I do some real casual pledge dungeons using my tanks and healers (two of each)...

although I use different abilities and gear - it really helps me play those characters better in pvp also...

I can't imagine how helpful it must be to be able to complete vma, vdsa, or, some of the other more challenging content...

it would seem like a team/guild/group that can do a trial together would seriously kick butt in cyrodiil...

Vma isn’t bad on magblades and pet sorcs just some frustrating mechanics Vdsa is just long I used to run with the Thunder Slugs and a lot of the top people would have Flawless and a lot of other hard content titles

Full disclosure, I've never ran a trial before. I tried to get into a trial group once but it was pretty late at night and I think my guildies knew I had a few beers lol...

Anyone know a good trial guild that is willing to work with a nOOb?

I use a mic (really I do) and listen to instructions, so that's a plus I guess but my rotation is below average. Last time I tested on a 3 mil dummy I think I was hitting 20K dps, which is not good reading these very forums and seeing some of the DPS people can pump out.

I have not done a trial either.

TBF, I'd be more interested running March of Sacrifices to get Blood moon armor. <3

Believe it or not being able to 20 is actually really good most of the games population can’t even get that far. You only really need about 25k to run 85 percent of the games content our Vdsa requirement is exactly that just because of round 7 and las boss

was in IC last night and watched some player solo amoncrul (big bone colossus district boss)...

was a 2 hander stam dk...they barely took any damage at all...I actually died once trying to help out (they definitely didn't need my help)...

can any of y'all solo the district bosses or flag carriers in the sewers?

I haven't tried, but, I might be able to on one of my tanks, although my ability to sustain that long would definitely be a question...

I've upped my tel var gain to about 2.5k per hour (was at about 1.5k for a long time)...was able to improve my aoe damage rotation a bit...

having a blast in IC with all the extra players...

district dailies are worth 1k stones right now - I love doing district dailies...

so far my biggest gank has been against that player (blessed soldier) who's going around soloing bosses...I almost feel bad digging into their tel var loot...

this time it was the spider lady...she killed me too...

I can put out some okay damage, but, even in 5 heavy on my magblade, still not so durable against npcs...

    oh yeah, 2 hours - 28k tel var...that'll work :)

I love IC for sure. I started playing ESO at launch and I quit a little while after IC came out. I quit because I was too hooked on this game and nothing was getting done in my life lol...

To make a long story short, I was getting into IC when I quit so I didn't burn out on it like a lot of people have. So I've been having a blast also. Running solo last night was tricky but it was good for my ego because I was winning a lot of 1v1 battles. Which surprises me because my magsorc is built for ranged fighting but I was winning some melee battles. But to be fair I think a bunch of PvP noobs are in IC right now, so soul assault was wrecking them. My new 1 - 2 punch is destructive reach, which with a fire staff knocks them back and down. It starts ticking, then I hit them with soul assault. if they're not ready for it, be prepared to become a pile of ash.

Hope to run into some of you in IC over the weekend. Be nice to me if you see me ;)

Hmmm, maybe with a little research I can figure out how to hit the 25K mark. I would like to PvE more and at least complete one friggen trial before I quit this game or they shut the servers down.

For whatever reason I'm stubborn and don't want to run a pet sorc build but I know those builds can push a lot of DPS in PvE. Ironically when I started playing ESO that was my intention, a petter build but didn't like that build in PvP.

@Hurtfan Is the 20k deeps with elemental drain or without it? You actually don’t need the pet I have a guildee who has done Vmol without the pet.

    @Lokirules

It was with the Twilight Matriarch...I used to do DPS tests without any pets, for a long time, but when I added the Matriarch it went up almost 2K if I remember right. I think if anyone is going to take me seriously I need to figure out a better rotation.

@Hurtfan I was asking if your putting elemental drain on the dummy. The Scamp and the Matriarch add about 4K extra Dps.

Duh, I have used it during some DPS tests, but can't remember if I was using the debuff when I hit 20K. Sounds like I should be using it?

Yes it helps with lowering the resistances on the dummy and gives a minor sustain buff

I will work it back into my rotation, thanks for the info. I do wear the lich set to help with sustain but I could use more help for sure, the 3 mil dummy takes a lot of nuking to kill.

I can’t believe how fun the event has been so far! I got ganked today in Nobles on a pve toon with 15k telvar on them I survived the burst by shielding up then preceded to destroy the ganker and got 25k. It was Awesome! Felt bad for the blue because that character is squishy. Was also farming Molag with 50 other Ep the night before and it was both funny and kinda embarrassing to see them continually get bombed by Blues after Molag was killed.

prime example of why it's good to have a bench...

came in on my blue magblade - quickly realized that farming the districts while everything is painted red wasn't such a great (nor profitable) venture...

I have a character in each alliance on our map whom completed the main IC quest and can do the dailies...

got to use my red magplar...set up mostly for healing, but swap around some abilities and does fine with npcs...man puncturing sweeps is such a great dungeon skill...

he does okay with other players...I have to do a bunch of bar swapping with this character so it can be hit or miss :#

i'm really enjoying some of the events this year...did the juibliee event - doing writs like crazy was a grind, but profitable...same thing with mid year mayhem...plenty of AP for monster pieces again...

I actually enjoy doing the dailies in IC...better yet if you own all the districts and can go about your way easily...

not to jinx it - but, haven't seen a single enemy in either a blue or red sewers for this year, nor last...

    I'm sure it's happening, I just haven't seen it...

looking forward to a yellow or mixed IC...

In the PvP build section, a lot of folks recommend Swift on Templar and DK. If you don't have it researched, I can help you with that.

Even 10% on a Gold jewelry piece is REALLY good.
