I played for about an hour in Cyrodiil last night, but I was just too salty to get into it. Decided to decorate my villa instead.
That place is huge.
Watching someone blatantly cheat without ramification is very demotivating. I'm probably too emotionally invested in an EP win. Those who've been playing since ESO dropped know our history in the 30-day and it hasn't been easy in past years.
To top it off, the active guild I play with on weeknights isn't really on the same page I am when it comes to goals and winning the campaign. I'm probably going to end up rolling solo again. Solo life isn't bad - I do a lot of scouting and help out in big fights when I can. It's just hard to drag myself into the game when I know that hours of pushing for a scroll can be undone by three or four cheaters in under 2 minutes. Who designs a game like that?

I hope that video got submitted, but have little hope they will do anything about it.

So with the tools at our disposal given to us by the creator of this game. And a trusted good friend. Cause games are better with friends. 2 players are able to accomplish what a whole faction wouldn’t do in under an hour.
I would honestly never have thought about doing this. But after recently being an an under 50 empty 3:00 am server, you see this is how these things get done. It’s legit.
There quite literally is no one on the other side to flip them back over. We come up with our own objectives. I give the guy props for coming up with the ingenuity to pull it off.
You guys stand around acting all shocked and appalled over what’s taking place....could have taken any number of actions. But chose to watch and get schooled.
Intentionally bypassing mechanics is an exploit. Plain and simple.kylewwefan wrote: »I give the guy props for coming up with the ingenuity to pull it off.
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/278031/cyrodiil-cheating-exploiting-you/p1To summarize, if you are using abilities such as gap closers to do things that are not within the realm of intended design and/or bypassing core game mechanics, such as entering keeps without downing doors and/or walls and getting under the environment (ground, water, etc.), you are exploiting.

Can't get on board with the behavior, but I can understand the frustration if that's what was behind it. EP lost a campaign to AD earlier this year by 17K points.kylewwefan wrote: »I dont know? Maybe just doing something for the sake of doing something. Fairly certain both of them guys have had emp somewhere sometime. Covenant is like 10k points behind. Just not even relevant in Cyrodil. Feels bad man. Go do something else.

I don't know what's happened with DC. They have some great players, but instead of taking map they just tower farm or PvDoor back keeps. I recall for a while that DC was dominating in Shor, but a balanced campaign is more fun for everyone. We had some earlier this year that were so close for all 3 factions right down to the final day. Those were exciting.
So I hope DC numbers and focus comes back, I really do.
