These prices are crazy if they want to have Crown Store-exclusive housing. That's a content paywall as far as I'm concerned.

Why are people surprised about the prices?
ZoS sells reskinned senches, horses and wolves on the CS for DLC price or more and people still buy them, those prices are obviously working for them.
As long as this ''overpriced'' stuff is purely cosmetical and doesn't gives in game benefits, does it really matter?

And then when it's all done it's an empty hollow shell just like the rest of the buildings in eso.

I do suspect I am going to need to let go of any dreams of owning Earthtear Cavern as it seems unlikely it's going to be in my price range.
@Oreyn_Bearclaw They said they hadn't set the 'furnished' prices yet.
I don't see why it matters. People pay in different currencies.HeroOfNone wrote: »I feel I need to discuss this "100 dollar" myth. The cost is not $100 dollars, your assuming you 100 crowns are valued at $1. Stop that.

Keep in mind to zenimax, this value could be even lower, as they probably sell ESO plus crowns at a discount given the other features you get with that.
Seems about what I was expecting. Considering the manors are 3.7mil gold they needed to add a reasonably high price to keep it balanced.
3.5 million isn't hard to acquire in game... That being said it's COSMETIC. I encourage Zos to keep finding their business with ideas like this. Keeps not content coming and the audience's attention alive. Good job Zos.

I was expecting the manor houses to be around that price range, but it is a tad crazy when you think that it is the price for the unfurnished home. There is a ton of space in those three.
That being said I'm going to guess that the furnished prices for the most expensive are going to be upwards of 15,000 crowns.
Either way it looks like I won't be getting one anytime soon, gold or crowns.
@NewBlacksmurf when I wrote balance I actually deleted it as it wasn't really saying what I wanted, but then put it back as I couldn't think of a better word.
Generally game balance or gold/crowns balance it doesn't matter no, there is no balance per say. I mean more erm... ugh I don't know, keeping a somewhat consistent ratio of crown to challenge to gain in game? If that makes any sense.
Sorry I am crashing (coffee is wearing off) so can't think how to say what I want.

I am actually shocked the prices are that small. I thought for certain the manors would be 20k minimum. I am estaic to hear 10k....I don't really care if it is furnished or not. Decorating the thing is the fun part for me.
