Critical Damage Constant Variable

There is a list of Constants I have found for pulling stat numbers for use in Addons with the intent to display additional stats that the default character stats window does not show. From that list I noticed that I cannot seem to locate Critical damage multipliers from the list of Constants. I can see variables for physical and spell critical chance and critical resistance but nothing for the damage multiplier. I am aware that the base damage multiplier is 150% or 1.5 but using mundus stones and champion skill points as well as some other sources I can increase this stat further but cannot make it display what the current value is.

Does anyone know what the Critical Damage Multiplier variable is or if there is even one we can use?

I think the base multiplier is 2.5 at most

There is not, at least so far as I have found. I did add Spell/Weapon Critical Damage modifier to the stats list in my uespLog add-on. I did so by doing it completely manually...I just look for all possible sources of critical damage (passives, skills, buffs, sets, CPs) and calculate it that way. Definitely a messy and complex calculation but it seems to work fine as far as I know.

The 'Constant Variable' in the title made me chuckle.

As noted above - you can find your Crit X by adding together your various sources of CX buff. Alternatively, just test and find your crit and non-crit damage with an attack (under unchanged, controlled conditions) and divide the two.

All sources of CHD are additive, with the exception of Major Force, which is multiplicative.

With that knowledge, your CHD is pretty simple to calculate. For example...

• Base CHD: 0.5
• Nightblade: 10% crit damage (+0.1 CHD)
• Enough points in Precise Strikes that your CP tooltip says 15% extra crit damage (+0.15 CHD) (actually, due to rounding, you only need > 14.5% on the tooltip for the game to give you 15%; you can consult the list of jump points in the "critical modifier" section of this thread so that you don't overspend your CP)
• Using Trap Beast (+0.12 CHD)
• Running TBS with the Shadow mundus stone (+0.12 CHD with zero divines pieces, +0.18 CHD with 7p legendary divines [(1+(0.075*7))*0.12])

In this case, your CHD bonus, if using 7p gold divines with Shadow, will be 1.05, which means that you'll do 105% extra damage.

If Major Force is active, multiply your CHD by 1.3.
