be interesting!

@Pallio do you mean two 1h axe drops in a row? or you got the dual wield drop with two axes in it?

Got 2 1hd axes for completing it once.. so the 2 dw items thing is working, bad traits of course, but, it is working.

I get 6 one hand and shield as my award for Vma weekly and more than 20 of them in the van runs last patch

Just ran it once this morning. Seems much easier thanks to destro buff. I got a decisive lightening staff. And an argonian behemoth bust for my serenity falls estate

Can you post a video of the ritual you had to perform to make it happen? apparently i'm doing it wrong.

It's reassuring to at least see you had ZERO resto staff drops and ZERO shield drops.... that was probably 50% + of all my drops before homestead.

I run it twice after the Homestead update and got one ice staff with the defending trait and one restoration staff with the precise trait.

It's better actually. SnB regardless of traits is pretty useless while a sharpened resto can be nice for solo/small group PvP and vMA.

Ok so people are getting Sharpened after the homestead patch? I could have sworn they've gotten rid of it. I've run it 30 times so far after the patch without a sharpened drop of any weapon type. FML.

I have only ever completed vma after homestead patch. The increase in cp + destroy staff damage means it's easier. I only have pvp gear so that means it's a little harder for me. But anyway I have completed it 3 times so far on a magika sorc.

1st run. Sharpened restro staff
2nd charged restro staff
3rd run sharpened ice staff

After not running it for quite a while, I ran vma this weekend just for the housing statue. Got a sharpened inferno staff from the leaderboard weekly reward :^)

Nope, charged maul, nirhoned bow, precise resto, two infused lightning staffs, two healing daggers (lol) and two sets of s&b with horrible traits.

Two not so bad items. Doing 1 run per day since homestead release. Trying to get that flawless run, but still die to random mechanics, with best run 3 deaths to mobs rounds...

Since the patch I've done vMA only twice but I got a sharpened dagger (the other 1h weapon was crap) and a sharpened 2h maul. Not bad but well... my char is magicka

I did two runs yesterday to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of my first vMA clear. I got 1x sharp dagger, 1x sharp axe... on my alt account that has zero stamina characters. And on my main account, I got 2x precise daggers. And last week, I got a pair of DW weapons and a sword-and-board.

Still haven't seen any destros.

It's not a lot of data points. Them making DW weapons drop in pairs is nice if you're stamina, but destro staves still elude me.

I've run it twice since homestead. first one on first day to get the Behemoth bust, got a charged Bow. 2nd time on a new character, Precise Resto staff. (so nothing changed from my perspective...still got so many bows and staves.)

The only reason i say it's worthless (to me) is because i've had so many friggin resto drops

Aw, well if you have a BSW or Moondancer sharpened inferno, the hate can be mutual, since I've been looking for those for some time now But yes, that was a very lucky drop, I was thrilled! I had gotten a precise lighting staff after my fist clear, so I have no complains about lightning staves (and also restoration ones, in my case).

2. 1x Resto: Decisive
