Something is very wrong with new group finder

    Group finder was pretty bad for me last night.

    I crashed a couple of times once everyone had confirmed and we were being ported to the dungeon (Specific dungeon - CoA2 vet). This happened to one other member of the group.

    Second time was a random dungeon (Volenfell) Group formed up ok, however when we got ported in all of us immediately got kicked. We queued again and second time and got in ok. Once we had completed the dungeon I checked random dungeon screen the 101k bonus was still in place, others in the group had the same. Also none of us could leave the group at the end despite selecting the leave group option.

    So, no fix for the dungeon finder yet ? I usualy play solo and i like to que from time to time and get some things fast.

    You fixed the que , now fix the port and the rewards also.

    I don't know if I am the only one having a different problem with the group finder, but I tried to get a group last night and queued as a tank.

    The first time it popped saying I had found a group as heals. Granted I DID have that selected earlier, but I deselected it before queuing as a tank. I verified this. It only did it once, so maybe just a one off.

    After that, I got my tank queue. Only, the DPS did not accept the party and it timed out, but I got stuck in limbo. The game did not proceed to find more DPS for heals and me. It sat there. When I went to dungeon finder, the join group button was grayed out. I was not in a group of any sort, so I could not leave group. I had to relog to fix then problem. Then I could click it again.

    Ran LFG, group popped for vet CoA 2, really don't have time for that as leaving for a meeting soonish. So left the group. Ran LFG tool again (as an experiment) and it tells me, "You have queued too recently. You can queue again in 59m and 27s". It's genuinely counting down one hour before letting me queue again.

    It really is most unlike ZOS to release a patch then have to patch the patch 2 days later to fix all the stuff the first patch broke.

    Missed already 3 group offer for ready check canceled, group is not viable as Dps

    But the worst for me is that after accepting the 1st group offer, it was silence and silence, and i was wondering if the group was really going on, if i hit the wrong key, if i should do a reloadui as nothing was popping on my screen (as before) and then after even leaving the game to be sur, i come back to find me out of GF for 1 hour ......

    Not really a progress ....

    Guys just accept that it is broken and will stay this way for 6+ months....

    This happened many times before and anyone who complained had their thread deleted/locked or were told endlessly "we will fix it next patch" and it never got fixed...

    This is ZOS...

    I forgotten how many times I posted about broken LFG Tool....

    It's pointless to even expect it to work anymore...ever...

    Allow me to disagree .... sur there is still bugs on the game, but they do work and dont ignore us. Yes i can be frustated as of now, more by the houses recipes that my crafter can not learn than this Group finder.

    They did quite something very good with this new patch and even me mad and angry can not doubt of them.

    May be i am an eternal optimistic or too old LOL

    I had mixed results with the pugfinder yesterday. On my healer I got a group for CoA1, ported in then immediately got a message saying I got a group for ICP, and the whole group got sucked out of coa. I abandoned group and left before seeing how it played out.

    On a DPS I got a group for a random vet and got ported into VoM. The whole time I kept getting notification that I have been placed into a group, with the accept/decline prompt, but dismissing it allowed me to proceed normally. It seriously popped up 20-25 times during the run. On completion, I did get a reward mail with a junk piece as expected (training Endurance greatsword)

    Hhumm thanks for the info but that was not my problem at all :)))

    My problem is that GF dont let any group pass further than ready check canceled, group is not viable.

    And if i may please please tell us you have a fix very soon for the all the recipes that a low level character but max crafter can not learn please please please

    I was able to get into some groups with the group finder, but I noticed the way it puts the group together has changed. Not sure if its intended or new.

    Before patch - it says "Your group for whatever dungeon is ready now" press to teleport,

    After Patch - it prompts me with a ready check but does not tell me for which dungeon. then it does a role check, and multiple times it will say "group not viable" then prompt another ready check. Till finally a group is formed, but it still does not tell me for which dungeon until suddenly I am teleported without warning to a dungeon without telling me where im going. I hope this isnt the new way of forming groups, I preferred the old way.

