please let me have a hole in the ground for house

this idea came from a mod i had in morrowind, was the best mod i ever had for morrowind.

my wife and i live a life of stealing and killing for the dark brotherhood and thieves guild.
our lifestyle is spent 100% of the time in sneak and hiding, so we need a home that is hidden away from the law, guards, and people.
so we ask, please give us a small hidden trap door [placed on the edge of town, under the bushes] that leads to a small 1 or 2 room cave with wood walls and floor for me and the wife would be Perfect!
i don't want a huge house and something small is affordable for my wife and i because we spend all our time in pvp means we only have around maybe 50 to 100,000 to spend, [not millions, like for the large houses]
me and my wife's lifestyle in eso fits perfectly in a very small underground hidden home.

if Vvardenfell cannot be had right now then i prefer Dahlmora edge of town in Bal foyen

How about a bandit lair with small, medium, and large options (what you want would be the small lair) available as a reward for a new quest line open only to those if max rank in either the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild skill lines?

From what I heard you can get race styled houses. If the Argonian house is as good as their racials it will just be a hole, probably no door or rooms just a hole but that will be 50% there.

I am sure new house styles will come out on the crown store, might get a vampire/wolf lair then.

Agree, that would have been very cool. I had my fingers crossed for portable tents, something that others first mentioned months ago, or a small shack akin to the small Waterfront home in Oblivion. I kind of knew that tents might be too difficult to implement. Still, the Argonian mud hut looks promising.

If you look at the housing in north Craglorn I can assure you that at the very least the outside is fairly close to what you describe. It's like a little not quite horizontal mini-door stuck onto a very small pile of rubble. Pretty hobbity now that I think of it. The interior you describe would certainly be appropriate for what the entrance looks like.

Yeah even the small homes seem too extravagant for my characters. Just give me a cave or an abandoned mine etc. Even a ruin I can add furniture to would be fine. As long as it doesn't look like much from the outside.

Thieves and murderers don't live in holes in the ground (unless you are a taliban or something). Don't thieves steal so they can live in luxury? I'd say a mansion is perfect for that. Guards leave you alone when you are rich.

Man I'd love a cave somewhere either on the surface or sub-surface that's accessed through a hidden entrance or via a trap door in a ruined building...

It could be just like some of the sub-surface crafted set locations.. Not big, but good decor and a glowy pool in the corner all with the hidden hide-away feel... Houses are just so friggin boring...
