Feedback on the “Mage” Hats! (Crown Crates)

First, this is a thread discussing the new "mage" hats introduced – the “Clever Man” Wizard Hat, the Fibonaccus Spiral Hat, and the Dwarf-Style Mage’s Hat specifically – not on the actual Crown Crates. So, to start, I would like to say that they were nicely done in design! I am really glad to have traditional Wizard hats now.

Although, I do think there is a way they could be improved greatly, which should not be that difficult to do at all. You might notice that these hats in particular do not display any character hair, which makes the hat appear strange, to say the least. I understand there are hats out currently that do show character hair, like the “Feathered Bycoket” hat, another new addition to the Crown Crate stock.

The mage hats appear to have more than enough space for hair to show without clipping problems or the like, so why not allow them to do that? I know a number of people that have said they would want to get these hats a lot more if they actually showed hair. I personally think it would make them a lot more appealing as a whole if they did.

For reference, pictures of a few of the hats referenced can be found here, the last of which shows hair:

Should anyone else have any more constructive feedback about these particular hats, regarding any of their different features, you can post them right here as well!

I was thinking the same thing.

Don't most wizard have long grey hair?

    "Wizards" hat makes you bald.

I agree. The appeal of a mage hat is the fact that it tops and keeps in place a full, flowing head of wizardy hair. Look at Gandalf, Dumbledore, Merlin, for starters. Big beard, long hair, topped with a mage hat.

    I support this movement. \[T]/

I agree, a wizard hat that makes hair disappear is just wrong
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Hair is 1 issue, elf ears poking through is another issue. I will never wear 1. It's *** pathetic that we can't have a hat, ,where our hair still shows, and our ears don't poke out.

Too much to ask for though, way too much.
