This is the change I waited so long for? *** you, Zenimax. What a slap in the face to us mDK players. An absolute joke.

I really hope they meant to say MAX magicka as opposed to missing magicka. Otherwise, someone should lose their damn job for being a moron.

The fact that it crits and is now based off a larger resource pool (Magicka instead of HP) may make it a viable heal, one that can be used after a while in combat when you've spent most of your magicka

So it means the DK self heal is better if you're not a tank? In other words, non tank DK's are probably going to be tankier? I fail to see how that's a good thing. This sounds like more of the same where we are supposed to pump the hell out of our dps stat, to the exclusion of all else. I almost wish they would have kept with the original attributes of the Elder Scrolls series, simply to force these kinds of issues to NOT exist. Its too one dimensional, and while I've not yet looked at the patch notes this sounds awful. Absolutely awful.

It's almost impressive lol. I seriously waited months for changes to dragon blood and after reading hundreds of posts with suggestions on how to fix it.... its worse than it was. Haha that's seriously some talent

Yeah I don't quite understand it. Will be interesting to test and theorycraft on the PTS, but right now I'm having trouble see how this solves most of the issues plaguing mDK. Our sustain is still crap and now we need to basically be OOM to get our heal. Bizarre. But we'll see.

Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

I think they have a long list of possible buffs and whenever one of it is mentioned in the forums they will be deleted and never ever again considered

I do not understand. Leave the burst heal or buff slightly, just enough to get out of execute range at low health. And then add a HoT. There, fixed and balanced. Didn't they say something about making health a more important stat? Where in any of the patch notes is that?

Best hope I guess is that it is a type and was supposed to say MAX magicka not miss magicka? LOL

Dks need a reduce cost passive or something, 8/10 skills on my bars are close to or above 3.5k mana, and comparing that with other magicka classes its so much higher... but i guess having super expensive skills will fit in with having to have 0 mag to have a decent heal

It's not a typo. They're just that stupid. It WILL conveniently become a typo once they see how upset/pissed people are at this change.

So let's look at the math here. Let's say you're running 45k magika and have 5k mag left. That's 40k missing magika or 13,333 in healing before battle spirit. With battle spirit we're talking about a 6700 heal.

While that's enough, now that it can crit, it requires putting yourself into pretty dire circumstances. I think Tava's will be more popular now since it lets you run less overall regen since you're relying on battle roar.

Good lucking draining your 40K+ max magicka while sitting at 20% health in 2 seconds all while taking dmg.

mDKs still need a lot of love!

Wow, really glad I just dropped like a million gold to trick out my mDK for PVP. This, simply put, is the single dumbest balance change I have ever seen. This is a nerf, not a buff, to an already broken and useless skill.

Do the devs even play this game? As a magic player, your magic pool is your lifeline. This change is actively encouraging people to keep their magic low in case they need to heal. It makes absolutely no sense. I should not be penalized for having good resource management.

There are so many things I want to say, but am just in complete and total shock.

ALL WE WANT IS A VIABLE SELF HEAL. Do you really think that making something this complex is a good thing? I am normally very pro ZOS, but I honestly hope people get fired.

"Coagulating Blood (Dragon Blood morph): This morph now heals you for 33% of your missing Magicka instead of 33% of your missing Health."

i want to see what this really means once folks start testing it.

Since its only the morph you still have the base ability as it was plus crit.

But what i want to know is - does this morph "heal" your health or your magica or both" cuz i got no clue.

"heal you for... missing magica" makes me think this mprph is a magica replenishing option. maybe a counterpart to sorceror dark deal/conv etc.

But first i want to se e what the actual effect is.

    Congratulations zos.

I know you have went to some lengths to waver DKs from using their class heal in pvp, but some stubborn few have continued to find ways of making it poorishly workable.

I am delighted you have achieved your goal with this change.

Am i the only one that is okay with this change? Dragon blood is crap now. This will at least be useful some of the time. Dragon blood cost like 3k. Each cast will make it stronger. I understand that this isnt the ideal, but at least it's something. And it can crit. We got some nice changes. Play them before you forum warrior jesus.

It gets stronger the more you use it now coz it can't out heal damage so you get lower on health

Fair enough. I still would take the new version over the pile we have now. I think it will be vetter than what people think.

The skill is literally only useful if you keep your magicka low lol .. I knew you would ruin this. at 90+% mag a potion will heal you for more health than what coag will do.

Everyone dont forget you still lose 50% of the heal lmfao .. the skill is 10x worse now unless you are almost totally out of mag haha .. even being able to crit it doesnt matter. will heal the same as before or worse 80% of the time

A "heal" that punishes you for having good sustain is idiotic no matter how you try to spin it. "Try it before you complain" I'm sorry, but when the directions include a step that says, 'stab your self in the eye repeatedly' I do not need to try it to know that its a bad idea.

You would have to carry two nuke heals now. 1 to heal when you get ganked and another to heal a minute or so later when your magicka is nearly empty because you withheld all your potions and their buffs, and all your battle roars. Our passives, like battleroar, would actually be competing with our survival.

    I agree 100% that we need to see everything play out, but what you are describing is effectively dumping all of your magic to try and get a heal. All you are doing is prolonging your inevitable death. }

A person with 20% magic and 100% health is in a much worse spot than a person with 100% magic and 20% health.

I am really trying to envision how this could be useful, but I am struggling.

The only way I could possibly see this working is if the heal from the missing magic is in addition to the heal from the missing health, but I dont think that is the case.
