Does ESO fat shame?

Like do you feel the characters in game are too buff and too fit, its just unrealistic, and it doesn't have enough fat options? Perhaps even the most fat option still looks fit. Take a look at Everquest and their fat toons, and think about how MMORPGs have changed over the years and how they started fat shaming. AKA they only show fit and buff character models. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaZ0URPX1KA

So eso and Fallout 4 have the same character creation except a fat vault dweller still has a rock hard 6 pack where in eso you can actually have a flabby gut.

Unless you're female, that's where eso draws the line.

I know, but how come I cannot make a fat toon? You seen anyone that looks fat in this game? To me it seems like everyone is all fit.

My old Breton character is neither fit nor buff. He's deliberately skinny, almost malnourished, because that's how I chose to make him. I could choose to make a character more rotund if I felt like it (and I have an idea forming to do just that).

The game isn't at fault here. We choose to make our characters in a certain way, that's all.

I've seen some fat and sloppy looking slobs running around and some seriously abundant Valkyries so, no, if the players prefer svelte that's them not the game. Me, I'm not so young and not so sleek but why should I look like that in a game?

There are a lot of things that happen in the elder scrolls universe.

    Racism/sexism/bigotry/etc... all there.

Fat shaming? Not so much... I have never walked around any zone and had an NPC regale me in my exploits at that all-you-can-eat bosmer buffet.

Get real, there are enough messed up things in this game that we don't need to invent stuff.

    Fat characters should -
Get a debuff to mount speed
Require twice the amount of mats to craft armor
Eat twice the amount of food to get a buff

    Are you a bosmer?

All jokes aside, I was surprised by how small the biggest dimension was in the character creation, albeit I made all my characters maximum thin/hourglass, with biggest assets, and some where extremely muscular. It's the body I wish I had. =D

You can make fat females too. But how fat you can make them depends on their race. It's the same for males, some races can be made fatter than the others.

I would show you my chubby orc, but I'm not going to be home until January 4 and pics taken in my potato-laptop would make her look weird.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

You can give your character a large gut, make them old, and/or give them small arms. Just because most people don't isn't fat shaming.

I hope the op is trolling because if this is for real. Lol.

Yes, lets sue Zeni for not having the option to make an obese character that looks like a Hutt and is somehow able to run around nonstop and ride horses without crushing them.

There's this thing called a stomach slider? Yeah, it can go all the way up to "McDonalds Lover". Even on my leaner Khajiit if I put the slider all the way up it makes her look pregnant.

Now that character on the right is what I call erm, ah, fitness challenged!

Truly do wish we could make our characters look similar; would cherish an Orc with looks like that and then could name him Rolly Polly or Humphrey Dumpy. Then run with him in only the Nordic bathing towel heh!
