I am still missing on some of my chars:

-Healing Herbs of Northwest Tamriel (got that with some chars, for others it seems phased out in Rivenspire)
-Valyia's Cargo Manifest (phased out for some chars, for other chars it's at the expected location near the gorge)

Found Valyia's Cargo Manifest today near the expected location near the Gorge. In addition I found Captain Black Sword's Journal near Trapjaw's Cove in Glenumbra and Seeking Tenant in the Stormhold Bank.

..and it's still there in the Mageguild in Deeshan and can be read and the prequel quest started although you already started the official Clockwork quest line.

So it's just Healing Herbs of Northwest Tamriel, Snowmead's Missive, Mauloch Orc-Father and Letter to Baloth Bloodtusk missing now.

Found Healing Herbs of Northwest Tamriel today at the expected location in Rivenspire (Lorebook addon location) and Letter to Baloth Bloodtusk (Greedy Gut in Orsinium, just when you enter left on the Chef's table).

Still missing on some chars:

-Mauloch, Orc-Father: Lore and Culture (inside the ruins in Malabal Tor, not accessable after quest)

Searched through the whole area but couldn't find a replacement location for that book.

-Snowmead's Missive (phased out for some chars at the expected location in Eastmarch, maybe there is a new location? Usually it was right from the road otw from Fort Amol to Lost Knive Cave )

For Mauloch Orc-Father have you tried going in the rear entrance? I think only the front one is inaccessible after the quest.

Novice Oscard's Notes are also in the bank in the Brass Fortress on top of a barrel.

@KingMagaw When you did the quest did the book not register in Eidetic Memory for you?

I have no idea where to look for Snowmead's but they did say they fixed it...


I am now only missing ONE eidetic book: Pierced Note in Mysteries and Clues!

@Mix - I completed the quest - and i am almost sure i read/stole it to complete the quest, it is the only char i done the quest on, but yet still shows as unread and on my map also.

Maybe i send in bug report to ZOS, not sure what else i can do

Same here, tried everything from getting a friend to do the quest and follow him to retracing the entire quest on an alt looking for a post-quest location.

If you can find the notes neither in the Shadow Cleft nor in the bank, it should be mentioned that this is a part of a daily quest. You have to wait until it will pop up for you.

Pierced Note is bugged, yes.

Introduction to Aedric Studies, as far as I know, can only be found in Imperial City bookshelves.

As others mentioned above, a less rude song - you can find in cwc bookshelves.

Love letter to aishah - I vaguely remember that I got it on east side of IC - was it arboretum??

So I'm just missing Pierced Note from the Mysteries and Clues collection and Snowmead's Missive from the Notes and Memos collection.

I'm not sure why they'd only 'fix' it for those who were currently 'doing the quest or still holding the quest' and not for those who had 'completed' the quest. I wouldn't consider that fixed lol

Snowmead's Missive
Not able to get this after having completed the quest in Lost Knife Cave in Eastmarch.

Practical Necromancy
Not achieveable after having completed the quest "A Walk Above the Clouds" in The Rift. Supposed to be on/near the body of a cultist named Nordahl, at the first bonfire after having scaled the ladder leading up to Forelhost. All other lorebooks associated with this quest has been placed at the bottom of the ladder but it seems this one was left out.

Nahirah's Journal
Should be placed in a house in Satakalaam in Alik'r Desert but it is not there for me, must be a bug with either phasing or because I finished the quest without picking it up. Looking up the associated quest, one of the quest objectives is to read the journal so it could either be that it bugged out for me and the other guy posting about it in this thread on page 15, or that it is another case of a quest item being placed in your inventory which you miss out on if you do not interact with it.

Letter to Baloth Bloodtusk
Seems like a mistake that this wasn't placed next to King Joile's Orders to General Mercedene (which was fixed recently) in Honor's Rest in Wrothgar, seeing as they are both from the same quest and inaccesible after the quest for the same reason. Another case of the developer being too fast in fixing lorebook location/phasing and not getting all of them at once.
- After having updated my addon tracking lorebooks a new marker was added and this particular lorebook was found inside The Greedy Gut inn in Orsinium directly to your left, as your enter, on the counter. A rather strange place to locate this lorebook seeing as its counter part is still located at the actual questing area after having done the quest.

Plea to Maximus
Doesn't seem to be present in the game but related to another note "An Irate Employer" that is written by Maximinus To Foreman Albanus refusing his request for guards, this book is found at an abandoned lumber camp south of Wilminn's Winery in Cyrodiil.
- Has appearently been removed from the game and can no longer be located in Eidetic Memory.

Sadrith Mora Tax Records
Found some of the other tax records lorebooks on the upper level of one of the cantons in Vivec City but this wasn't among them.
- Achieved during "Tax Records" daily quest from Vivec City as an interactible quest item in the inventory; but still not recoverable after having completed quest like the other two tax record lorebooks which are placed next to the quest NPC.

Barilzar's Hireling
Unobtainable after having completed associated quest, which was part of the Vvardenfell main story quest line. I believe it was a quest item in inventory that I missed out on clicking.
- Located in Barilzar's Tower after completing the main quest. Not sure if this was just bugged for me last time I checked or if it was fixed recently.

Lord Vivec's Questions
Seems unobtainable after having completed Vvardenfell main story quest line. I think it is connected to one of the first quests in the story line where you help the dunmer in the burial tomb with adressing an ancestor, before you even get to Vivec City and meet Vivec.
- Located in the final chamber of the Andrano Ancestral Tomb in Vvardenfell (like expected). I went through this tomb before and didn't find it but after having updated addons today and noticing that my lorebook addon placed the book here instead of somewhere else and I decided to take a look. Must have either recently been fixed or it was a personal bug with phasing.

If anyone has found the location of one of these lorebooks after having completed the associated quests/events feel free to provide feedback - but to the best of my knowledge these are all bugged. They have all been reported using the ingame option.

Edited my original post with clarification - the NPC is located in the Saint Delyn Plaza and has 2/3 of the lorebooks from the quest sitting next to her if you already completed the quest. Saint Delyn is the first canton directly northwest of Vive'c canton/palace. As detailed in my original post in order to get the remaining tax record lorebook you need to interact with it while it is in your inventory during the quest - if you're missing all three and can pick up the quest obviously you would just interact with all three of them.

This is just another case of some developer being told to move certain lorebooks, so they could be obtained after quest, and he didn't bother to check up on all lorebooks contained in the quest. As the case is with the quest(s) at Honor's Rest in Wrothgar where only 1/2 lorebooks were recently fixed or the quest(s) at Forelhost in The Rift where one of the lorebooks from the quest line is still missing while the others were fixed quite a while ago. I suspect they just get a list of lorebooks that they need to place in a certain phase/location and then do not bother to check up on anything else related to the quest - it's a kind of lazy approach but I guess as with every other job the list of things to fix just keeps piling up if you don't just cut it short sometimes.

Do you mean there is no need to find it or that we need to find it before it gets removed?
Either way I cannot locate it in my Eidetic Memory as missing so it seems like it was removed - I have edited my original post to reflect this.

The letter is the book. Its post quest location is in Bruma in Cyrodiil. In the main house. You can read it from your inventory after accepting the quest.

I am still seeking To Warlord Ice-Heart part of the invitation to orsinium quest chain. Any help with this note would be much appreciated as I am down to missing only 4.

Oh and where have people had the best luck finding "Excerpt from the book of seasons" if they did not read it in the palace. Keep having to break into everyone's houses to read their bookshelves and still no luck.
