Don't like it then don't pay for ESO+

    Logic here please.

No ESO+ means no funds coming into Zos.
Same can be said for Crown purchases.

No Funds coming into Zos be it from ESO+ or Crown purchases means someone isn't getting paid on their staff.

Someone not getting paid means less Staff to keep the game running right.

Maintenance has to be done ... We get that.

That is not the complaint here. The complaint is the fact that some of us that Subscribe don't feel we are getting our moneys worth aka not getting what we are paying for.

Then the point is, if you don't feel like you're getting what you're paying for, then don't pay... walk away. But being unrealistic in understanding how difficult it is to run a mega-server based MMO with millions of players around the globe and expecting there aren't going to be glitches, crashes, worn out servers, etc. What I've seen in this last month is not indicative of how ESO typically runs... there have been a lot of extended downtimes this month, but it is not a typically common occurrence.

Point is..... for every ESO+ lost that loss is hurting a ZOS employee somewhere in their business.

And if many ESO+s are lost that could mean someone either gets laid off or possibly even put out of a job.

That is that many Less Employees to do the job they were hired to do.

Which could also end up causing even longer maintenances every time there is one, even longer times for bug fixes (possibly not even ANY fix) and even worse CS than has already been described in this thread.

I know that can't be what you really want?

This is the reality of what could happen,
i certainly hope not cause i really like this game,
if i didnt like the game i wouldnt be out here "complaining".

Just a shame that a lot of players out here on the forum dont see this or dont want to see this.

Its counter productive to tell players to leave if they are not satisfied,
its the easy way out that would turn against them if a lot of players/subbers would follow theyr advice.

Agree and is sadly the Biggest point I have been trying to get all the Naysayers to see. But they are too blind to see it I guess.

While that obviously does suck, if we all have to stay subbed just for things to work correctly, then it's a lost cause anyway.

Yes i agree,ZoS should refund 24 hours of ESO+ when there is more then 24 hours downtime in 30 days.
It would be nice to have it refunded each month. Like when my internet service goes down I get a discount based on the amount of time it was down, everything come disclosed in the bill. I'd love ZOS to do it. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure its in the TOS that maintenance downtimes are to be expected and not refunded, so would be a gesture of goodwill more than anything. Welcome yes, but not a priority or something to whine about.

Sounds like a YOU issue. I am perfectly fine paying my subscription (funding ZOS) and dealing with the downtime. I feel I am getting what I pay for, so like I said, if you don't feel that way, then don't pay. You can always support them in other ways (crown store, etc).

If I cancelled my ESO+ because I felt that Zos doesn't Care for/Appreciate its members then what makes you think I should care enough to Support/Appreciate them by buying crowns?

The Logic here, I can't seem to find it.

I'm not trolling but the simple answer is....Don't Sub

No idea why ppl even sub anymore on certain platforms as you spend more time dealing with tickets and issues rather than playing the game.

    Stop subbing....seriously....

When things get to a better state then consider it

Downtime is part of the service you are paying for, they're doing their job to give you the best service they can, I don't understand how people forget this

In the end i will, stop subbing, now the only reason i do it is the crafting bag,
but when i have all research done,my bank empty from gear for research then i will throw my mats in my banks and stop subbing.
At least if i dont see any thing getting in a better direction...

*Psst* that time is now, from what I've seen things stopped getting better months ago, aside from maybe one or two things.

Dude this is the internet crowd, most are here to show you they don`t need your handout. How dare you offer them free stuff?

Plus the people not on ESO+ who would simply die out of frustration is the people on ESO+ get anything for free.

This is my exact form of thinking right now also. Use my Sub to gather up lots of ingame gold, get all my crafting research and such done, get max inventory and bank slots opened (all done with ingame gold ofc) and then drop my Sub.

Sorry if I put someone out of work. Sorry if I make that employees child/childrens lives miserable until their father/mother finds a new job.

And sorry to all of those that voted No, and don't ever get the Bugs in the game fixed that they complain about.

Someone has to pay the bills for this game to last, but I guess if you don't care if they get paid or not then neither shall I.

It's funny how most of the people complaining about downtime are on PC where the maintenance/updates are started earlier and finished faster. We're nearing the 10 hour mark now on Xbox and counting.
