Seriously I was an imperial, then I changed to Wood Elf and I am suffering more from stamina sustain than I ever was with imperial??

Why did you nerf regeneration, how could this possibly be better for the game.

I've heard a lot of other people complaining about recovery, even if the old recovery was not working as initially intended this is how it should be. Please revert back the recovery changes.

I've noticed my stamina is not refilling fast at all, even with 2+k regen, but I noticed this before the last patch on my DK.

Man there is no love for stamina. Stamina regen is low.... 'deal with it'..... Meanwhile magicka players have thread pages crying about their magicka regen being low too with a lot of support.

It's the same for magicka and Stamina. The main answer in the other thread is the same. They fixed a bug and that's it. Usually people cry about bugs not being fixed, now ZOS fixes a bug and everyone cries again...i don't get it.

Technically the only supporters for those complaining about Magicka regen issues are those also complaining... the fact is, this was a 'FIX' and like with all fixes, nerfs and updates... players will adjust after they re-L2P. This is an MMO, this is typical in all MMOs... things are adjusted, fixed, changed, etc... and players learn to deal and move forward. New players coming in won't know the difference and will be happy playing. Sometimes you have to make adjustments to your gear, switch enchants to regen or cost reduction, etc.

Well, they did just discover the Reguard passive as incorrectly giving the second and third points 3/s instead of the intended 5/s. So yeah, it's not surprising they could find a bug in thousands of miles of code a couple of years later after coming across it most likely accidentally, not intentionally... as with what happened with Redguard passive.

They tried to nerf the redguard stamina sustain to keep up with the regeneration nerf, thats all. They never said this was a bug or at least as far as i can remember

This is not a "bug" anyone wants to be fixed.

I wouldn't even call this a bug. When regen etc is added multiplicative, then that's how they made it. Sure they can claim it's a bug fix. Truth is, it's simply a nerf to compensate for their CP system. Deal with it :) We will see more nerfs like these to compensate.

But I like you too much to argue with you @Destruent . I'm just telling my opinion.
This change has been made and it won't be reverted, so complaining is pointless. But I know the truth :D

In the same patch they fixed a bug that was causing some people to have higher stats than intended with multiple % based boosts at once, they also introduced a bug that seems to be dropping regeneration ticks. So not only are people with these boosts noticing lower regen, but it's broken so it's even worse too xD

It is a nerf. The regen formula has been the same for well over a year. Anyone who believes it was an unintended bug needs to have their head examined, and I expect more from you.

Wrobel and crew decided to nerf regen. We saw cost increases and resource poisons in DB. Now we are seeing a direct adjustments to the regen formula itself.

The problem with ESO is, bugs take so long to fix that people tend to think that these bugs ARE INTENDED. Its not the fault of the players. Its ZOS. They left this error in the formula for SOOOOOO long that most people have already adjusted their builds around it. NOW they fix it after well over a YEAR. All it would have taken is some simple readjusting of the formulas that some 0.5 yr experience fresh grad programmer could have done in about 30 mins.... Why the took so long to fix it is unbeknownst to me...... But yeah...... Bug fix... RIP

Percentage stat bonuses like regen were applying multiplicativley. This meant stacking them made each individual one stronger than it should be. A 10%, 20% and 30% bonus multiplied to 71% overall bonus instead of the 60% it should have always been. Call it whatever you want, it was absolutely needed. Power creep is getting out of hand due to no soft caps. We will see more of these changes in the future until they bring back soft caps. A system with no limits is inherently flawed.

There's been multiple videos and streams of people completing the new dungeons, veteran maw and veteran sanctum so there is no issue. Its just an adjustment that you'll need to make to your rotation to throw in an extra heavy attack here or there or swap a weapon/spell damage glyph for a recovery / cost reduction glyph.

In this case, a nerf would be "We used to intend for it to be multiplicative, but now we think additive would be better."

A bugfix would be "We always intended for it to be multiplicative, but just realized that we had made it additive all this time."

In either case, it is a change to how a mechanic has worked for a long time, and the only difference being whether @Wrobel justifies it with "oops, we changed our mind" or "oops, we always planned it to be like this". For the player, though, it's not really relevant what reason ZOS gives. It is a de facto nerf if not a de jure one.
