Ideas for ESO Plus

    Suggestion for 2018:
Make ESO Plus value based as well as option value based for non subscribers in tiers.

Part 1: (actual subscription based benefits)
30 day, 60 day, 90 day and 120 day tiers
-All tiers follow a 30-120 day timeframe
-Tiers are based upon the price, doubling-quadruple benefits based on actually renewing.

If you’re going to keep a subscription, there should be a value based incentive aligned with a “subscription” separately than paying for benefits.

For customers who remain active beyond 30, 60, 90 and 120 days, their benefits should double, triple and quadruple. This would mean benefits like exp% or gold% as well as research timers reduction should increase. Keep it simple and straight forward but as is, you’re going to have to keep adding things unless you enhance the existing benefits.

    -More bank slots
    -more exp
    -more gold
    -more housing storage
    -less research time
-maybe at 120 days you give crowns
    -other unannounced benefits

    Part 2: (One time-subscriber)

For customers who may subscribe and then stop continue the current benefits.

    Part 3: (Non-subscriber)

Due to establishing tiered benefits for subscribers, the non-subscriber who is a crown purchase customer should have options to buy outright some benefits but not all.

    Optional benefits via crowns:
    -Limited crafting bag access
-Crafting bag upgrade to X slots you determine, maybe 120 (only using that due to common inventory upgrade tiers)
-Limited bank space upgrade tiers up to 120
-1 costume dye per character item
    -Housing slot upgrades

The non-subscriber for whatever reasons, shouldn’t be cut out of all features you’ve added, but I don’t think they should get the full unlimited access or benefits the subscriber gets.

The way your system is set up, it’s become a pull and tug but seems to lack an opportunity for the company to engage with customers who prefer to subscribe as well as non-subscribers. While the direction changes each year, this suggestion is an attempt to further extend meaningful benefits to the subscriber as well as to encourage and involve the non-subscriber.

The only thing they could do to ESO+ to make me happier is change the housing item limit from a 2x to a 3-4x. Ied sub for 6 months tomorrow if they did that.
Quality of life changes that desperately need to happen in order make ESO Better for everyone!
Forget new content for awhile & forget adding new DLC, this is a list of what is actually needed in the game.
1: Change the ESO+ Housing item limit from 2x to 3x. (preferably 4x)
2: Add a working Exit wayshrine item for housing.
(Needs to be added as a special achievement item for finding all wayshrines in the game, & should use the same slots & operate the exit shrines in cyro, where you cant port to them but you can use them to leave the house and go anywhere u want)
3: Add a GUILD Banker & Store NPC for housing.
(willing to pay 5k crowns if it does both Or 2.5k crowns each if they split them and have 2 Npcs(1 for each banker/store))
4: Add Writ boards and Writ Drop-off's for housing.
(willing to pay 2.5k crowns for each board+1k crowns per Drop off box=11k total crowns
5: Cut the crown price of Mundus stones IN HALF, and refund the difference in crowns to the few people who have already bought them.
(If Zo$ was my dog, ied roll up a news paper and smack you in the nose repeatedly for this. 4k per stone x13 stones? what were you thinking?!!
6: Multi Attuneable crafting stations. (this one change will solve so many issues with item limits. Make it so you have to 'feed' existing attuned tables to the new station to unlock its drop down effects. This kills 2 birds with 1 stone.)
7: Change the amount of transmutation gems needed to change a trait from 50 to 10, Increase the drop rates of all Geode sources by 10x.
8: Release more crafting recipes in the game for housing, Dark elf bed of coals/Outdoor and indoor fires/Orcish Column Brazier/Imperial Forge/Beehives/Grape vinyards/smaller greenhouse than the one currently ingame (half the size), We know they are already in the game. These were on the original housing PTS then like 60% of the good stuff disappeared when housing hit the live server.
9: ESO+ life time membership option.
10: Permanent craft bag unlock for crowns.
11: REMOVE BIND ON PICKUP FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT QUEST ITEMS! PLZ ABOLISH THIS TRASH RESTRICTION!!! Change all current non quest BOP items to BOE. PvPers don't like being forced to run pve for gear, and pve-ers don't like being forced to run pvp for their gear either. The solution is so simple let people run the content they like and trade their drops on the open market..
12: Add New Fishing rods that you can unlock with bonuses for catching rate fish. spending 6 hours trying to get ONE blue fish using all of the buffs currently available is cancer, especially when you have to do this for 12 fish per zone times 40+ zones. In-fact just overhaul fishing totally and make it like Farcry 5 where you KNOW exactly which holes and locations the each of the rares will spawn. Make the T2 bait ACTUALLY & NOTICEABLY WORK, and combine it with better rods & better fishing related food buff so we can just reel in the rare fish like crazy. Even with all that its still gonna take a week or more of grinding to get all the fish, but thats better than a LITERAL FREAKING YEAR of fishing just for a housing boat item that doesn't even do anything...
13: Playable Games inside houses (basically just make all the decorative game furnishings actually intractable so we can play against other players. This would give a nice bump to housing utility and community building, RPers would also probably appreciate this).
14: A 'Port to Guild House' Option on the main guild page.
15: Add Functional Things to housing/guild halls that your guild can contribute to unlock as a group effort. An example of stuff would be like a 5% damage buff during overland content for all guild members, or buffs for dungeons/trails. Another example would be unlock tokens for people with super hard to get achievements like someone with the grand master fisher, they could donate a token to the guild that unlocks usable fishing plots inside the guild that the GM/House owner could place down. This would then let people travel to the guild hall and collect a Daily account Limit from housing harvesting nodes. Nothing crazy that would break the economy, just like 30 or so resources from each daily harvest able nodes for each of the skills. It would be even better if they were special enhanced versions of the normal ore/wood etc. that gave a refining bonus for tempers like double the chance to get tempers. (double the chance to get tempers on such a small amount of resources wouldn't actually make a big impact on economy, but the COOL factor would be off the charts so i see no reason why this couldn't be done).
16: Solo Dungeons, Much like solo trials this would be a 1 person equivalent of a 4 person dungeon. It would be even cooler if you could have your new companion NPC come with you on these, but we will have to see how good that companion system is first.

