Please fix: Bahraha's Curse tooltip change is a lot more misleading

The updated tooltip makes it sound as if this set is going to proc the 5 set bonus whenever damage is dealt, which is not the case. This does not work with anything DoT related except for the initial casting of the ability. Tested this with Caltrops, refreshing path, etc.. by running through a vet dungeon solo. Not once did it ever proc while damage was continuously being dealt, and it also will not proc on more than one target at a time.

Currently on PC/NA this set sells for 20-70k a piece probably because of the misleading description.

Oxford dictionary definition of deal: [with two objects] Inflict (a blow) on (someone or something):'

Oxford dictionary definition of inflict: Cause (something unpleasant or painful) to be suffered by someone or something:

Oxford dictionary definition of Cause: A person or thing that gives rise to an action, phenomenon, or condition:

To deal is to inflict, to inflict is to cause, the cause of the 'damage' is the initialization of said attack, and not what comes after. You are not 'dealing' damage when you cast a DOT.

The old (pre-1T) heavy set is actually quite nice for magblade sap tanks. Make for fun tanking play.

Yeh, I used it on my saptank from its release until last patch when I swapped it with blood thorn's touch

What do you mean, "old"?

I used Bahraha on my saptank pre-1T. I still use Bahraha on my saptank post-1T. The tooltip was clarified, but the set works exactly the same as it always has and absolutely nothing has changed about it.

Yes, the tooltip could and should be further clarified to say "direct damage" instead of just "damage", but the current wording is no worse than what it used to be--they're both ambiguous and unclear.

Also, the high price is likely due to Bahraha being used in some of the popularized saptank build guides while at the same time the heavy pieces that people want for tanking are pretty hard to come by, since the can only drop from the Thieves Guild main quest coffers (which are one-time non-repeatable rewards) and from Thieves Guild heist rewards (limited to just one per day per character). The pieces of Bahraha that drop from overworld bosses and chests are only available as light armor.

Anyway, the price of Bahraha pieces have been going up ever since Update 10, when Bahraha was removed from the random dungeon rewards and people moved on to newer content and dailies. And with all the new dailies in Update 12, I reckon there are very few who still do heists.

UESP's database can generate any item that is technically codeable, regardless of whether it's possible to obtain it in-game or not. But the tooltip text should be a direct copy from the in-game set details, datamined independently of the actual item and listed here.
