    @ZOS_GinaBruno , do we have any kind of update or ETA on the crash report screen issue for Windows PC that has been going on since the first day of this patch on the PTS, that is now live making it so we cannot log into game?

    so if we are on PC/EU then the game is currently down still as of 12:22 pm EST? (for the record I'm getting "error 6" and my game is crashing before the log in screen so I can't see server messages)

    I was running the 64-bit client. Just tried changing it, and get the same thing.

    Huh. I just tried this. Turned off the "enable 64-bit client" and the game DID NOT crash. It made it through the intro promo screens for ZOS, Behtesda etc, and now I've been sitting on a screen with the gear turning, waiting for character selection screen to appear for... maybe 5 or 6 minutes.

    Update: I am in game and it seems to be running normally. using 32-bit client.

    Noob question: what's the difference? can I just play on the 32-bit client normally? :P

    I could use this still missing update manually.

    It is explained multiple times now, even Gina posted a solution on page 1. Go and look for it. Don't forget rebooting

    My Win 8.1 professional 64 Bit wasn´t full patched. But still one patch was missing after I did all microsoft updates.

    After my win was up to date I could use the missing patch manually. now it runs .....

    Just to clarify...there are multiple issues being discussed in this thread.

    The Crash Reporter issue upon pressing "Play" is still unresolved and has no work-around that I have yet to see.

    MC C++ does even install? Why do these game updates seem to require such major surgery of the MC operating system to get the game to run??

    MC C++ is one of your missing updates. DO ALL missing updates and then use my link.

    If error states that api-ma-win-crt-heap-l1-1-0.dll is missing, download and run the following update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226

    If MSVCP140.dll is missing, download and run this update: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

    After running all updates, please reboot your PC for the changes to take effect.

    You done that + reboot?

    I'm not getting any kind of error message, I just log in and get an infinite loading screen before character select. Not sure what the problem is...
