Hello,
The ability Teleport strike & it's morphs allows the player to get inside enemy keeps.
When this ability is being used on a player who use the gate or postern gate of a keep, the enemy player can teleport inside.
This shouldn't happen and it is an exploit.
The enemy player may only enter a keep if a section of a wall or gate is down, any other methods are exploits.
I believe that fixing this bug is of high priority.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom It would be very much appreciated if you will give an ETA for a possible fix of this bug-exploit.
This is not a new bug and it needs to be fixed as soon as possible, a lot of people exploit it.
I report them but it doesn't solve this issue nor prevent it from reoccuring.
I have opened many tickets about this exploit by using the ingame command /bug, but it's still bugged and it was bugged for a very long time.
Please fix it.

you do realize only a nightblade can do this, and it is an accident if he does it.
it's not intentional, and we nightblades are extremely squishy [weakest survivability of all the classes] and will immediatly Die from being infront of a group of enemies while we are stuck inside your keep.
we cant survive this type of exposure.
in addition to all of that this is not a new thing, this has been going on since beta years ago.

It doesn't change the fact it needs to be fixed.
It is an exploit.
Today a nightblade exploited his way into a keep by targeting my character and using ambush.
Guess what ?
He escaped the 2 other players in the main courtyard and killed 4 other players on top of the walls.
The players he killed were using siege so they were clueless to the fact a nightblade is inside.
How can they be aware of his presence if he shouldn't be inside the keep unless a section of wall or the gate itself are down ?
I suggest to stop defending this exploit, but instead bring it out to the open so it will be fixed.

It has been out in the open for quite some time, as previously stated. Intentionally exploiting it is a bannable offense.

None that we have been made aware of. They simply may not have a working fix for it that doesn't completely break it.

I encountered this bug twice in just 1 hour today.
This bug is very common and it occurs when using this ability at the same time when someone uses a gate/postern gate either at a keep/outpost.

This bug is years old and yet you have not fixed it.
Can you please fix it in the near future ?

Yeah, its been around for years. Would be really hard to say someone intentionally does it or not. Usually happens when someone ran out to try to get some kills or fell off a wall and are frantically trying to get back in and meanwhile a NB is trying to kill them. I've done it before a few times and have always tried to get right back out.

Whenever I see it happen, I usually judge based on how that NB reacts. If they try to leave or they stand and die, I figure it was an accident.

DK chains work similar, so if they're gonna fix teleport strikes then they should also fix chains.

This is now a Buff NB thread !

NB are underperforming cause they will instantly die from being infront of a group of enemies, I mean, it's not like they could cloak away and kill enemies 1 by 1.

Anyone heard about Bomblade ? Nhaaaa they are bad, and with the balorgh monster set they will be even weaker.

Also Buff sload and don't fix exploit lel.

This is not an exploit!
Here's the deal:

Assume there's a battle going on outside your keep and you need to be inside, like 'right now!' You race toward the entrance with the enemy close on your heals. As you approach the door you start spamming 'E' hoping to make it safely inside before you get hit from behind.
Possible outcomes:
[*] you are lucky and make it safely inside;
[*] as you press 'E,' you simultaneously get ambushed from behind, you make it inside but with only a sliver of health left;
[*] as you press 'E,' you simultaneously get ambushed from behind which causes you to be in 'combat status', thus preventing you from passing through the door ... the next thing you know you are staring at your death recap screen;
[*] as you press 'E', you simultaneously get ambushed from behind, the game glitches, and both you and your attacker are now inside. What happens next is up to you.

If you don't think you can take the guy on, you either:
[a.] Throw some caltrops on him, pew-pew him, run toward the guards and call for help in chat OR
[b.] Run to the teleport, port out ASAP, and let who ever is there deal with it.
THEN --> Complain on the forums about this horrible 'exploit'
But, if you CAN take this guy on:
Then just do it! Afterwards, log onto the forums and brag about how awesome you were!

Last time I did it, I was at Bleakers. I basically roll dodged and sprinted up the steps and ambushed targets in front to get through as fast as possible and jumped off the roof. I could see a couple of times where I easily could have killed one on siege and cloaked up.

The question then becomes if it still an accident, but you chose how to handle yourself differently; does it really change from accident to exploit; or is it just a question of character?

I dont think you know how to build a NB because compared to mag sorc they are equal in strength. That is why they are both on top of the pvp list.

I agree with @dwemer_paleologist ... NBs (especially stamblades) are built for short term, high-burst single-target damage, not sustained fighting, not fighting groups (stamblades have no class spammable AOE skills ... they are all magica based), our best 'heal' is Vigor, but that costs a lot and is not a burst heal. Our defense is mobility (roll dodging) and LOS (cloak) which typically means medium armor. However, our mobility and our ability to cloak is easily impaired.

Comparing NBs to Sorcs is like comparing apples to oranges. All classes are played differently ... they each have their strong points and weak points. Sorcs do much better with AOE damage and are much better at dealing sustained damage compared to NBs (who do better with single target burst damage).

As far as this 'pvp list' you speak of, I assume you mean leader boards ... however, comparing classes based on a leader board is not very logical since they (leader boards) make no distinction between the stamina/magica versions of a particular class (which are generally quite different from each other).

Its an exploit. Anything bypassing the need to siege down the walls to enter keeps is an exploit (including DK chaining over the walls or using the current invisible wall glitch). I choose not to report people if I think it was accidental given their response when it happens.

During the event ppl abused that "accident" and there is really no way to report the player as it happens 2 fast and he jumps from the shadows so he can say oh I was hiding in X spot even though everyone was using radiant mage light... it should be investigated and players that abused the bombing kills through keep doors being repaired should be punished. If it happened 1-5 times / hidden blade I do not mind but if same player did it 20-50 times he/she should get banned or at least stripped of all the AP he gathered.

Yes this was more common during the event.
Knowingly exploiting it is against the rules.
I hope that one day ZOS will be able to fix it.
