    Thank you again

Was ok for me, but that possibly explains why we can't find the Foolish Wings. Could be the came crap.

Thank you to everyone who put the locations up for the guild books!

    I'm left with the following:

Edvilda's Log Book - Part of Mirri's Quests, so that'll come up soon
Foolish Wings - Same as everyone there's no news on it's location
Onimiril's Writings - Part of Mirri's Quests, so that'll come up soon

Reman II: The Limits of Ambition - Murkmire bookshelves.... boy I'm bored of looking for that one!

Development of the Hollow - In Blight Bog Sump but I cannot find it at all! (0.302, 0.51)

Rite of the Scion - Apparently in the Blood Matron's Crypt during the vampire quest, but nothing again! (0.741, 0.599)

Missing Miners - Says at the Bitterblade Mining Consortium in Dusktown but again nothing showing (0.401, 0.793)

A Quest of Sand, Snow, and Blood - No doubt during the next Impressario event
An Invitation to Elsweyr - As above

If anyone can help me with the three I've given the x and y coordinates on as I'm on PS4 and can't see them!, Just a screenshot of the location would help?

    Thank you fellow book hunters!

Was Reman II not a bookshelf book? It is random where they appear, you just have to try and read all the books in the one sitting.

If anyone knows the alternate location for the Tale of the Dauntless Bananas, I would be very appreciative.

The location in Victory Tavern is bugged in all three campaigns that are open to me. Porting away and back multiple times did not fix it in any campaign.

ETA: Interestingly, decreasing view distance to 0 caused the table and bananas to disappear when I went to the door, but the book itself remained visible on the floor.

The guild itself got physical copies like it seems. Reading such a copy in one of the player houses works for every alliance. ;)

For your other problem.... i know there are many "solutions" with walking away and forward and so on... but it's hard to say, sometimes it works, mostly not. I found a way where it worked to a 100% for me and everyone who tried it out (so far, i wont say forever :D)
If you stand in some range of the bugged book (its underneath and you can see its glowing, which happens on most books in cyro for me).... you press <ALT + F4>, kill the eso64.exe in taskmanager and relog in. If you do it in a certain time (you have some minutes, you just have to spawn at the same place, if you wait 10 minutes e.g. you spawn at your home base sometims and not at your actual location). The book is now readable. No joke, give it a try.

If you are at the enemy scroll temple, go outside around a corner and hide and make sure you dont have aggro of guards, so you are not dead when you relog in. You dont have to be really close, range of view distance is enough.

Edit: just to repeat... really press ALT+F4 to kill the game, dont just logout and in like normal.
Log out doesnt work, ALT+F4 does.

"Serum Infusion Report" (Sil-Var-Woad in Summerset) is still unavailable to any characters who completed the quest without grabbing it (unlike most other items; I also couldn't grab it while in the quest with one character but no problems with another).

This has been bugged for years, any chance to fix it for those of us with older characters still in play? Thanks! (I have tried grouping with the quest for it, no go on characters it doesn't work for as-is).

I thought I missed that one and had to go back for it? ait was a while ago when Summerset had just come out, but I know I went back later for a bit of paper. I went back just before and I cannot read the quest book on that bookshelf now, but maybe it was not on the bookshelf? I could read all the others just fine. My main character read it the first time and something went wrong, never gave her credit. Is it bugged for you or is it just you never went back in? Although the door is locked when you finish the quest you can still easily get back in the building. When you go down the path from the wayshrine(top northern one) keep going straight till you come to the Duneripper enclosure, there is a rock den with a dune ripper in there, you can jump up the left side and get onto the walkway. Jump down and go through the gate on the right? Then go back into the building.

I can confirm that it at least was available by going back post-quest. I have missed it initially, too, because once you read some specific one, next quest stage is triggered and you can't read the "wrong" ones anymore, so had it missing for a WHILE, until someone mentioned you can jump back in.

Thanks for the tip that guild members have physical copies of these notes. I was able to pick up A Tale of the Dauntless Bananas by sneaking into the house uninvited :P through a script that allows you to do this without adding the player as a friend. (/ script JumpToHouse ("@ playername"))
Thanks to him for leaving this note in a prominent place, although it was still difficult to find as such a note does not stand out.
It is a pity that this method will not work for the players NA of the mega-server. Hopefully the game has a copy for other alliances.

Naming other players without their knowledge or consent might fall afoul of forum rules. It’s generally considered “naming and shaming” even if there’s no real shaming involved.

    You spoke too soon @MreeBiPolar

I have done this on multiple characters, tagging ZOS is justified Don't like it? Click block.

You could go back in very easily, I Figured that out without visiting the forums. The issue is when you do go back, after a certain point it is no longer available to characters who have formerly completed the quest. There may have been a time frame after release where it was, but that is not currently the case and hasn't been for quite a while.

    This still needs addressing.

FYI, I have completed it but not on the character that finished the quest already. I have been able to get back in nearly the entire time (up on the rocks, fairly easy), but that is currently only helpful on characters with the quest in progress. I joined a friend who took the quest and that didn't help either. We need to have the actual quest, so this one in specific should be obtainable after the quest but it is not.