Some things deserve repeating, so I will chime in for a furniture bag (like the crafting bag), but to help housing enthusiasts keep furniture organised and not taking up space in inventory and bank.

Subscriber loyalty rewards. A unique costume here. A pet there. Maybe even a sweet mount for long-term subscription. Maybe allows subs to choose their reward. For example at three months you can choose between a costume or a personality. At six months between a rare furnishing or a rare mount etc. But unique items not previously in the crown store.

I would like to see a blanket crown store discount of at least 25% for subscribers. Or make it tiered

1 month sub = 10% crown store discount
3 month sub = 20% crown store discount
6 month sub = 30% crown store discount
12 month sub = 50% crown store discount

OR offer crowns at a reduced cost to subscribers.

1 month sub = 10% off crown purchases
3 month sub = 20% off crown purchases
6 month sub = 30% off crown purchases
12 month sub = 50% off crown purchases

Those numbers are for example. But the bottom line is that the crown store feels like a gouge when none of this content is offered in game, but moreso to players who subscribe.

If you goal is to make money through the crown store almost exclusively, you need to seriously sweeten the deal to people who COMMIT to your game through subsciptions.

We need a furniture bag added to the craft bag.I am subscriber for almost a year and after creating 15 characters and having acquired the merchant/banker npc I find less and less the need to be a plus sub anymore. Please add the option for plus member to be able to store their furniture in their craft bag.Right now I have to store all my purchased furniture in new homes and use them as a storage unit..This not only affect me as a customer but it has a major impact on the performance of your servers as well,as it creates an unnecessary data burden to it.

Reduced research time would be nice, I'm currently waiting 13 days to complete a crafting writ because I didn't realise the research scrolls only took a day off...

I don't know where to post this,

I want to move to PC but I'm unwilling to because I'd lose my account. I've plugged hundreds of hours into this game and I'm flatly not restarting. This means when I do move to PC there is a high probability I'm going to just stop playing and cancel my sub.

If I could transfer my account across platform that would make me very happy. I'd happily pay £50 to be able to do it. I recall PC users being allowed to transfer to console for a brief time then it stopped. Surely it is doable, firm believer in where there's a will there's a way. My feeling is Zenimax just don't want to open a box of worms to people taking the ***. Premium pricing would solve that. I recall there has been an explanation of why the won't do it, but it was pretty pissweak and seemed a copout more than anything else.

