As a PvE'r, that's kind of a pointless idea - I can't afford anything. Now if instead we ask, as the OP did, what we could buy AP with... well - Gold of course? Soul Gems, perhaps? I have tons of those. I'm still not sure what I would do with AP though... other than buying Akaviri motif pages...

I honestly hope that they do not add any of the PvE content, particularly Maelstrom weapons. At least not without reworking how AP is earned completely so that it better reflects one's contribution to the campaign, and probably not even then.

I read that as marginalizing people's opinion that they should be properly rewarded for the content they choose to play/enjoy. If PvE sets are more competitive in PvP than their PvP counterparts, then a method of acquiring PvE gear by PvPing needs to be implemented--something that's more effective than the weekly golden vendor, btw. It's not only a QoL issue for the players but also one of player retention. Old school ESO PvPers pick up the game again, see the boring PvE grind ahead of them to be competitive in PvP, and then they drop the game again. It's not only gear. CP is just boring, too. At the end of the day, it's a form of entertainment and if the amount of grind far outpaces the reward, then people just don't bother logging in. Lord D Tick knows that my friends list exemplifies this.

I want to be able to buy faction-specific costumes, motifs, personalities, morphs...

For example, the new Crown Store items are great, but you should be able to earn some of those through PVP ranks or AP purchases (e.g. get Emperor, get your Faction-specific steeds). Things that bring more people into PVP = good.

You don't even need CE for the first two. To fly you just need Crit Rush, and as for killing people with one click, they have added a stupid number of things (99% for stam users) capable of that.

You now what I want to actually be able to buy with AP, some actual balance.
