Something is very wrong with new group finder

Oh well, same issues tonight. Random queue pops immediately for me as a tank, Ready Check twice over, then permanent message saying 'group forming', then nothing.

As usual the response from ZOS is lack lustre.

I ran a normal dungeon yesterday without problem.

Then someone left group, so we have to find replacement.

The new replacement was fine, but one thing important is that he is invisible to me?
My other teammate say they can see him.

The health bar on his head indicates that he is beneath ground lol
It is lucky I'm not healer, so an invisible teammate won't affect my role.

That's an old bug that has been around for months. Whenever it happens a relog fixes it: either the replacement if he's invisible to everyone or the one person who can't see him if everyone else can needs to relog.

And it's also a functional bug: you can't rez anyone who looks invisible to you.

It should suffice for the person "in the ground" to travel to one of his group members; everyone in your group should be able to see him afterwards. Still annoying, but at least quicker than a relog...

Let me share my experience on group finder also. Yesterday i wanted to do the daily random for xp bonus. As a magicka templar with some healing skills i choose DD and healer roles.

1st issue found a healer role for normal spindle II crashed when teleporting. Couldn't log in for a few minutes. Discovered i got kicked when i finally loged in and have to wait 11 minutes before i have to try again.

2nd issue again found a role this time normal WGT as healer. Crashed when teleporting. Fortunatelly this time group members were nice enough to wait a few more minutes before kicking me so i went in to dungeon.

3rd issue. When in dungeon one of our DD went afk. We wait him but no coming back so we kicked him. When we used group finder for a replacement no success. Can you imagine we couldnt find a DD and had to compete the dungeon 3 man and all that time the group finder was up.

4th issue while at the final boss. (i must admit this one isnt about group finder but still irritating). While killing the four adds i crashed(again) and again it took me a while to log in. When i loged in i apologized my group mates and one responded "you crashed too". It turned out all the group members(3 of us) crahsed at the exact same time.

Seriously 4 issue in 1 hr is extremely annoying. I hope some if not all are fixed soon.

    On XB1, similar issue.

When I queue solo, I get relatively short queues, typically under 5 minutes. However, when my wife and I play together in party, the queue will last for at least an hour. It may last longer, but after an hour or so one of us will usually have become frozen or disconnected (thanks, "this may be an unusually long load time" screen), so we get kicked out of queue, anyway. As often as we play together, it's a bit sad that we can almost never do the daily dungeon together. It's been a while since we could. A few weeks at least.

    Any help? Thanks

Please please please fix the group finder, it's making the game unplayable right now.

Multiple times last night the game:

    - crashed when selecting a dungeon and queueing
    - crashed when getting ported to a dungeon once the group had formed
    - group formed and ported in ok only for everyone to be kicked

This is my finding, the Finder will not replace anyone mid-dungeon, as you say, even DD's (who usually get found immediately) do not get replaced, so I end up 3 manning many dungeons. Sure, this can be done but it's doing to take more time and the reason I used Finder is to just quickly run my daily random.

The Homestead patch has been a letdown from my perspective - it introduced something very boring and broke the things I like - so I think I'm going to give ESO a break until I read on here that they've patched the patch, which is inevitable with ZOS.

A response from ZOS on the many LFG issues (I see they've acknowledged some earlier in the thread) would be nice, but is probably unlikely given their increasingly anti-consumer nature.
