Idk i hear akot of plp either dont enjoy pve or pvp the thing is this game has both so why not pkay both?? i dont like pvp much at all but i have to go there to get certain skills that i want and certain sets. Nobody is forcing me to do anything i coukd just be a potatoe and not get the skills if i wanted but since i wanna be competitive and complete i go there and do ehat i gotta do. i rrally dont understand why plp play an mmo and think they dont have to do both sides pvp and pve. People who dont enjoy and dont do one or the other are either not good at it or dont have succes with groups both which can be remedied. Threads like this dont really grt much attention anyways since we all know in this mmo both aslects of the game need to be exoerienced if u want to have a fully maxed character so no point in whining about having to pve or pvp cause its not going to change

Just because mmos do the same thing doesn't make them better or good. Why restrict a player? Right now their are players that love to do trials, they get the loot and sell it making gold. Now I hate PvE with a passion, so much so that I have 12 maxed characters and only one of them has Unduanted rank 9.

So now if I want to use trials gear I have to do something I HATE in a game I am trying to have fun with and enjoy, and the people that DO ENJOY it are now getting punished as well because they can't sell the loot any longer.

ZOS are so .... don't want to get banned again for being honest about how I feel about the ZOS Dev team and their intelligence.

Honestly I find trials too hard and the mechanics of one shotted on screw up ruins the fun... I'd rather they making crafted and dungeon sets comparable to trial gear so if we don't become leaderboard legends we can still be viable endgame doing the content we like.

Or add dungeons that scaled based on party size more enemies and harder hits per additional character in party

The only trial set i wanted was necropotance for my sorc but peices were going for 500k so part of me is glad the raiders are loosing their gravy train and o can farm rivenspire myself for it.

So what changed for you? Most of the BoE trial sets are now dropping in the overworld zones, where you have easy access to them and where they drop in BoE. What was BoP in trials before is still BoP, so I'm assuming those are not the sets you're complaining about.

Can we, like, not have another rant topic about BoP please?

I don't like running trials myself, because they're too much work for me, but since the majority of trial sets are being distributed into the overland and dungeons, which I don't mind doing as that's much easier to farm so I don't really care.

Only VO, IA, Alkosh and Twilight are even remotely useful in competitive environments so now I really have 0 incentive to run trials as I already have complete sets of those sets and can just farm Fungal Grotto for my Viper Sting set instead.

I've got better things to do with my gold than use it on sets to buy, like stocking up on alchemy ingredients for immovable and detect pots for PvP.

Haha nice joke.. So pve players got aliance war skills reduced to AP requied and now pvp players cant get stupid bind to equip on items? Lets bring back old AP requiment to for example vigor ok? Because at this moment every pve player have pvp skills and pvp players dont have anything for their pvp .. Now every pvp player can have vigor in ONE DAY... This is stupid really..

So dont tell anything about pvp players want everything free... Pve players have much more than pvp player atm.
Give us stupid bind to equip again.. Now i want to know where I find warlock ring if it will be bind to pickup...

This is already the case tho...

Crafted and dungeon sets are comparable to trial gear so that we can be viable doing the endgame content we like. Go craft 5 NM and 4 Hundings, slap on some Agility jewelry and you're good to go for 99% of all endgame content. Now like you said, you won't be a "leaderboard legend," but you'll be quite viable.

You do know that trial gear is only Aether, Ophidian and Yokeda right? All the sets like Elegance, Skirmisher, Warlock, Viper, Silks of the Sun won't drop in trials anymore.

So if you don't like trials you now have 0 reason to do them. Now me on the otherhand who used to sell Elegance, Viper, Sun and Necropotence is going to be broke really quickly.

Not only that, with the; scaling of crafting materials, no 9-trait magicka sets, and few viable crafting sets, there will be a huge hit to player profit and selection diversity at guild vendors.

Crafters will now be forced to craft max quality items unless someone lower level can acquire the leveled materials because apparently master crafters are too vacuous to know how to make low grade items (this defines ZOS' logic on this matter).

My solution to the problem would be to let players select in the skill menu what material level nodes they would like to harvest using a 1 to 10 range (corresponding to the passive that defines the level of the materials, so if you progress through crafting, this range increases).

Second, now that all zones can be accessed regardless of quest completion, it is time to remove those repeated set crafting stations and replace them with unique ones.

Add a few 9-trait crafting stations to Craglorn (no more stamina sets).

I can't really imagine any reason that a PvP enthusiast would even do trials, dungeons take all of 20 minutes, even the vet hard modes. (Note: this is specifically in reference to the 16 dungeons not part of DLC).

Still, I hate pvp and don't want to do it to get vigor or caltrops so I sympathize.

oh yea, but you can just compare how good set from pve are better or harder to get against these from pvp
look on prices, pvp sets...some are expensive for maybe 100k per piece ehn it is adding, but thne in short time it is going so fast down while some set items from trials are still for 100k+ and much more and months after release this, more wanted sets + not able to farm for all while playing anyhow like in pvp you can play anyhow and getting ap for sets

There wasn't many serious PvPers who wanted those skills to be reduced. It was the PvE players who said that getting Vigor, Caltrops and Prox Det was too hard. The PvP community wanted these to stay how they were because they should be a reward for being good and knowing how to get good AP gains. I had all the PvP skills unlocked on five characters before they reduced the AP requirements. Now you can get Vigor in one day and Caltrops and Prox Det in under a week easily.

Do you even read the patchnotes mate? The BoE sets from trials are completely gone from trials and drop overland IN BOE. The only sets that drop in trials are the actual trial sets that ALWAYS WERE BOP.

Conclusion: you did not read the patch notes properly.

Guys there's a huge difference here that I don't think anyone is understanding. When they say trial gear, they're just talking about viscious ophidian, infallible aether and eternal yokeda, plus some more trials only sets that they're bringing up to v16 like twice fang serpent and older sets. Anything that was in the trial, viper, skirmisher, necropotence, silks of the sun, sets that were bind of equip MAY be bind on pickup now but they're getting moved OUT of the trial into regular pve zones so pvp players (and pve players that don't like running trials) can get the gear by just hopping in one of the random farmable zones.

As far as the actual Trial gear, it's all stuff that's oriented for trials and people that regularly run them. Minor slayer and minor aegis doesn't help anyone doing casual play or doing pvp...

This hurts regular trial runners most because pvpers used to make money for pvp gear that was useful. They can still do that. But raiders can't sell ANY gear for the content they do regularly. That will completely ruin the economy and make raiders have even less incentive to run the horribly unrewarding vet trials.

Actuallu several of those BoE trial drop sets have become BoP Dungeon sets. So maybe you should read the patch notes properly before telling others to do so.

I do more end game PvE then PVP and I can say these changes are going to kill my doing that as vet trials did not make a ton of money before this with a slim chance of getting drops that sell for more then the cost of repairs and potions, and now will do nothing but lose money making this change just horrible. It will kill vet trials as none will run them once they have their gear.
