Craglorn needs a bit of love from ZOS

I was wondering if ZOS had any plans for this area and content once One Tamriel comes out? @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

It's a beautiful and mysterious place that I just discovered, but alas, everything requires a group of at least 3 people. I do NOT want to see it nerfed, but is there a plan to make it more accessible or at least to make people come here more frequently? Any ideas?

Even if it's just "we are actually working on it", I'd like to hear from you guys at Zenimax.

    They are working on it. They specifically mentioned a Craglorn revamp in one of the ESO Live episodes this year.

    Not sure what this revamp would entail, but they certainly haven't forgotten about it.

    All Craglorn dungeons should actually be DUNGEONS, give them back in difficuly, normal and veteran mode, there you go. Shadaa's tears, Skyreach catacombs, etc.

    High quality dungeons. You don't need to drop monster helmets or anything, put them in the grouping tool, do something, Craglorn rocks.

    I actually hope they make it harder, not just bump the levels to cp 160, but rather make it hard enough that you need a group of 3-4 to complete the dungeons and quests (and not by making 3 players who need to get 1 item each to complete it, but rather because the difficulty of the dungeons, bosses, quests, mobs, etc.. has been raised) I remember before they added V16 that Craglorn was the place to go for group content and even at max level it was difficult. I can't wait for them to update it. I'd like to see maybe some unique sets or motifs that can only be found in craglorn. That would keep people coming back and keep that area alive!

    I'll never forget Skyreach catacombs right after Upper Craglorn got released. I loved the difficulty. :)

    That's great to hear! And as I said, I do not want them to nerf the area, absolutely no! I also wondered why Craglorn dungeons weren't in the Group finder. But still, you need a group to fight non-dungeon stuff. So group is definitely needed there, even for just wandering around and fighting mass enemies and bosses.

    Awesome! I recall you guys mentioning something about Craglorn, I think it was in one ESO Live, but I thought it was just the scalling of the trials (which is great on itself). Glad to know more changes to Craglorn are coming!
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.

    that would be awesome, I remember going to (northern) crag with my stam dk back in 1.5 getting my ass kicked, now I'm walking into a group having proxy on and everything dies oneshot :neutral:
    Craglorn was meant to be a group zone, combining questing with groupplay, now it's easily soloable (even easier than silver pledges for example since mobs have more than 25k hp there)

    I hope that by "revamp" they mean "the Main Questline can be completed solo". I'd love to finish it, but I still remember the 3 months I spent looking for a group nearly every single night for The Missing Guardian (the one that requires 4 people to unlock the door to the final boss) before giving up.
    So many times we'd get 3 people, wait a few hours, then someone drops group... and a few minutes later we get someone else :angry:

    It'd be great if there was a low chance of a nirnhoned item dropping as a daily reward, too. I really don't want to spend 1000s of gold on every other item than the one I will actually get when I finish the main quest.

    please update the nodes to max level.
    I go along with this, you need to farm Craglorn for Nirncrux but have to go elsewhere for CP160 nodes.
    Australian on PS4 NA server.

    Well, I already soloed most of Upper Craglorn without much issues, so it isn't an absolute necessity.

    I've soloed a few of the dungeons, they are hard and I like it that way. I love the group stuff but sometimes I just want to do my own thing and Craglorn is perfect for testing out new equipment.

    Clearing the named bosses in the delves and outdoors should count towards undaunted leveling. 10 points per boss, perhaps.
    And those bosses should have a 10% to 25% chance to drop a nirntraited item. And much better drops overall from all NPCs/wildlife.

    Yes, it was originally intended as group content, but this is the reason why it died so quickly after ZOS killed it as a good place to grind levels. Forced grouping just didn't work for most people due to instancing, difficulties finding 4 people who could finish an entire quest line in one go, and related problems.

    If those plans include "making the main story soloable" then I'm on board. I like the group content it brings with the delves and whatnot. But the main story should be have the option to be a solo activity. I'm really pleased that the trials and Arena are being pushed up to 160.
