Can we get a class change since sorcs are dead next patch?

Yet you still lack the knowledge to understand why people are legitimately upset about the changes.

I ran a 1 shield no harness 56%crit build with very low spelldmg (2100 buffed) because well i could not get more without cutting reg severely.
That build is working well on live and i don´t think many people would argue it´s op. It required a lot more work than the regular shieldstack burst combo sorc.
I´ve tested it on pts and it´s crushed by the surge changes aswell as the requirement to have hardened on main bar now. I needed those slots on mainbar for actual attacks.

My other build was a double resto build with trapping webs - well i could not even test that anymore.

Your standard cookie cutter burst build might still be somewhat vaible (in duels - i don´t think people realize how often 6s shield run out open world). But anyone that had a build slightly deviating from that because they´ve been playing the class for two years straight is in for a harsh reality.

If you don´t understand why the changes coming with the next patch are bad you´re not understanding the class (and it´s limitations) well enough to proclaim yourself no longer a nightblade only. You´re just the fotm copycat sorc twink that´s the reason the class is getting gutted every patch because in the process of nerfing those zos manages to nerf anything not playing that meta even more.
