Why do I have to travel around the world to find a specific item? Especially since you cannot filter searches. A free game like never winter has an auction house #justsaying

Sorry. The only welcomed change is within the interface AND I'm not asking or suggesting a global search.

Some have identified opportunities such as text searches or filters and overal organization opportunities.

That's it on this topic for me....I'm on console but came from PC and PC beta. That's my perspective.

I'm ok with leaving them but also some updates. Keyword search or something to help fine tune searches. Also something similar to searching your own guilds at the bank where the settings/search options do not reset until you zone or something along those lines.

I have no problem with running around the world to find things. I just would like to be able to have the last searched for item saved in some way so I could more efficiently search for it. It is a frustration selecting all the options each time. Or maybe the option to type in an item I want to look for, that would be nice. There is probably an add-on for this - I just don't know what it is.

I think you can always polish the game more. I tried some addons but none really have that feel I want. So I hope they continue to work on the guild store interface.

It's obviously easier for PC users, navigating through the stores on a console is tedious and takes ages with the way they've done it, just feels basic and rushed.

They definitely need to improve the interface for console. On PC we have addons which make it perfectly fine.

And they really can't go for a global auction house because of how the servers work. In most games, there are only 10k or so people per server, so low drop rate items are rare and valuable. But ESO has one server for everyone, which would flood the market with those items debasing then and destroying the whatever economy we have left. As it is now, I can travel around looking for deals that wouldn't exist in a global auction house.

As for vendors selling for real money that is definitely again TOS, and such people would be banned if reported.

I agree with Obliterate! When I am playing I always switch back to the PC interface when going to a merchant. Finding stuff on console is painful I imagine.

I'm fine with the current guild stores. However I imagine it to be annoying without the nice interface you get from the AwesomeGuildStore Addon, so it would be nice to have something similar in the base interface.

This game has a unique trading system among MMORPGS and I honestly wouldn't want to see that change too much in how it functions. The current guild purchased trader system creates interesting opportunities for people to make the economy of the game almost an entire additional playing experience.

With all of that being said, the interface for searching items on guild stores is not great and needs some definite attention. At the very least a keyword input so players could narrow down searches to find specific items would go a long way in appeasing me. In the current setup, on PS4 at least, it can take hours to find reasonable deals or locate specific items. Anyone try to find specific motifs during the great Mercenary flood of 2015? :P

I kinda enjoy searching traders for items, the only change I'd like is if we could have the chance to repeat the last search on a different guild trader.

Console user that came from PC. I support updated UI and added more Guild traders or making a guild trader bazaar. But, don't remove the traders or add a global auction system.

While it's annoying to have to visit tons of places when you are shopping for something rare, we already have a fair number of players who try to manipulate the market by buying up all of an item then jacking up the price. The current system keeps this down to manageable levels, but doesn't prevent them from having fun their own way. Those who wish to play Tamriel market mogul have to work at it, not just farm a central auction house with deep pockets.

But ZOS should just talk to the AwesomeGuildStore developers and make it happen in the base game. The in-game interface is really, really, poor.

The guild trader bidding process is another story.

Nobody wants a "WoW Clone" we're referring to something that actually WORKS, on console this system feels rushed and is literally the bare minimum. It doesn't necessarily have to be an auction house, just something that is more user friendly and actually works.

I like the idea of guild traders but don't like to travel to certain places to find items. I would like to see a set amount a guild must pay to get on an approved auction house and would be seen around the world. This would make it a true one stop show... Which is what I want. I hate going to 5 or 6 different people in the same zone before I buy to see if I can get a better deal and that is just in 1 zone.

The guild traders are one of the best aspects of the game; they let us sell what we don't need, and buy what we do need.

If your complaint is that these traders are a pain on a console, then get a PC and stop telling yourself that you can play games like ESO games on game box. You need an actual computer to play complex games like ESO. Game boxes don't have the horsepower to effectively play games like ESO. This is why I think releasing ESO to game boxes was a big mistake. They did it just for the money and it's created more problems than it's solved IMO. And, it's taken time and focus away on improving the actual game because now they are catering to kids on their squishy game boxes.

This is the biggest load of B.S. that I've read on here in quite a while...

I like the current system, but it needs some changes.

I think the trader NPCs should despawn/respawn in a different/random trader kiosk every day (any of the predetermined trader locations throughout Tamriel).

There should be a central NPC where guild leaders go to hire one of the specific traders from a list. The more gold paid, the better the % chance of your trader spawning in a high traffic location.

This tweak would limit monopoly situations and give more equality of opportunity to trading guilds, while also allowing for more varied selling exposure to all faction areas.

I actually use a mod (Awesome Guild Stores) to improve the UI so I'd only recommend to ZoS that they look into mods like these and understand why they were created. No reason to remove guild traders other than the poor default UI.

A central banking system like what is in WoW or GW2 in less effective too - I actually believe ZoS has the right idea about independent traders, making a much more dynamic in-game economy.
