This is still Magic damage even though it is a Stamina skill. That needs fixing ASAP. I will post much more later, but I felt this was a glaring oversight that needed to be mentioned right away.

Incapacitating Strike (Death Stroke morph): This morph now always stuns the target when it is used, regardless of the caster’s health. This morph now also deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage.
I'm happy to see a morph get disease damage, unfortunately it had to be this one. It will be really useful having an ultimate that works with our CP now. I'm going to miss Soul Harvest and its ultimate gen
PvP POV:
-Incapaciting strike scaling and relentless procc scaling with Mighty seems OP for small fights, especially regarding Incapaciting: this already hits like a truck even on a Stamina build, I don't want to imagine when it will always stun with damage increased by 25%. Relentless seems fine tho, as right now the damage is really low for stamina builds.
-Cloak change: Was expectable eventhough it will be missed
-Disappointed to not see any change for Magicka Nightblade except funnel health crit heal nerf
Overall I see no reason to stay magicka: Far less damage especially with Incapaciting strike/weapon skills changes and proximity detonation nerf, and same/less survivability now that stamina has a shield as strong as harness magicka (bone shield) eventhough they already had better heals and dodgeroll for defence. On the other hand seems like Stamina NightBlade will be out of control especially damage wise...

Nightblade
-Assassination
Incapacitating Strike (Death Stroke morph): This morph now always stuns the target when it is used, regardless of the caster’s health. This morph now also deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage. Rather indifferent about this change. Kind of disappointed that Soul Harvest didn't receive this change, but I'm okay with it. Most PvPer's are happy they get 25% more burst out of this skill, and a guaranteed stun. Regardless in PvE, I will never take this morph.
Killer’s Blade (Assassin’s Blade morph): This morph now deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage.
A much needed change. I still fail to see how Nightblades do Disease damage instead of Poison, but whatever. In terms of executes though, would it be possible to add stamina to the Executioner passive instead of just magicka?
Lotus Fan (Teleport Strike morph): Fixed an issue where the damage over time applied by this morph was not being correctly suppressed by invisibility effects such as Shadow Cloak. A welcome change, ironic that the best counter to a nightblade was a nightblade itself due to this bug. Dueling shall be more reliant on catching off-guard rather than cheesing with broken mechanics.
Relentless Focus (Grim Focus morph): This morph’s spectral bow proc has been renamed to “Assassin’s Scourge”, and now deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage. A nice change, but still a bit weak in terms of PvE damage. It's only worth 20% more damage than Surprise Attack compared to caster's 100-200% of their spammable.
-Shadow
Shadow Cloak: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs could be used to completely negate the Meteor ability. RIP the only way to defend yourself from now unreflectable meteors. In terms of overall balance, a very smart choice. Doesn't mean I won't miss cloaking 3 meteors from mad zergs though. Speaking of cloak, can we get a fix for Shadowy Disguise not giving the crit to Snipe and its morphs? Since Snipe has such a slow projectile speed, the attack lands after the 100% crit buff fades. Happens with a few other abilities too, kinda poorly designed.

Yep from my rough calculations, Incapacitating Strike will be ridiculous.
Ambush, fear, Incapacitating strike, suprise attack, killers blade will be a guaranteed kill. Might not even need the surprise attack lol.
My Incapacitating Strike will crit for 40k+ in pve, so with battlespirit that could potentially oneshot people with no impen. Lol

Only disappointing thing that I see is Ambush is unchanged yet Lotus Fan got a fix. The buff to stam means more stamblades spamming Ambush in PvP. Ideally Ambush needs to be brought into line with the other targeted charges and have a minimum cast distance that isn't point blank range.

As other's have said, the fact that we have Power Extraction as a stamina morph, but still dealing Magic damage is kind of disappointing. It'd be nice to have options over Steel Tornado for certain situations instead of simply having a superior skill over the other.
It would also be very nice to see a morph of Cripple get a stamina morph, as all other classes have a stam morph of a DoT in their kit (PotL, Thundering/Hurricane, Unstable Flame + Burning Breath) except Nightblades. Most casters all take Crippling Grasp, so why not just put the other one as stam and give stamina refund on kill instead of magicka? Oh and it should likely deal Physical (in form of a bleed) as getting ensnared by thorns would make you bleed more than give you diseases.
Overall these are very welcome changes to the class, as we have fallen significantly in favor of PvP and PvE roles since the TG nerfs to our kit. There are still a few issues with the class as a whole failing to deliver the Rogue like playstyle, but I won't get into that since this thread asked specifically more about DB changes.

To be honest, i don't know what to feel about changes. I can't say (though i really would love to) that this patch notes are the THING that will bring stamina viability to the point of magicka. I'm maining stamblade, and I've heard many times, how DB will bring balance to the force, or rework of stamina. From one side, all changes from PTS notes to NB are in good direction. From other however, this changes are very minor and cosmetic (while very needed, damage type isn't big change), and too little things were touched.
Buff to Incapacitating Strike is very welcomed and needed.
But to discuss little rest of nightblade kit:
I have two great issues with assassination tree.
Why reapers' mark giving a buff on killing target (major berserk for 6s), when in most cases it's end of combat? It's so short, that most often this buff runs out, before managing to attack second target (especially with bow). Why should I choose this morph, when effect of piercing mark is way much more usable?
Same thing with killers' blade healing. Stamblade needs more heals inside of combat, not at the end of it. Smaller, but with every cast heal will be much better option, than larger one on kill.
Nothing can be done to improve shadow tree for to make it more attractive for stamina?
Maybe stamina based twisted path (path of acid)?
What about siphoning?
Why there are no ranged stamina morphs in siphoning?
Are you happy with power extraction state vs Sap essence?
Why apart from Grim Focus morph there are no skills in class that can deal damage from range, that are viable for stamina players? Not all stamina players are melee, some of them would like to use bow as their primary weapon, and they also should have class skills that are viable to them.

Yes,lotus fan got a fix pertaining to cloak because it was broken. Ambush is not broken. Stop trying to make all skills operate in the same fashion.
I'm not saying it's broken. I'm saying that unlike Shield Charge, Toppling Charge and Crit Rush it can be performed at point blank where as the others can't be. I don't see people spamming those other three but do see Nightblade spamming Ambush even after the lockdown was changed to a slightly snare. It needs a minimum cast distance just like sorc shields and wrecking blow needed to be fixed.
I find your argument flawed: most popular weapon of choice of magicka dps are dual wield (for stat increase).Well part of the reason of this, is that we got 4 weapon skill lines vs the two magicka classes have.
I've yet to see them, and while they can be very good or even must have ones, it does little to add more diversity in stamina. In fact, it would rather be that everyone would be geared in same/similar way.Consedering all the new item sets we are getting, I'm very content with the state of stamina NIghtblade after the patch.
And you clearly state the reason why this skill should be buffed. It occupies same niche as ST, but ST does this job much more better. PE needs some buffs that would make this skill worthy enough to consider taking. Heal? Shield? Maim? Damage increase? There are many ways how this can be done. And people asking for a poison version of Power Extraction, I couldn't care less. Even if they changed it I'd never run it over Steel tornedo, it'll always be lesser dps. It just works as a major brutality buff.