Perhaps one of the least favorable elements of the subscription platform to me is that you lose access to everything if you quit being subscribed. I think that in addition to the standard allotment of crowns, there should be some kind of special DLC crowns that you also get. So maybe each month you are subscribed you get 1500 crowns for anything in the crown store and you get another 500 that can only be applied towards DLC purchases.

This way over time, long term subscribers would feel rewarded for their loyalty in that if they ever unsubscribed they would at least still have access to most if not all of what they have enjoyed in the past, but also losing access to new content moving forward.

Some would say just purchase with the regular crowns, but I believe many players to be too impulsive to have that kind of discipline. This would in a sense protect them from themselves. They can still go get the latest pet or whatever and have a "savings account" of sorts that can only be spent on DLC content.

Sidenote: I quit subscribing after getting 1 year tiger. The system above would however be very tempting to me if it were implemented.

Not sure how many times it has been mentioned before but doubling the number of guilds you can contribute to for ESO+ subscribers would make a lot of sense. Unlike horse training or exp scrolls it would be useful to end-game players. If your ESO+ subscription lapses you would keep guilds based on the date you joined them.

Another possibility would be doubling the number of slots for trading from 30 to 60 for ESO+ members. This way either you do not need to join so many trading guilds to sell your excess stuff or, for crafters, a greater chance to specialise (in Dark Elf furniture or Hundings armour for instance). Guilds that can attract the most active of traders would also benefit from higher turnover. If your ESO+ subscription lapses you would keep the most recent items. The others would be returned to you like when you leave a guild now.

    Just a couple of ideas.

ESO Plus already offers reduced research time by 10%. Maybe a boost to that is what you mean? 20%? 25%?

I like the idea of additional guilds for ESO Plus members, but I don't know how many would use it. Also, I doubt they know when someone joined a guild, and it might be more friendly to allow the player to pick which 5 to keep.

i want a yearly subscription for 360 days with another opportunity to get the senche tiger or other teir rewards that ppl missed out on in loyalty rewards....it doesnt have to be every year...but maybe subbing for the year of a tiered annaversary. 5th, 10th,15th, etc to get one of these would be nice...ive been here since original launch but missed out on the rewards after ice wraith. was too poor :/

also an offtopic request but related to crown store. a article about how much it takes to run the game and how much it takes to pay your employees. and where money goes in general...there is so much hate on crown crates and overinflated prices for crown store stuff and i cant help the feeling that this money is actually being put to good use like....tes6 engine but a statement would be nice...to put perspective on what its like running an mmo and making these design decisions. nothing is worse than a divided community...i want to see unity here or something close :)

Like to see Personal bank space go up to 500 and Guilds be able to buy up to 1000.

With so many new armors, housing items an such added to the game the space options are not keeping up. The change hopefully would keep up with new development in the future.

This provides additional gold sink and opportunities for additional sale of Crowns which keeps marketing happy for the change. Adds value to the ESO plus membership as they double their bank space, so brings them to 1000. Both Personal and Guild needs to have a Gold or Crown option available, but the Gold option needs to have a max cap and not keep increasing, really up to the Devs and marketing to decide on that cap. I realize that the increase is there to encourage crown sales but having too much gold increase loses community goodwill.

Would not mind seeing a Crown option and Gold option to buy a weeks worth of Stable training. Nothing game breaking about being able to set a weeks worth at a time if you can afford it gold or crown wise.

I know my wife and a few others would like a option to change username. Even if it was a paid in crowns service choice and limited time use in x amount of time. Crowns and time limit would cut down on frivolous use of the change, yet allow those to make a change from a bad choice. (i.e. having use a real name, not realizing that all can see it in game.) In my wife's case she thought it was just used for signin. (explain this better to new accounts on creation) Found in the Support FAQ how to change the username, was changed Fall of 2017.

ESO+ subscribers should have the gold cost negated for Outfit changing.

Much like the expanded freedom that the Costume Dyeing system allows for us, the Outfit system should be easier on the wallet (in-game or out) for subscribers. Buying extra slots would still be desirable even for subscribers so that we can conveniently switch between a few tried-and-true looks, but letting us alter our outfits without the gold cost would let us experiment more and really let this system shine! Merely giving an extra slot for subscribers would not help in that regard.

