A lot of people aren't realizing that Shields have basically become active defense like Blocking and Dodging now.
its no longer casting shields on the back bar or running around with shields up 24/7 while you do a crap ton of damage.
If you run no impen you're basically going to have to cast shields every 6 seconds otherwise i'm going to jump in on your group and do a crap ton of damage to you. That's not to say you can't run things like Well Fitted and Bone Shield and be super good as a Stamina user..But you're opening yourself to being Ganked.

I don't think the reduction from 20 to 6 seconds is going to change anything in a sorc playstyle. A sorc can burst you down in 6 seconds easily by timing abilities properly. You pretty much have to put it on your main bar..Unless you're going to try swapping every 6 seconds to keep it up..which isn't fun. Its going to be a lot harder to manage then ya think...