This one has been going on for years now though, so let's hope it gets addressed! Either way, it's not urgent but you'd think after years it would have been patched lol.

ZOS has always taken the approach that lorebooks need to be accessible to all factions (without needing to go into other people’s houses or other workarounds). Of course some have been inaccessible for a while due to long-standing bugs (which hit books, both PvP and PvE, as well as everything else in game). But ZOS has considered it a bug when lorebooks have not been accessible to all factions and have (eventually) fixed that when it has happened.

Several other lorebooks are behind the AD inner gate where EP and DC cannot go under any circumstances. All of them have second locations where EP and DC *can* go. Same with the other factions and their lorebooks.

Just because no one has yet posted a non-AD location for this one doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. And if it doesn’t, then that is a bug. It doesn’t justify possibly breaking forum rules to get around it, though. Time will tell if there is a second location or if ZOS needs to add one.

Just because no one has yet posted a non-AD location for this one doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. And if it doesn’t, then that is a bug. It doesn’t justify possibly breaking forum rules to get around it, though. Time will tell if there is a second location or if ZOS needs to add one.

I personally ran the entire zone between the AD base and the main wall and none book. Or it's quite cleverly hidden in the faction bases. Who knows them there.

I was writing a few ingame mails back and forth with the guild lead of the Dauntless Bananas regarding this specific topic, also asking if it is ok, to post the specific housing information (which includes the actual account names), and I received their blessing. I also provided the link to this forum thread in my mail for their reference. I will still put the actual information in a spoiler tag, so it does not stand out directly :).
The "Tale of the Dauntless Bananas" book is up for display in two houses. In order to travel, use either one of the following commands in chat:
    /script JumpToHouse("@Caffinated_Mouse")
    /script JumpToHouse("@Lyssa8521")

As mentioned before, the books are not glowing, so you will need to pay attention to the interaction popup. And this is only a workaround for PC-EU unfortunately. PC-NA is still screwed.

Unfortunately, running the entire zone doesn't mean much. You could have easily missed it, especially if it's bugged the same way as the "original" one. Did you pay attention to any loose bananas though? :)

Not to mention some DC and EP lorebooks behind their bases are not in the areas past their gates. Some are in other keeps around Cyro, not behind the gates.

This book could be anywhere in Cyro.

Huh, no. But can be bugged like book in scroll temple in AD. You know is there but you can use because are under texture and you must do relog trick near this to get.

It is possible that it may be in one of the taverns in Cyrtodiil (Flower you similar to plant in Blackreach Skyrim (remember 30 to finish quest) (?))

ZOS has always taken the approach that lorebooks need to be accessible to all factions (without needing to go into other people’s houses or other workarounds).

Actually, no. Definitely not always. The two faction base books were put outside alliance bases at least 3 years into the game, after a LOT of complaints.

The Dauntless Bananas book in AD base is also bugged that way -- it falls under the table and you need to relogin to access it. At least, I had to on my AD char.

Apart from two notes from future events (there are 2 of them), I only need "Foolish Wings" to have everything from the library.

@erdbeerheld Thanks for nick name with "Bananas book"

So Midyear Mayhem has started, and I'm not seeing the 'A Quest of Sand, Snow, and Blood' scroll/book anywhere near the Impressario nor the Predicant at my Alliance Base. Am I blind? I checked that it wasn't given from the Crown store quest, so it's not that. The title of the book seems like it should be for this event, am I mistaken?

This note will be avaible in next event for Craglorn, Wrothgar and if i remember correctly Imperial City.

Ahh okay, some kind of combined event for the anniversary of those DLCs? Thank you!

I think that's Thieves' Guild , Orsinium and Dark Brotherhood (DLCs), so Hew's Bane, Wrothgar and Gold Coast respectively (sand, snow and blood).

Those (plus IC, which I don't think will be part of that event because its event is NOW, and because there are just three parts in the title) were the Year One DLCs. I don't think Craglorn will be a part of said event, either.

Huh, i test this quest on PTS and this what you must do:
    "Complete Any Craglorn World Event",
"Kill Any Wrothgar Delve or World Boss",
"Visit Any Striking Locale in Wrothgar",
    "Kill Any Imperial City Boss",

So Craglorn, Wrothagr and Imperial City

    And this say all:
    | |alTravel to Craglorn, Orsinium, and Imperial City, to celebrate content from Year One of ESO

    • Complete daily quests in Craglorn, Orsinium, and Imperial City to earn Reward Boxes

    • Earn Event Tickets from daily quests

    • Check the |cFFFFFFImpresario|r for unique rewards

The only ones I'm missing now are "Foolish Wings" from Blackwood and the "Journal of Justiciar Avanaire" from Summerset in Tor-Hame-Khard.

I am going to guess Foolish wings is bugged and not appearing where it's supposed to since no one has seen it yet. With the journal, has anyone found it in the overland post-quest since the update? If not, I'm sure both will be fixed in the future.
