I am very sure you can imagine what that stunt did to /zone and the very few players online at the time. What is fun for you, isn't necessarily fun for everyone else.
Your deed was kicking the dog that already was licking its wounds. If you're tagteamed all the time, it wears you down. That means even more reds on ebony switch sides or campaigns. We are thinking of doing it as well.
Player behaviour like this is what generates the DE or prootch reaction. Player behaviour like this is what generates buff campaigns. Player behaviour like this triggers stunts like nightcapping all map red by "exploiting" into inner keeps.
What do you gain if all that remains is some scrubs in one faction? How about instead of doing what you did, you relog on your red toon with a couple of your friends and help reds to get their feet back on the ground?
That would make much more sense than griefing a faction that by now is depleted of any good, organized guild.
Trust me, if I had a red toon I'd be playing there, being part of DC sucks big time nowadays.
Join me and @RinaldoGandolphi! Usually it's just 2dk's and my sorry-ass templar trying to take on more than we can chew (though we picked up a pocket healer!). Sometimes we help at defense and gank reinforcement lanes. But we keep it real; no drama except bombard-spama.

If you get zerged then be pissed off there is no small scale alternative (hint @ZOS hint) but stop hating on the players for it. Folks are trying to take keeps and landmarks, not deal with your 1v1 dueling you put right in the middle of an active war zone path. Get a clue and move you dueling to an unused PVE area.
On top of that unless you challenged my friends to a duel before hand stop with the salty tells when we double, triple, etc team you or your group. Sorry my support build made your plan to stealth away and that my debuffs reduced your armor and healing enough for a buddy to come up and finish the job. That's kind of the point though; working in a group that compliments each other and making sure a ganker isn't denying us reinforcements on the front lin.
Seriously, stop with the cry baby "talentless scrub" stuff as well. If you're playing with full gold gear, top level CP, and working with the meta damage build of the current patch, are you really that talented? Or are you crying because your over advantage still couldn't let you walk like an invincible god to AP farm for all the gold you spent?
As for the OP's post, the big issue I see there that I wish @ZOS would address is the meta faction farming for Emperorship and scroll delivering. Both ruin the meta for the game, but sadly I don't know what can be done. Maybe reduced AP gain for kills on the same account that excess an amount in an hour? Maybe something to vote return scrolls from folks on your faction? Not sure, but certainly annoying.

Someone needs a happy pill this morning.
I confess I regularly whisper EP who send 10-12 to dogpile me and teabag me. Admit it, that's shite gameplay. It means you're bad. Your team is bad if you have to resort to that. My group always calls out "one or two go take care of that one guy" or "ignore that one guy we have bigger objectives". We only dogpile on OBVIOUS cheaters, like last night when some AD were running around Roe lumbermill taking zero damage, losing zero health even with 20 V16's bombarding them in addition to a meatbag and lightening ballista on them.
What bothers me the most is the lack of manners and respect between opponents in Cyrodiil. Crazy the amount of players who rage whisper you after you killed them. Especially the elite players. I wish there was a way to set you offline for people out of your friendlist only. That would save me alot of bad feelings and stress I get from dealing with all those toxic players who do everything they can to trash talk in hope to get you frustrated and pissed off so they can have a good laugh about it.

During my lunch time I was fighting near Sej 6vs6. A lvl 34 nightblade engaged me and got me near 30% hps. Then we disengaged each other and he whispered me later on saying "How does it feel to nearly die to a lvl 34 as an overlord?". I answered "Battle leveling is not working as intended in my opinion, lower levels are much harder to kill even if they don't have the gear. They get huge stats and sustain and still relatively good damage". He called me bad and asked me to 1v1 right away.
This is the kind of toxic players that I wish I could block right away if they are not in my friend list.

Oh that's hardly even a rant compared to these forums, and hardly negative compared to the tells I've seen .
But seriously it's war, if your on the front lines or at a choke point of a major battle, expect to be zerged, especially if the fight lasts a while. You want to claim someone is bad when a bunch of blood thirsty strangers they have no relation to run you over, you're pointing the finger the wrong way. It's both of you who are bad for not sealing the deal earlier and for positioning yourself in that area. The winner just benefitted more.
As for me, I run small 3 to 5 man around where I know enemies will be (normally the outskirts of zerg pushes). I know the risks, but I laugh every time someone gets upset at a group mate for closing the deal on a fight I started. If we wanted to duel you we would go to an area with no active objective around it.

Most of my 1v1 fights end in no tells at all or nice build discussions. I must be super bad .

I'm not talking about 1v1s. I'm talking about openworld play.

Yes, this is the other side of it. Precisely the reason why I have asked my guildmates to not teabag others.MaximillianDiE wrote: »There are so many more scrub nubs out there now who feel the need to whisper you after you kill them - usually with some sort of excuse or allegation of exploiting. An example is - I finally gave in and went stam on my DK for the first time a couple of nights ago and was playing around on my own testing sheildbreaker and a bow when I killed this AD sorc who proceeds to rage tell me about how I was exploiting and that I was reported. I lol'd and told him to go right ahead.

Well, reroll
Thanks for being serious and honest on this topic, though. Leaps and bounds more adult behaviour than others that have replied here.
But stopping this discussion on one specific issue and go back to a more wider view of things, point in case: we as players have to change.
