Suggestion/Feedback for the Practice Dummy
- Health: 3 million feels a bit low. It's the same health as Blood Spawn, but Blood Spawn is not a very good test target (it's popular only because of the ease of reaching it). Please make the health 5 million (same health as Maw of the Infernal in BC2).
- Minor Slayer: It's unaffected by Minor Slayer. This makes it a bit harder to do comparative testing of different gear setups, but most importantly, Minor Slayer is not a strictly multiplicative 5% bonus but is instead a 5% bonus that is additive with other damage bonuses such as execute bonus and Minor Berserk. So one cannot simply multiply their results by 5%. Ideally, this quirk of Minor Slayer's calculation should be fixed so that it behaves in a way that is more consistent with what its tooltip suggests (and so that it no longer suffers such a huge "execute penalty"). But until that happens, the dummy really needs to be affected by Minor Slayer for there to be proper DPS testing.
- Respawn time is too fast: The dummy respawns very quickly, sometimes right into lingering ground DoTs, which makes repeated testing a bit more of a hassle. Please increase the respawn time a little bit--just 10 or 15 more seconds would go a long ways here--and/or give us a way to manually trigger the respawn (e.g., an interactive prompt where the user presses E for respawn).
- Cost and Accessibility: I'm okay with much of the costs involved with housing because they're cosmetic and don't affect gameplay. But the practice dummy is the one exception, as it's a vital tool with tangible effects on gameplay. @ZOS_RichLambert, you've said that one of your goals this patch is to narrow the wide gulf between the bottom ant the top. The problem is that much of that gulf is the result of player experience. Placing a valuable training tool outside of the reach of most players--and almost all new players--is the exact opposite of what you should be doing. People at the top usually have guilds and friend lists full of people who can help them hold Blood Spawn or Maw for a bit so that they can try something out or practice. Practice dummies are an opportunity to open up possibilities for those at the bottom. Don't squander this by making it so prohibitively expensive to acquire.
