It is super strong on a templar because of major mending, especially when you have 2+ person on you.
In 1v1, unless you are fighting a DOT build, it's decent at best.
This set won't make you survive agains't 2+ good player at the same time.
But it will definitely help.
People don't seem to realize that when it procs, the beam breaks after 10 meters..
Considering that this set is especially strong on templars and that templars are slow as $h!t....
Just dodge roll away from the templar and voilà.
Otherwise, the said templar will simply puncturing sweep you to death while healing himself ridiculously.
If you guys really want to talk about cheese, let's talk about Templar Sun Shield build. I've seen these some guys surviving with 10-12 people on them.
PS: I am a Malubeth user on my Templar, not hiding it. I have been before everyone started complaining about it and I don't intend to stop using it.
I find it really funny that 90% of the persons that I'm fighting do not attempt to break the beam... just like most people instead of interrupting the Dwarven from Engine Guardian when he's healing just continue to attack their opponent, uh?
I'll repeat one last time... Break the beam, guys... ; )
It's not only OP, it's broken...
Can't defend it.
You know something is OP and broken when everyone in Cyrodiil is using it xD
I am kinda glad the helm can be bought now. Means everyone in cyro can have it (the shoulder was already on sale a month ago). The more prominent the issue, the faster it will be fixed.
Hahahahahaha hahahahaha! *Falls over laughing*. It's been broken for months, the devs won't fix it. At this point they either can't find it (not smart enough) or they just don't care (about PVP that is).
Professionals, like SWTOR and WOW developers fix this kind of thing right away. Days, not weeks or months. @Wrobel is a little kid picking his nose and wetting himself in comparison. It's not op, and people shouldn't be banned for using it. The set worked just like its tooltip says for months and months, and not one peep from the community. Heck, I rarely saw anyone else using it aside from myself.
The set is broken since the DB patch. Something in the calculations is clearly not working properly and is resulting in 12k+ heals from the tether, which has never been and should not be the case. It just needs a bug fix. The more you forumtards push for anything else, the more likely ZOS is to nerf the range or duration into oblivion and never fix the bug, leaving the set useless for eternity.
My guess? Something in the code is taking the CP count (501) instead of the level (50) as a parameter.
It's a bonehead mistake, but they need to consider reducing the base set effectiveness as well. It's currently 'too good' for Templars under battle spirit.
Why bother to nerf healing 50% and then give most of it right back? Again with ZOS idiocy.
I spent three hours pvping last night and tracked total healing done. Malubeth proc'd around 380 times and had an average heal of 750. There must be some bug with stacking healing buffs, because I have none besides CP and I get normal malu heals.
This is excellent information. Did you track outliers? In other words, did Malu proc with these massive heal ticks at all for you, or were all heal ticks in the 3 digits?
No, I just literally looked at total healing done on Recount after hours of pvp and divided the scourge heal totals by how many times they fired off. Last night's average was 1.1k over two hours of pvp.
It should not be mandatory for every tank and healer to be using this 2 piece armor set making you 3x (at least) harder to kill. The heal buff should grant either major or minor mending, not a separate 30% increase to your healing and the heal should be reduced by approx 50%.
I am sure I will receive a lot of backlash from those who are dependent on this set, but when I was watching a player get attacked earlier, and literally said player stood still, and his health would just keep healing back up the second he took damage.
I love that ppl are dawn breaking ppl after empowering for 18k plus, incap strikes for 13 k plus radiating ppl at 100 health for 14 k plus and reverse slicing ppl for 9700 and then worry about a set that heals you and kills... no one. We have battle spirit because of the 2 second fights. Does anyone like battle spirit?
