Siege damage

I was playing the other night with a friend and the topic came up of siege weapon damage on players. Does anyone know how this damage is calculated? Does CP or weapon damage affect it?

Stone siege -> Hardy
Meatbag -> Hardy + Thick Skinned
Oil Catapult -> Elemental Defender
Flaming Oil -> Elemental Defender + Thick Skinned
Fire Siege -> Elemental Defender + Thick Skinned

This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.
