People subscribed on the promise that we would get quarterly DLC.

We havent. Instead, some of that time, and some of that subscription money, has gone to make this special "DLC" that cannot be purchased in the same way by the people that helped pay for it.

If you don't see that as morally bankrupt your compass is broken.

I see no promise in that statement. I don't feel betrayed by ZOS on this at all. I have subbed from the start, get access to DLCs, crowns and a craft bag. If this release were another TG,BD or SOTH yeah I would be mad. But from my understanding this has much more content. New class, more areas and such. What ZOS has done with my money is add content, QoL improvements, festivals and such. I wonder what the actual cost of 1T was, not content but major QoL improvements for the majority of players.

As far as the op no need to apologize to me. I found a value in what I pay for. And as value is subjective there is no wrong answer to any of this. Is it worth the money to you or not. That's the only question that needs to be asked. I still find value for my sub, I will happily buy the expansion and continue to sub. Others may not feel the same, and that doesn't make them wrong. They will do what is best for them. It's not my job to convince them one way or the other. It's your money, spend it how you see fit, but there is no need for pity, I spend my money willingly for something that I enjoy.

These attempts at belittling either side of the argument are childish at best. Why does anyone care how i spend my money. I know I don't care how you spend yours. It seriously shouldn't be this hard people. Find value buy it, no value don't buy it. Find something else to spend your money on that will bring you value for said monies.

I never subscribed and never will. Saved a ton of money never subscribing + bought all the content separate.

Interesting. Kindly explain how buying DLC separately and a) not with free crowns given every month of subscription or b) not purchasing DLC at all but using it "for free" with the subscription has saved you money.

    Your question was phrased oddly.

I've been playing for about 2 years.

    24 x $15 = $360

No way I came near that even with purchasing mounts on the side. They have sales on crowns in which they are half price...

With the money I saved I think I'm gonna buy the physical Collectors Edition of Morrowind.

There are people that said they have been subbed for 3 years.... That would work out to $540.

The question is extremely clear, yet I said nothing about purchasing mounts or other trinkets such as that. I actually only mentioned DLC. Also, purchasing six month or yearly ESO subscriptions comes with a very nice discount, so your math is a bit off.

This included DLC, Mounts, Buying the gold edition for other people on steam and I still saved money from not being subbed.

Lol. Just do the math. The copies of gold purchased on steam for friends were 29.99 per.

Math. Sure. ESO+ sub for a year comes to a little over $150. A subscriber gets a discount in bulk. Three years of ESO+ is not even a full $500. Let's say you're being honest, and did buy the Gold Edition for "friends," since it's vague for arguements sake we'll assume that's three people. Gold Edition on Steam is $60. You may have meant Tamriel One with that $29 price, but who knows. That's $180 gifting ESO to friends. Then, you bought mounts (again, let's assume it was only three mounts). Those range in price, but we can assume they were between 2000 and 4000 crowns. That brings you to around $240 total spent. You also bought DLC separately (a subscription would allow you to use all the DLC all the time for only $150 a year). The Imperial City Edition alone is 2100 crowns. Then for simplicity's sake, maybe you bought the Guilds and Glory pack of DLC for $60. You have now exceeded $300 in stuff bought from ZOS. And that's way more than the $90 I have ever spent on ESO including my subscription, and I have completed 100% of DLC content. Unless you have some alternative facts, you spent more than I did.
