after all these years, i've never been the ruler of my own dreams

also i think zos is listening to the playerbase too much, and they're essentially trying to put a band-aid on whatever the biggest problem of the month with the game is. no vision, no long term goal as far as i can see, a severe lack in integrity, etc

I'm mostly concerned about the content coming out on a regular basis. DLC's and such.

Orsinium was The best one so far. Nice big land with lot's of new things to do.
Imperial City - Meh ... i don't really like PVP that much.
Thieves guild - Meh, A tiny landmass with a little questline and some passives
Dark Brotherhood - Meh... Same as thieves guild.
Shadows of the Hiist. Seriously? Just 2 dungeons?

Next one... Homestead - Seriously? a whole new update purely based on ingame vanity, which forces me to continue grinding and farming, grinding and farming the same content, dailies over and over and over.

It seems like they spend ALL their time creating sets, motifs, crates, and crownstore items, and other vanity mumbo jumbo instead of creating some fun to play content...

I'm tired of playing same dungeons, same quests, same dailies over and over, farming, grinding, farming, dailies. They could have done a LOT more in the gameplay part instead of all the crap that has came out the. More quests, new landmasses, deeper and harder dungeon, maybe a new class, or a some new ACTIVE skills?

It's seems like they just want to keep you in a loop of grinding, same content over and over, for a few gear pieces, an achievement or whatever. Enough with it.

"I have no confidence in ZOS and I am only playing until something better comes out."

I only played a year, and the worst things which happened in ESO during this time (for me) were: adding pets to white werewolf in Dark Brotherhood and adding more health to veteran dungeon mobs/bosses in One Tamriel :D Other things were more or less ok (excluding bugs, discouraging RNG and bad balance). But still, I thought One Tamriel was almost great update, and I had hopes for future updates... After I saw Update 13 patch notes, I have no hopes :/

There's still time before February, but there's already nothing worth doing; so for now I'll try to enjoy this time playing my fav character - dual wielding Hurricane stamsorc with occasional Rearming Traps and Velidreth crits.

Well, I have been playing since I started Beta. The game would have to become absolutely horrible and unenjoyable to quit.

This is pretty much the loss aversion and sunk cost fallacy bias. Aka. throwing good money after bad.

    no.

i enjoy playing. when it ceases to be enjoyable i'll stop.

I love Oldschool Fantasy, I think I will follow ESO until it dies, as sad it sounds. Im not saying ESO is perfect oldschool Fantasy but its most definitely the closest one.

You all have to add "other" as an option. Going on to a year with console for this game and it has been more of a love/hate perspective. Love when gameplay is smooth and when ZOS releases patches for issues fixes (or, at least, attempts at fixes.) Hate when every weeks after maintenance, the gameplay is bad with lagging and other issues immediately following the maintenance period which the issues can last up to a few days after. Love again when new contents, such as new DLC and festivals are added. Hate again when too much lags after and during new contents are added. Also, love when in good group and dungeons running smoothly. Definitely hate when run into egotistical elitist "I'm god at ESO and everyone else not at my level is crap" attitudes.

Currently and for the near term.. love for the forecast of new contents to be added in the horizon. Also, hate for these damn "lagging, weapon swapping, character freezing up issues (even game crashing during combat) particularly in dungeons, dolmens and world boss pits that have been occurring for the past few weeks and still occurring!" However, love will temporarily eradicate the hate again if they "fix" or, at least, address these issues!

I still enjoy the game on and off. Whilst there are issues, they're not enough for me to hate on everything that is right with the game which for some bizarre reason a number of people seem to do. I wouldn't waste a single minute of my time continuing playing this game or any game for that matter if that was the case. After all, there's enough alternatives out there if I began to feel like that. I've done it before with ESO. I was so pissed at ZoS over the treatment I received from their customer service, I binned the game for a year and moved onto other games. Didn't miss it in the slightest.

Maybe hating on all things ESO and continuing to plough through the game is just the cool and awesome thing to do and I'm neither of those things, so who knows.

There are a number of people who continuously post "I mean it, I'm done with ESO" comments, yet they're still here posting the same gripes they were last month and the month before that. Like ZoS are gonna give a rat's ass whether they lose 1 individual, whilst gaining 3 more as was the case with the 1T update. "Hold on, Prof_Bawbag is threatening us with abandonment if we don't scrap the 1T update. Lets remove it as he's our primary concern"

It may seems so within this forum with the many comments (at times, seemingly frivolous) about people leaving ESO, but don't underestimate an individual or a single voice with social media power, my friend. One ***-off individual or voice can bring down a giant. Although, not saying it will ever happen to ESO or Zen, that is how certain companies or businesses have gone under, because a certain pissed-off customer(s) or whistleblower(s) decided to take action through the mainstream using social media and the news/media outlet, thus, gaining mass attention and causing uproars. Not so long ago, a certain (unnamed) big named-MMO game had reportedly lost in the upwards of hundreds of thousands (probably in the millions) of its players within a week or a month period, due to whatever reasons.
