Before the update- if your ran nDSA, you had a chance to get a Master's Weapon at one lower CP rank than the vDSA version. Now that Master's Weapons are guaranteed at the vDSA completion- can you still receive a Master's Weapon in normal DSA? Please link one if you've received it from normal DSA. Thanks!

In some sense I can get why some players only want them dropping from the Vet version, but I do feel that every player who goes through even Normal DSA should have a chance (25%) of getting one (even at CP160), HOWEVER, I do feel the quality should be White due to the difficulty difference.
The Vet version I feel should be giving out the Purple with a chance at a Gold one.

So it makes sense that, like nMA, these unique weapons don't drop, even at CR150, since the effort and skill needed to clear the normal instance is so much less than that of vet.

I don't have an opinion one way or another in regards to whether or not Master Weapons should drop from nDSA.
The one thing I will point out about the old Master Weapons is that you could also get them (gold v14s) via PvP end of campaign rewards (changed circa IC to no longer be earned from PvP), so they could be earned without even going into DSA. I have no idea if they are again allowing them to be earned in PvP. Just throwing that out there so that you can factor it into your 'earned' debate.PS4 NA Server

Not every one in the game purchases their mats for upgrading. I spent a lot of time with my crafter farming nodes earning my own mats instead of buying them.
Plus, if I have to do nDSA ten times to just earn a masters weapon, even if it is white, that TIME SPENT is equal to me as someone doing it on Vet Level and receiving a 100% drop.
I don't want to have to make a cookie cutter min/max build to even try to be able to do Vet DSA since they OP scaled it, knowing full well due to my disability I am never going to be able to pull off DPS needed to complete it without having to resort to using Cheat Engine to compensate.
Therefore, like the Monster sets that drop in the new dungeons (in both Normal and Vet), which by the way, have the same severe difference in difficulty, nDSA should have a chance to drop the Master weapons.

✭✭✭✭✭I soloed nDSA today; the bosses have about 1/10 the health of what they have in vDSA, and the gulf in difficulty was huge--much wider than nCoS/nRoM vs. vCoS/vRoM. CR160 Master Weapons would be wholly inappropriate as drops in nDSA--maybe CR140 or CR150, but CR160 should definitely not be available in nDSA.
In the final nDSA chest, I received a Lightning Staff of the Healer. I've run vDSA several times since the update, and nobody in my groups ever received a weapon from any of the four BoE sets. It looks like they just replaced the Master Weapons with these BoE set weapons for nDSA, and nDSA is the exclusive source of these items.