You can max out your stable training in a few minutes with crowns right now, riding lessons are sold in stacks of 10 for 1,000 crowns. I do like the idea of being able to buy more than one day with gold, though. Instead of making people pay 250g a day for six months, let them pay 45,000g up front, per character. It would take more gold out of the economy, with people who may or may not be playing in six months spending in advance, and encouraging people to craft, steal, or find other ways to make coin.

I got a book of ideas. Sorry if someone has come up with any of these ideas before me. I have not read through others ideas.
    1. ESO+ quests: daily, Weekly, and monthly. Of course getting harder and harder. However could work just like Undunted pledges. Maybe Monthly giving one Crown Crate. weekly and daily giving various amounts of gems. Or different and special rewards.
    2. Extra Quest slots. Id say an extra 5-10 slots.
    3. Login rewards. Might be a stretch because if this was a thing i feel like it shouldn't be ESO+ locked. Unless ESO+ members get extra rewards that non ESO+ players get.
    4. Login Milestones. Every so many logins would give you an exclusive reward. long enough for you guys to create the next milestone.
    5. Extra card. Crown crates would give one extra loot.
    6. Exclusive Loot. Maybe some how you can get crow gems without purchase of a crate. I wouldn't say much unless you get really lucky.
    7. Crown Merchant: access to a new merchant where they could sell vaulted or just random crown items at a high gold cost. With maybe a weekly rotation.
    8. Crown store discounts or maybe ESO+ exclusive crown items. Nothing too big to make it seem kinda unfair to people that don't buy ESO+.
    9. Mount accessories. Maybe changing the style of your mounts saddle or dying the armor.
    10. Early Dlc access. Maybe get access to the DLCs a day to a week before releas.
    11. Maybe something for people that own the dlc and have ESO+. A key factor of ESO+ becomes useless to those people. Idk what it could be, maybe 10% more exp in that area or an extra daily in that area. something for people that spent money on the DLCs and on monthly ESO+.
    12. Extra Market space. ESO+ members maybe get 40 slots in the guild markets instead of 30.
    13. ♥♥♥ Face Paint and Hair dye ♥♥♥

I would like to vote against a few ideas. First off, the ESO+ bonuses should be of help to EVERYONE with ESO+.

Bag for unlimited furnishings would not help me at all since I have no desire for a house. This seems like a pretty major upgrade and for it to be something that would have zero impact on myself or anyone else who doesn't want to mess around with housing seems awfully unfair.

Changing research time to 25%, the problem here is a lot of ESO+ members already have maxed crafting so a 25% increase would again not help us at all. Again the bonuses need to be something helps ALL ESO+ members not just those still raising their crafting.

Plz do not give out rewards that were suppose to be exclusive to a previous event or timeframe it was on sale in the store. It ruins it for those that purchased or got the item at the time it was available. One time items should stay that way.

Plz do not make the game P2W which means don't give extra materials in game for ESO+. We can get bonus material by getting our crafting up so lets end that there.

My biggest thing would be what someone else mentioned, let ESO+ members prepay a certain amount to upgrade whichever stat they want. I don't want to get the stat early so I am not asking to pay a ton up front and get max instant speed, if anyone wants to do that they can buy the upgrades in the crown store. What I am asking is let me pay 2500g in the game and know that for 10 days the game will autoupgrade whichever stat I choose, or let me pay the max for all 3 abilities and know it will upgrade 1 of them every day til all 3 are maxed if I payed enough gold.

Maybe increase the amount of crowns we get each month since the pricing is getting high in the store, or give a 25% discount to ESO+ members in the store.

Maybe every 3-6 months of subbing you might get a free name or race change or both, a token or something.

I am an ESO+ member and I really don't want this to become a P2W thing. Right now the crafting bag is a HUGE help to just about everyone who plays, but keep in mind players like myself don't care about outfits or housing or cosmetic items in ANY way so lease don't ruin ESO+ by offering things that would not offer us anything, it needs to help everyone like the points do. We can spend the points however we want which is nice. Add points instead of housing bag or outfit changes or whatever.
