Racial Dances and Your Thoughts

Almost a full year of playing this game and i just tonight bothered to go through all of the dancing emotes, to see the different styles, and honestly a few were more...sensual, then i imagined. As opposed to many of the other races having uppity and almost interpretive-like styles, the Bosmer and Dunmer in particular are very slow and, 'entrancing'.

Out of the two i personnaly enjoy the Dunmer dance, which is ironic considering how i detest the Dunmer. The dance though. Really makes use of my Khajiit's hips..



What are your views on the dances, and which is your favorite?

The male Redguard dance is the best of course! I laughed way too hard when I first typed /dance on my Redguard - he shouldn't quit his day job to become a dancer is all I'm going to say .

Ok so I was looking for a gif of the male Redguard dance to add to my above post and came across this majestic performance of it by @Icyleaf... my Redguard will never be able to compete with this guy!

Since I can video capture with my Xbox and then get the files over to my PC via onedrive, I want to start making gifs.

This one would like all of her team to be able to do all the dances - male and female. A new dance for each new area we get would be a good thing too! Regional cultural variety and all of that yes?

Khajiit directed a short film a while ago showing off the dance moves and a few of the costumes available at the time.

I would love to see a new set of moves added to each dance. We're overdue for some more variety here! Ahd while funy dances are great I'd like to see some more that are good and not just silly.

For both genders, my fav are /dancedrunk, /danceimperial, /danceredguard (male version) and /dancekhajiit (male version).
Specially for female, my fav is /dancebosmer

Ritualist had Napoleon Dynamite & the other ones were also quite entertaining!

I don't mind the dance in the OP's GIF this is a mature game and while it might be sensual it is in no way sexual so I see no problem with it.

Female dancing is usually sensual in any case...

At least they didn't go corny and add the Traditional Russian dance

ha I blurred out his name, hold to interact is how you active the wheel to invite to trade/group/etc.

We saw the orc dancing so as was customary, my orc had to strip down and join in...my redguard friend wanted to honor the orc ways with his own tribal orc dance.
I was disappointed in my other friend, he was too shy to strip down and join the fun, instead commenting "wtf is wrong with you"
It should be noted that we're confident, heterosexual men and this was one of those dumb fun moments.

I have naked dance parties a lot, if you get females doing Dunmer dance, and males doing Redguard dance, people always stop by and do /sitchair and watch.

Just love that we can dance. All of mine like /dance khajiit best. In fact will stop play & just dance especially when my son hijacks the game by using his Spotify account to try & annoy me with his music but fails as he has quite good taste...

I find the lack of co-op dancing options very anti dance . Not one Waltz with a friend at a Mara ceremony nor a equivalent to the mystical four square hoedown . The Lord of the Dance is not satisfied .

Female Redguard is just terrible. TERRIBLE!! My favorites are Altmer, Orc and Dunmer.

I actually unequipped her shoulders and gauntlets to have her look more fitting for the recording. It's a three piece Ice Furnace set (that I REALLY need to replace btw)

You can see her in her "full" gear over here. Just without her Staff equipped.
