I literally spent an hour in the same spot in kvatch just trying to leave the church during after the fight but i kept getting kicked after taking ONE step ang getting thrown into an endless loading screen. Its as bad as orsinium.. Any guess on an eta because im not playing this anymore until there isZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »For starters if you have a character in a major hub city you might as well forget about logging into it. If your lucky enough to not get instantly kicked to dashboard, take about 10 steps. You might, and it's a big might, be able to collect your vet pledge in the early morning NA hours.
So when you get the undaunted vet pledge, be prepared for random long load screens inside the dungeons. It must be something new ZOS is trying. When your about ready to give up, you will come out of it and advance into a mob of invisible monsters. No worries, if you throw caltrops down you can attack the damage numbers that pop up.
If your a guild leader, new challenges await. Deposit history list is blank. Makes it so much easier to keep track of who is paying rent for the guild trader. Best of all, if you need to go through your entire roster to promote/demote you'll be bumped to the top of your screen. It's been like that since orsinium, but much worse now even if you narrow your field
The most unbearable out of all of these is the constant crashes to dashboard. When you spend an hour a day just on re-logs, it makes you wonder if it's worth it.
The final rant goes back to random loading screens in the Gold Coast. Is this normal traveling around the world to have several?
I know I need to learn to play, and thank you for welcoming me to mmos, and yes someday I'll join the master race of pc, perhaps I probably also need to learn to read and learn to search threads lol.

Thank you for your feedback, @johu31. The crashes to dashboard, long loading screens, and general increase in performance issues we're seeing reports of since the Dark Brotherhood launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 earlier this week are a priority and something we're working to resolve as soon as possible. What you and others are experiencing is not the norm, and we apologize for the frustration. For some players, closing all apps has helped, but we're working on a more permanent solution.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom It's pretty much the same on PC:
- Take wayshrine to city
- Everyone is just a black outline
- Start running somewhere
- After about 30 meters, loading screen
- Twiddle your thumbs, whistle, refill your whiskey
- You're back, people have color now
- Open the door to the bank
- Everyone is just a black outline
- Start running towards the banker
- Right before reaching the banker, loading screen
- Twiddle your thumbs, whistle, refill your whiskey
- ...

A good whiskey and a smoke is quite a nice way to relax though... lolJazbay_Grape wrote: »you'reIf your lucky ... When your about ... If your a guild leader

This ^ sums it up perfectly for me, except I replace the whiskey with smoking. I might need to do both now though.
The bolded part was probably unneeded, but it is what it is...DRXHarbinger wrote: »ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »For starters if you have a character in a major hub city you might as well forget about logging into it. With the exception of twitch all apps on xbox close after 5 mins of playing a game anyway, sorry but you've been saying this and repeating this since IC launch and you just pass the issue from one segment to another, ZOS' word on fixing and prioritising things are as bad your interpretation of Metrics (check burning embers and tell me if that's 5m) should be the width of the island on round 3 vma. You've done it again America, mixed feet with Meters, it cost you a landing probe before you know. Point being poor basic math = poor basic programming.

My crafter was trapped at the elden way shrine for a couple days. I sorta liveblogged my pain in another thread.
I logged him on this morning before work, to see if it was quiet enough to escape.
First attempt, a few seconds after appearing I crashed.
Second attempt, upon appearing I sprinted toward the first door I could see - nearly made it before crashing again.
Third attempt, upon appearing I mounted (full 60% speed upgrade) and hit the rapids while sprinting, managed to get away from the tree entryway before a 'unusually long loading time' screen halted me for a while. When it went away, I hauled arse further from the tree and managed to travel to riften - which is a cadwell's area for me and should be fairly empty.

I have been playing since launch on PS4. I would respectfully disagree. This IS the norm. Not trying to be a jerk, but this is happening more often than not.
Sounds like console players are having a heck of a time.
There have indeed been more crashes on PC than usual, but not to the extent you lot experience, in fact the general performance has increased (on a 64bit client) in comparison. But hey, at least we have hackers to spice things upDunno if that's better or worse.
I got the best response from support.
Hello,
To help resolve an issue where you are crashing to your Dashboard, please do the following:
1. Turn on Xbox
2. Disconnect it from the Internet
3. Clear your Save Data (instructions below)
4. Open ESOTU and Press A and see if the issue persists.
If it does, proceed to the following:
1. Reconnect your Console to the Internet
2. Restart your Console
3. Clear the game entirely off your Xbox - Including Cloud Save (use the Delete Everywhere option)
4. Reinstall Game
So apparently someone doesn't know the meaning of "online" lol
