No, seriously... I can't believe someone actually asked for that. We already got race change, wich is a total absurdity. Ideas like that are on the same level of ridiculous as the nerf requests that are already killing the game ("ye but iz two hard lel")

It may only take 2 days if someone has the tenacity, time, and will to do so. It can take someone like me about 5 days or 10 levels a day before I'm tired from grinding so much. I wanna do other stuff or have to do other stuff. And let's not forget if you put a lot of work into a character, i.e. horse training, crafting, guild lines, achievements, etc., and you aren't happy with the class you chose after awhile, you should have the choice to change it. Not a cheap choice, tho. I'd say class change tokens should cost more than race change ones.

Any proves that most of the community ,,highly demand" class change or You just count Your vote as a milion votes?
Fixed that for you.In the other TES games Skyrim class didn't really mater except the with your starting stats
I have 7 char that I lvled up through quest (no grind here) from lvl 1 to veteran 16 (and it tooks me more than 5 little daysAnd of course I have to assume all the people that KEEP bringing up just level a new character OVER AND OVER again, have only grinded all their characters and have no real vested interest in the game anyway.
Like @CreepyPahuska said :Because I dont give a *** who you are, you can't get all the achievements, mount training, researched traits back in 8-10 hours of grinding
And let me quote myself :Oh, and if you need to do all your horse training, craft skills leveling, guild skills, achievements, etc... before your can realise that you don't like the class your playing... well forgive me but you are an idiot.
So for horse training, you were wrong, you can do it in 5 minutes if you want... Your researched traits are not wasted they only are on another char.Problem can be horse training, but you can already buy it from the crown store so problem solved (instead of putting money in class change you put money in horse training)..

Classes are already wildly unbalanced. Nightblades are clearly god-tier and only continue getting buffed every patch, either directly or indirectly. Sorcerer is literal trash right now because you have to run 1 exact setup to even make it viable (boring/stupid AF). The other two classes fall in the middle, but are vastly underpowered to the Nightblade.
ZoS wouldn't have so many class change requests if they would stop playing class favorites and stop catering to the PvP community with patches that destroy PvE viability of classes.
I generally don't understand arguments that go along the lines of: 'People will just start changing classes then to whatever is flavour of the month.' So? It's neither your money nor your character, the only aspect it might affect you in is that some roles might be underplayed in the LFG tool. But that is already the case. Why would you be so against how other people want to modify their characters?
I'd personally like them to scrap preset classes and reintroduce them as specializations that you can acquire in-game, similar to say Vampire or Fighters Guild skill lines: you can find Master trainers or something that will help you get access to the skill lines of say a Dragon Knight for a cost, and you can also 'forget' that specialization at another trainer for a cost, similar to how respeccing works.

Unsure how roles being less available in the GF has anything to do with class chsnge. Class has zero to do with roles being queued for GF. Tanks and to a lesser extent, healers, are usually is lower supply for 4 man content. It's why many can play 2 or 3 roles in their character but the ones I know just play with guildies.
Classes are good. Class trainers are fine as long as those choices are permanent/ can never be changed without spending 10k crowns.

while I am personally very fine with my class (stam DK), I believe there are people, who aren`t and would want to change it to some other class. I am going to change my stam dk altmer (oops, but she was so pretty), to redguard, because of stam racial passives of course. but she is still going to be hot and harder hitting, August August where are thou
!!!
If they want another class just create a new character

well, but why not also class change? imho it is the same as race change or appearance change....why not?

I only have time for one character and trust me, a "casual" like myself isn't going to be topping any Alliance scoreboards with a class change. I'm a completionist, but I refuse to 100% the game more than once - just so I can change 3 skill lines that I will only use a few abilities from on my bar.

Why not?
Because let's say you only have one character, fully maxed out in all your class skills. You decide to change class...
Obviously your old class skills are no longer applicable. They could refund the skill points you've used but you'd still have to learn the new class skills. Now that is something that "happens" as you level up a new character from scratch, but it's still something this converted class character would need to do.
It simply wouldn't make sense to say "I was DK with level 50 in Ardent Flame skills, I want to be a sorc with level 50 in all Dark Magic skills" - apart from anything else how would you work out morphs?
Besides I would suggest that anyone thinking "I want a new face, I want a new race, I want a new class" would be better off (literally) creating a new character.

Please let me rephrase that to make sure I fully understand what you are trying to say : you refuse to put more effort in the game to make a new character because you are a casual player, thus, you expect Zenimax to give you a solution that would allow you to reach that goal effortlessly. In other words, the game isn't easy enough right now, you want ZoS to make things even more easy, by allowing you to change your class like you would change your underwears.
You need to realise that the WHOLE DAMN GAME has already been nerfed down to the ground and even below, just because players like you complained about s***. They nerfed the dungeons so hard that you barely need a tank and a healer to go through what used to be the endgame 4man content (wich makes your talk of PvE viability senseless), they removed the veteran ranks so that making a new character now only takes maybe 10% of the time it used to take before that... and now you want to change your class so you don't even need to make a new character ?
Several people asked why we care if other people want to change their class, well it hurts my f***ing feelings to see a game I enjoyed for more than 2 years being turned, step by step, to EasyMode CasuLand. TESO isn't TES VI, it's a MMORPG with a TES background. If you guys miss Skyrim, please just go back there. Thanks.
Casual players are a plague that is killing the game.