    As of late last night, these are the issues I have discovered with group finder:

    1) We had a full formed group, all roles properly selected, selected a specific dungeon (in this case we tried the vet pledges, EH2 and Volenfell), everybody hit Yes to ready, we waited a couple minutes and no dungeon was ever delegated to us.

    2) Got on my stam sorc, decided to go for a random normal, didn't have any members with me, the dungeon ready check appeared, everybody entered the dungeon, and as soon as we landed, the "removing from area" timer appeared, and we were all booted from the dungeon.

    3) The issue with "@XXX has disbanded the group" still persists, this also happened with my friend who was queueing for a random on his healer, he got ready check, hit yes, a few second later the notification in top right appeared saying the leader has disbanded the group.

    I'm sure there are other specific issues, but these are the 3 that I personally experienced. IMO the whole system needs revamped, implement something much different, allow players to just put a LFG (looking for group) tag up that other members can view and send out whispers to form groups. Groups with some members can also put up a LFM (looking for members) tag that can be viewed by individuals or the partial group can view the LFG members. The whole randomly select and delegate classes etc is just not enough. Need more control while still having the utilization of the dungeon finder tool.

    Hey guys, just want to let you know that we are aware of the rewards not being sent and are working on getting it fixed.

    This has been an issue for a long time (6 months plus). What happens is, you join a random dungeon, and when the group would form, it would essentially double queue. It would make the noise twice, the group window would appear, then flash and reappear, with one of the members being replaced with a new one, and a message would appear in top right saying the leader had disbanded the group. When that would occur, random dungeon completion credit is not awarded at end, UNLESS you were originally delegated the leader of the group, in which case the random completion credit (and subsequent reward mail) worked. Sounds complex but thats exactly what has been happening for a long time. With the new changes, maybe this issue has been resolved, but doubtful, probably just shows up in a slightly different way.

    All this does is waste my time. Hiding the dungeon and force teleporting me to it isnt going to make me do it. I will still quit group anyways. I really hope this is just a bug and will get fixed.

    Had more dreadful experiences with the new LFG this evening, ZOS seem to have truly broken it.

    The thing people refer to as The Midas Touch, well the ZOS development team have the complete opposite. Everything they touch just turns to garbage.

    Since the patch, replacing dropped members has not worked whenever this has been needed. Doesn't matter if they leave, DC, get kicked, it simply does not replace the member even though you ask it to.

    I raised a ticket with ZOS, like that's going to go anywhere.

    It doesnt teleport you when it forms the group which can be p`roblematic for random dungeon

    I queued for few dungeons today. Every time when group was ready I wasn't actually in group, but I was getting around 100 notifications per second, my fps went from 60 to 7 :o

    I ran a normal dungeon yesterday without problem.

    Then someone left group, so we have to find replacement.

    The new replacement was fine, but one thing important is that he is invisible to me?
    My other teammate say they can see him.

    The health bar on his head indicates that he is beneath ground lol
    It is lucky I'm not healer, so an invisible teammate won't affect my role.

    More DF woes last night.

    Grouped up with another player for nICP farm and queued us to find the other two. Got ported to the dungeon with another two and then the other two got kicked immediately.

    So there are now just two of us in the dungeon, I tried to find replacements and had the 15 minute queued too recently timer so had to abandon the dungeon.

    Yea I was having an issue with a full group, but it was easily fixed by me traveling to the dungeon, anyways just wanted to add I love the new system but my only complaint is you cannot see the dungeon or group before you accept, I think that would be better.

    This 'underground' issue occurrred prior to the patch also.

    It's good to know you could replace missing members, as I've not been able to make that happen since the patch. Perhaps a coincidence.

    Had an issue yesterday where I qued but the group had 5 players in it so i couldn't jump in, voted to kick one and it passed so I popped in lol ohh group finder.
