Move IC Entrance & Population out of Cyrodiil

    All 3 factions had 3 bar population in Scourge yesterday. AD had the map, except for the 3 home keeps of EP and DC. I can only guess a lot of the EP and DC players are in the sewers...again.

    IC really needs to be accessed outside of Cyrodiil via the docks on a boat. If you can get to Orsinium on a cart, then a boat would be appropriate since there's a river that runs to IC through AD territory.

    Cyrodiil population would truly represent above ground players actually playing in Cyrodiil just like it was prior to IC introduction.

    Couldn't agree more. As usual your posts about IC are spot on. Its a shame that we get battle grounds instead of a fully thought out IC. So much potential but little time invested by the Devs.

    So...in other words, you made an unqualified and sort of irrational assertion, (The IC entrance should just like...not be in the middle of Cyrodiil anymore, where the IC is located?!) then made a preemptive and disingenuous disclaimer that anyone who points out who stupid your post is, must be an "elitist troll" which makes your arguments, specious as they are, unfalsifiable.     For me the problem with IC is that there are simply not enough players in there anymore. It was a lot of fun when it was packed with players and you could die and respawn instantly, jump right back into the fight without riding your horse around.

    Some have complained about the NPCs, but I enjoy that the PVP is mixed up with tough PVE enemies running around. It was kinda hilarious when we were testing it on PTS with some insanely strong bosses and the swarm of scamps with proxy det, etc.

    I think pure PVE IC would become nothing more than a grinding area and drastically reduce the value of Tel Var stones if there were no players at all.

    Would be nice if we didn't have to ride our horse all the way to the IC entrance though. And I suspect Cyrodiil and IC will become even lower population after battlegrounds launch.

    One way to get people back into IC would be to make a new campaign that ports you directly to the IC sewer base with no keeps and no emperor. Also would like to see some double Tel Var weekend events from time to time and add golden vendor who sells monster helms for tel var stones.

    I believe the only intended integration was gated access so only players from one faction could enter at a time. This won't ever happen because ESO is a very casual game and such a function would exclude most players from accessing paid DLC at their convenience. Even if it wasn't paid DLC, the greater ESO community would not accept access restrictions.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler I seem to recall that you once wrote there were plans to separate IC and Cyrodiil. Are you able to shed any light on this?

    I don't think integrating it would work very well. Sure it would be good and would make sense if it wasn't a separate piece of paid content, per the original plan, but since it's paid DLC, integration is really unlikely to happen.
