[Permabans being lifted] ZOS how are we as a community dealing with exploits/hacking?

Meanwhile ZOS, how about you get rid of that scrub's vMSA scores? He probably couldn't even finish it before Cheat Engine.

Seeing those scores at #1 is an absolute disgrace to every legit player who have worked hard to compete on that leaderboard.

Yep ZOS needs to cather the "hurt feelings" and "I'm offended" crowds in a pegi18 game. They should change pegi18 to PegiMentally18.

I mean ban exploiters when some argonian roleplayer is offended he can't roleplay his way through a dungeon? Where are your priorities people?

I understand not mentioning the names in the posts. But I am at a loss at why video of game play is not allowed, if it does not show how to replicate an exploit. This is downright pathetic and ridiculous that you do not have the balls as a company to perma-ban exploiters. I can show you the email from zos. Account in question had max cp, had been active and subbed since beta and had most of the available crown store items at the time

Lawl, glad this is a game. At least in a game, if someone who broke the rules is let off of permaban to play again, I can't be hurt.

In real life, you'd have put a guy who had an illegal firearm in my neighborhood.

I think ZOS has many talented employees, but as a company, it has extremely poor ethics. Not only do we see this in how it addresses cheating, but also in how it releases extremely buggy DLCs before they are ready. Every update brings severe issues that take months or more to fix. 2.3 was a nightmare for weeks. We are still dealing with a (approx) 50% FPS drop bug and Cyrodiil LOD issues introduced in 2.2.

This is a company that shows its customers very little respect.

I think it starts at the top with Matt Firor. I would like to see him replaced.

Now now children. You're overlooking the critical life lesson in all this.

Cheaters always win.

I'm relatively new to the game compared to some. Even went ESO+ because I liked the game in spite of it's failings. But this? This isn't a failure of the game. This is a failure of the company; a violation of the trust and good faith that we put in them for keeping their game fair and to punish those who break the rules.

Apparently that faith was misplaced. Live and learn.

It's sad really. As much as I have enjoyed this game and as much as it continues to appeal to me, I won't be renewing my subscription. Maybe they'll change by the time it lapses, but based on my past experiences with MMO's I'm not going to hold my breath.

I don't know why you guys are even asking for them to say something. You know dam well that whatever they have to say is just them *** anyways.

It will be really pretty and sound great, but be 100% empty. It will be fluffy and flowy and be nothing more than verbal vomit. Trust me, I can write up some super pretty, fluffy, full of crap sentences for my job too. I already have the gist of the statement they will put out on this. Because that's what it will be, a carefully constructed statement.

I know this is just a stupid game. But I thought better of it. Just keep throwing out these slimy and gross decisions, THAT is why people have no faith and why at least some people leave. They can say whatever they want at this point, I'm not drinking the kool aid anymore.
