For starters if you have a character in a major hub city you might as well forget about logging into it. If your lucky enough to not get instantly kicked to dashboard, take about 10 steps. You might, and it's a big might, be able to collect your vet pledge in the early morning NA hours.

So when you get the undaunted vet pledge, be prepared for random long load screens inside the dungeons. It must be something new ZOS is trying. When your about ready to give up, you will come out of it and advance into a mob of invisible monsters. No worries, if you throw caltrops down you can attack the damage numbers that pop up.

If your a guild leader, new challenges await. Deposit history list is blank. Makes it so much easier to keep track of who is paying rent for the guild trader. Best of all, if you need to go through your entire roster to promote/demote you'll be bumped to the top of your screen. It's been like that since orsinium, but much worse now even if you narrow your field

The most unbearable out of all of these is the constant crashes to dashboard. When you spend an hour a day just on re-logs, it makes you wonder if it's worth it.

The final rant goes back to random loading screens in the Gold Coast. Is this normal traveling around the world to have several?

I know I need to learn to play, and thank you for welcoming me to mmos, and yes someday I'll join the master race of pc, perhaps I probably also need to learn to read and learn to search threads lol.

Thank you for your feedback, @johu31. The crashes to dashboard, long loading screens, and general increase in performance issues we're seeing reports of since the Dark Brotherhood launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 earlier this week are a priority and something we're working to resolve as soon as possible. What you and others are experiencing is not the norm, and we apologize for the frustration. For some players, closing all apps has helped, but we're working on a more permanent solution.
I literally spent an hour in the same spot in kvatch just trying to leave the church during after the fight but i kept getting kicked after taking ONE step ang getting thrown into an endless loading screen. Its as bad as orsinium.. Any guess on an eta because im not playing this anymore until there is
Btw im still in kvatch on my main and unable to leave w out getting dashboarded
May the Schwartz be with you.

All due respect, because most people here really like you Jessica, and I don't hold you personally accountable for it, but this is the same soothsaying that's been pitched to us for months. This is almost verbatim every single email I've ever received from ZOS.

These issues that console players are experiencing? This is what PC players spent three months dealing with after TG hit live. The only course of action that affords a playable experience on PC anymore is the 64bit client (which finally works, thank the Eight), and even then it's the same problems on a smaller scale.

Please reference Ticket # RX 80712342 and you'll see what I mean. In hindsight, I wish I'd not wasted all that time and effort troubleshooting and sharing my findings, because at the end of the day I was told, "Sorry your'e experiencing so many issues. You've exhausted all of our troubleshooting attempts. Wait it out for DB and hopefully it's fixed." If you do investigate that ticket, you'll soon realize that the information and datamining I did and provided to ZOS is exactly what you guys need to begin resolving the issue. I was told it would be escalated... but who knows?

For the record, it's now DB and it's not fixed. It's only trickled to consoles as well.

My crafter was trapped at the elden way shrine for a couple days. I sorta liveblogged my pain in another thread.

I logged him on this morning before work, to see if it was quiet enough to escape.
First attempt, a few seconds after appearing I crashed.
Second attempt, upon appearing I sprinted toward the first door I could see - nearly made it before crashing again.
Third attempt, upon appearing I mounted (full 60% speed upgrade) and hit the rapids while sprinting, managed to get away from the tree entryway before a 'unusually long loading time' screen halted me for a while. When it went away, I hauled arse further from the tree and managed to travel to riften - which is a cadwell's area for me and should be fairly empty.

In my experience, if a zone is slow to load, the worst thing you can do is to speed through it. As you move, it forces the game to draw new areas, and if you move fast, it's forcing it to load up new areas at a rate faster than it can keep up--and that's when you get the loading screens. Moving slower--not sprinting/galloping--will actually help you with your "escape".

It's never been this bad. I've had crashes and "your network sucks" (according to ZOS anyway) disconnects, the good old black shadows In cities, but I never really had FPS issues before DB. Now I get what looks like 10 FPS pretty much anywhere with over 5 people...

As far as turning in writs I'm am having better luck wayshrining outside and running in the back door. When I went to get my daily pledge I did the same at eldenroot and ran around the tree. Only crashed once.

I will repost these links in this thread, since it's a collection of the issues... Here are two loading screen examples.

Reaper's March, heading to a crafting station, I got a loading screen (6/15):

Marbruk, on my way to the Wayshrine after doing my horse training, I got two loading screens (6/16):
    http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/SolarCat02/video/18635994

These are just the ones I recorded. I average 3 disconnects and 15-20 random loading screens per 5 hours of play time a night.

Update: nope. I guess she's stuck there. Literally can't load that character. My other main is in Riften, which (other than players and npc's not loading for 10-15 seconds...I can load into.)

I'm unsure what to do other than what I've done. I have no apps open, great internet, I've hard reset every time. I just can't get my character to load in Wrothgar. This happened in Grahtwood the other day, tbh. I literally don't know what to do to get her out.

I was trapped in Elden Root the first day but then managed to escape. My other characters were all in open areas and have been fine but the crafter, after escaping and crafting the new set her sister needed, got trapped again in Elden Root at the wayshrine while trying to get to the bank. Dang, I wanted that Seducer set and she's the only one who knows all the traits. hmmmph! I really wish I could transfer the research to a different character or share it with her sisters (and big brother).

I tried 4 times this afternoon before I gave up. She's facing the center and can't turn around or back up or anything. As soon as I touch the move stick the screen freezes, then eventually goes to back and I'm back on the Dashboard again. Maybe in the morning when everyone is asleep? Or should I set and alarm and try in the middle of the night? That is one good thing about an MMO...NPCs never sleep.

Sounds like console players are having a heck of a time.
There have indeed been more crashes on PC than usual, but not to the extent you lot experience, in fact the general performance has increased (on a 64bit client) in comparison. But hey, at least we have hackers to spice things up ;) Dunno if that's better or worse.

Am I the only one who seems to have had a better experience in cyrodil after the DB patch? I played in scourge while all 3 alliances were pop-locked and only got the bad frame drops and latency near zergs or when entering keeps. I actually homed scourge because all 3 alliances have rarely reached pop lock at once even during prime time the past few weeks.

I do notice that their is an unusual amount of lag, low frames, and tons of loading screens in any major citys like deshaan, the rift, even shadowfen had lag. I had to move my bank alts (mules) to windhelm just to reliably log in to them as needed.

I got the best response from support.

    Hello,
To help resolve an issue where you are crashing to your Dashboard, please do the following:
    1. Turn on Xbox
    2. Disconnect it from the Internet
    3. Clear your Save Data (instructions below)
    4. Open ESOTU and Press A and see if the issue persists.
If it does, proceed to the following:
    1. Reconnect your Console to the Internet
    2. Restart your Console
    3. Clear the game entirely off your Xbox - Including Cloud Save (use the Delete Everywhere option)
    4. Reinstall Game

So apparently someone doesn't know the meaning of "online" lol :)

*** reinstalling near 90GBs. That's nearly a whole day wasted.

Please contact Xbox support instead. No reason to uninstall a game entirely due to this.

Deleting the save cache and your profile....maybe are normal support steps but deleting the game.....when everyone is having the same experience on two platforms.....Naah
