Then you missed the point, it doesn't matter if it is unobtrusive. You yourself as a player is skipping a progression curve in bettering yourself instead of skipping out on mechanics for easy gear trying to go straight into the hardmodes/veteran modes and wondering why a group does not want to run with you when you fail the mechanics and keep dying. Yes it is meant to be harsh because you put your foot into progressive trials, and guess what they are all scaled now, so they are all progressive. wish there was a disagree button. You've never done normal mode then. scaling down normal anhthing for a gear farm is entirely unobtrusive. As for the situation OP mentioned, it affects veteran only achievements like titles/master weapons/leaderboards and needs a quick fix.
@Alcast Now that beyond got their hardmode I think they might be rock solid, so watch out :P

We're not too far off, 7 deaths on our silly run. But *** me I am sick of the first boss, overlaying mechanics its dumb

ye first boss is the biggest pain in the ass, we have a good tactic now so deaths are rare there, once you are past 1st boss it is kinda "save" till trash before last boss in that long room.
To get a higher score i think you need quite a bit vitality left and that with Hardmode is gonna be tricky. But ye I think beyond did it on 2nd try so we better hurry up, we just started HM so lets see where this goes lol.
Well sad thing is that it's not even a cheating. If someone can downscale dungeons, trials and get achievements it's obvious he can do the same with vDSA. Leaderboards for vDSA should be only for cp160 runs same like for vet trials atm.

I don't care about them, but when they come and do it with vDSA and get the score, then it's a problem and an intentional cheating.

I agree but in other hand cant blame people for this like it would be only their fault. Theoreticly each person who've done it downscaled can say ,,we helped our friend to get achievement" and I am ok with that as long as it not affect leaderboards. Let's be honest it's developer who screwed here in the 1st place. And doing veteran mode scaled to levels not champion points is just a joke.

I completely agree with Nifty2g this is disgusting, end game content should be learned both as a individual and as a team, thats how it was designed to be done, and end game gear should be earned NOT obtained using what is quite obviously an exploit.
Things like these bassically make all serious progression and end game competition nul and void, this needs addressing ASAP not only in this content but ALL end game vet mode etc content, otherwise what is the point of having this 'end game' content if it can be quite easily worked around and still give the same rewards the same results.

I did every endgame content except vet mol.
And I got vo neck after 300+ runs, and I had to buy it, so no neck drop for myself.
How exactly would another 300 runs teach me anything?
Rng is just stupid the way it is.

lol no points? wtf xD. Like with our first speedrun, no achievment whatsoever. Did they say they will fix it soon?
