Doing the new quests and PvPing since the patch I figured out that now it takes more time to light attack cancel and bash cancel. The worst is the light attack + wrecking blow what I've experienced so far.
With these stupid changes I feel that just every skill goes off much slower, and I feel my character so inefficient, I feel impossible to 1vX in this patch, however I could easily fight multiple enemies in the previous patch.
Please tell me guys how do you feel the combat since the last patch?

    really dislike the new animations. Leap is completely borked. reverse slice feels more like my toon stumbled then he actually swang something.This was a step in the wrong direction in many ways.

    It noticed little to no difference, but I guess that being used to having high latency at all times might have something to do with it.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.

    I dont see any melee cancelers having any issues as i am currently being spammed to death before i can react properly as always. I can say this though, i have noticed a HUGE positive change in lag and fps drops during large battles in pvp. So i love that fact at least lol

    My skills seem kinda laggy now, much less responsive: for example, I had to literally spam ultimate button to drop my ulti.

    I like the new animations overall. Yes things feel a little slower, but they did this so that it's easier to identify which animations are going off during hectic combat. It will likely take some getting used to, it's only the first couple days so not surprising that some people are upset because it feels "slow".

    This video shows just normal light attacking and then "weaving" light attacks with an ability, you start to see the light attack start locking and wont go off after awhile. You also notice there is a considerable amount of delay between light attacking and using your ability

    This last video is what I am experiencing whenever I am trying to play, all my abilities are locking up, and bugging out as well, my light attacks barely go off and they stop my casts at some point.

    Definitely slower.

    Seems to me it's more efficient now to button mash fast cast skills like Funnel health instead of Light weaving Concealed Weapon.

      Why--WHY--would they degrade combat like this? It's one of the few GOOD features in this game.

      Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

      DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

      As a PvE tank, it actually felt like my heavy attacks were charging fully just a bit faster. Combined with some of the sped up abilities, it feels even faster overall to me.

      I hate using AC.

      Now it's more like CANCEL ANIMATION PERIOD.

      Two things. Most other mmorpgs that I have played had blocking and roll dodging. None of the Class skills were broken animations.

      Secondly to those that support AC because it favours total DPS. Gamers that depend on ability instead of spreadsheet calculations, stats/builds/numbers will always be better than you. And their pvp videos are more exciting. Well... in other games. Not in Elder Spreadsheet

      iam not an animation cancel-er, but the combat indeed feel much slower and sluggish, especially with 2 handed weapon

      and gap closer skill like critical rush feel much much slower and floaty

      You people should have seen it comming. They are removing things players enjoy. It's almost as if they want people to leave the game. Just look at the test dummy NPC. Such a handy feature, and many players utilizing it, since ZOS has yet to give us actual dummies. Then they remove it. Then they slow down combat even though that was one of the best features of the game.

      I think ZOS is killing ESO on purpose.

      Well, apparently the framework has changed.

      Although Id rather they decided on one option and stuck with it. Either have AC, and have it work well or remove it completely.

      From stam dk point of view, it feels alot smoother with light atk rotations in between flurry and dots, even better with bow light atks between autocast ground dots

      the combat feels so slow, sometimes I don't know what happen. I don't feel I have full control over my char.

      Some examples I have experienced last night.

      Topling Chrage: Sometimes I bypass enemies 3 to 5 meters, than I hit them. And it is slower.
      Dawnbreaker does not work sometimes, after pressing it multiple times.
      My Dawnbreker procs with delay.

      Please Zenimax give us the old combat system back, it was so much fun, it was so smooth, so fast.

      Animation cancelling was so easy that i thought it was part of the game by design.
      I learned to "weave" by myself in PvE, and did it naturally. I didn't know the name until a guild mate told me.
      It makes the combat feel so fast, so powerful, SO GOOOOOOOD.

      I run all the time with a latency of 250 upwards and doing animation cancelling with this kind of latency is impossible,

      I am kinda glad that animation cancelling is not working as it was as now i kinda stand a chance against it.

      TBH i didnt noticed any changes to animation cancel, maybe its because i mainly cancel with block.

      "Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter.
