I wonder if a thread was made on say maulbeth, if the banhammer would drop, or if there is just 0 consistency as it seems.

Should be a safe zone until the wall comes down -- enemy die instantly inside inner keep.

Then I look at my AP per hour and it shows 160K and then I feel better about myself
Its wrong ofc, and its our issue, but its also ZOS' for breaking something so important to the game's structure
What's sad is not the 30 dead AD.
It's not even that you and the emperor are abusing unintended mechanics to ruin the PvP of other players, most of them no doubt far less experienced than the two of you.
It's your unrepentant and selfish attitude, justifying trash play simply because of your AP gain and ZoS's inability to close a game-play loophole they have been 100% consistent saying is unintentional.
Actually if ZOS hired people good at their job 3 weeks is enough to either fix it or take it out completely before letting it get to live. I never realised vids were posted about the gap closing on PTS from day 1, so the fact ZOS knew it at least a month before live and didn't do ANYTHING to stop it coming to live tells me and everyone not braindead that they in fact do not care.rfennell_ESO wrote: »rfennell_ESO wrote: »DrMoonMoon wrote: »@yodased has been the most negative and disrespectful person on this thread. You constantly engage in personal attacks against people you have never met and thus you really don't know what you are talking about. Then when that's no longer enough you whisper them. On top of all of that, your comments are laced with profanity There are other ways to discuss things instead of degrading and putting down others just because they have a different point of view. I hope you find what you are looking for in life.
By different point of view do you mean "exploiting is ok"?
And lol Yoda hasn't been the most negative and disrespectful person on this thread... He's not even close to my level of negative and disrespectful. He actually tries not to be like that, where I try to be like that most the time.
But, if you are caught cheating... you really deserve to be mocked and ridiculed (as far as the mods will allow), because lol bro you are cheating at a game that isn't single player.
I once had a friend that cheated at board games... you couldn't go to the bathroom or take your eyes off him. Bishops would change the color tile they were on, and when you caught him with two bishops on the same color his response was to sweep the board with his hand and either tell you to leave or leave himself. The reason for it was he wasn't very good and cheating was the only way to change that.
So yah, I'm saying the cheaters cheat because they aren't very good and that's their crutch.
Just like zergs ball up together because they aren't good. This is a elder scrolls game. You can do whatever tf you want to do. If you want to solo play you can solo play, if you want to play in a large group play in a large group. If i want to gap close onto some random who decided to stand right where sieges can hit him, then he deserves it. It is his fault for standing on the edge, and it is zos fault for making gap closers what they are. You pc players had a long time to test pts for stuff like this, and i know you guys reported it. No one is to blame here but a companies inability to fix the problem that later would turn into such a huge mess. There are far more important things to fix rather like the lag and constant loading screens in dungeons. Those have yet to be fixed for console.
Actually you can't gap close into keeps/outposts without it being an exploit, sorry.
The other problem you mentioned is the pts thing. The problem there is that's it's full of the cheats and exploiters that go there under the pretense of testing, but they aren't remotely interested in it past gaming the system. For PC, all the "usual suspects" are also busy on the pts. This is why exploit after exploit is used in the game immediately after a patch.
Plus the PTS isn't like some magical place, its 3 weeks before the patch goes live to get real-world tests of their code.
I mean, you would hope they have internal testing teams that have already identified all these bugs and they are working on replicating them and squashing them and the PTS is not their sole source of bug investigation.
Use a third party program to hack the game and ruin leaderboards? No biggie, welcome back cheaters. Press the wrong button while you're reticle is hovering over an enemy player? You're out. Makes sense.

No. This is not that.
You can not get away with saying that the only person in trouble for this got in trouble for THIS.
That person was/is a completely toxic variable to the situation. The blatant disregard for rules and disrespect of the other people playing the game is what got the ban.
The gap closing/emp trolling incident simply incited the inquiry into the players behavior.
You do not get to say this person was banned because they gap closed into a keep, that is not correct.

A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game, using aspects of the game in unintended ways.[1] A griefer derives pleasure primarily or exclusively from the act of annoying other users, and as such is a particular nuisance in online gaming communities, since griefers often cannot be deterred by penalties related to in-game goals.[2]

You guys are like the Faith Militant. Can't wait until you convince ZoS to start throwing out punishment for animation canceling or some other nonsense.

I appreciate you thinking I have some sort of influence over zos. I mean i suck that much at pvp I must be a forum emperor
I don't want anyone to be punished, sir. I want players to make the active choice to play fair

On my Templar, I have Healing Ward in slot 3 and then Toppling Charge in the same spot on my other bar. There have been a number of times where swap has failed and I've charged someone instead of casting ward. With lag, this can happen. How does one go about looking up and pressing your gap closer hotkey accidentally? Usually I'm aware enough to know what keybinds are my range attacks/defensive abilities.
