I had to change the youtube player speed to 0.25 to get a more authentic aussie Tamriel experience.

    She never disconnected.

The lack of communication is irrelevant to me at this point. What difference does it make when a ZOS dev has something to say? It's always just lip service.

There are no easy fixes for Cyrodiil. Implementing popular community idea X won't do it. ZOS needs to commit to this product by allocating resources to it: staff, devs, money, executive oversight.

Exactly. They could implement this change and that but the absolute best fix will be zenimax allocating a lot more resources to Cyrodiil

Am so disappointed in ZOS right now is this where my guildmates Sub's go to.I was debating buying crowns but if this what my money will go to I'll rather save 20 bucks.

They won't do that now because this product lasting long term obviously wasn't the plan at this point as past behavior shows this.

I have come to the conclusion that eso only exists to allow Bethesda time to work on the new IP Howard has been talking about. If this is the case eso has at max another 18 months to two years left they will milk before TES6 and its DLC hits at which point renders ESO obsolete. Remember the game was launched as having 5 years of content planned so late 2017 to early 2018 for TES6 hits around that time frame and everything is pointing to it. ESO was never intended to be a WOW and last forever. It's was meant to be a filler between TES titles as Bethesda can't create two new IP, make FO4, and work on TES6 at the same time, ESO fills that gap. No reason to commit tons of resources to a product going into year 3 of its ordinal 5 year plan makes no sense.

“At five hours the art needs to be good, it needs to feel good when you sit down. Five days is the leveling needs to be good, five months is the end-game needs to be good and the five years is the one you’re talking about. That’s the magic one, the one that’s really ‘community’. You’re going back because you like the people you’re playing with, it’s also the hardest to achieve obviously."-Matt Firor

5 years was the plan all along...5-6 years...ESO was meant to be a filler so Bethesda could work on its new IP and Fallout 4...Bethesda can't work on 3 brand new IP, Fallout 4, and TES6....Hines has confirmed there will be an TES6 it will just be awhile.

During the time Bethesda would have normally been working on TES6 they have been working on their new IP Hines raved they were very excited about. I'd guess and say Bethesda probably just started working on TES6 a few months ago when they normally would have started on it back in 2013..but thats where ESO comes in..it was never meant to be a longterm WOW killer, it was meant to fill a niche and give Bethesda and Zenimax room to breath to further expand in new directions with new IP and games for the future..nothing lasts forever...5-6 years is a LONG TIME for support and such for a Bethesda/Zenimax game....they have never supported any game for that long...thats saying something. The group PVE content on ESO is top notch, if they focus and continue with that, they will probably end up in the green at the end of ESO life. I'd call that a success.

Eventually, the upcoming beta tests are something you have to buy into though. Its the kind of game you will probably want experience with before it releases though because from everything its developers have said to this point it will be much more difficult to play than ESO.

So true and very insightful, but the sad thing is that this game never had to be filler. Had they taken this game the sandbox direction and focused on PvP combat as well as progression PvE raiding, this game could co-exist with any future single player TES releases and new Bethesda IP.

Most of the MMO crowd seeks a different sort of experience from what the Skyrim carebears seek. IMO ZOS could still turn this ship around and build for longevity, but unfortunately the business leadership is garbage - they are short-sighted cash grabbers.

How many more days are we going to go without a single comment from our lead pvp dev or our lead combat dev regarding the broken game they've helped turn this into? I've played through some whammies of broken metas and patches; I remember not being able to see alliance indicators and unable to tell friend from foe. Tonight the entire red alliance went invisible for me for about 15 minutes. I could not see a single red even though I was in the middle of large combat with plenty. No one in TS was surprised, nor was I. ZOS, please just sell the rights to another company, even a rocky transition would be better than the *** work you guys do.

We're not allowed to put developer names in thread titles apparently (because reasons?), so I will refer to Wrobel and Wheeler by my loving acronym, WW2.

It's been almost 3 weeks since the TG patch hit PC. You made massive changes to balance and Cyrodiil, perhaps moreso than any other patch. I have strong opinions regarding your competency, job performance, and the specific changes you introduced in TG, but whether or not I'm correct, where is your communication? What do you think was a success and what do you think was a failure? Of the drunken experiment you tried with balance in this patch, what did not meet expectations and what over exceeded expectations? What are the balance priorities over the next few weeks in incremental patches (I know, try to keep a straight face); what are the balance priorities for DB? Do your opinions on the TG patch seem in line with the (sometimes overwhelmingly in agreement) forum feedback on your most recent work? Of the remaining massive list of bugs, which are likely to be fixed in incremental patches and which need to wait for the massive quarterly patches you're so fond of?

I'll leave this here for you again as well, since it was related to the lack of communication from people that need to be communicating:
    http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/250487/so-many-are-furious-with-the-combat-team-development-whats-the-path-forward

No one is asking you to spend your entire day replying to posts, or any for that matter, but you should be doing a bare minimum of communication (even if it's through Gina) on your own end. The last post from either Wrobel or Wheeler was a post by Wheeler exactly 2 weeks ago on AP. Almost every Z tag on threads is from moderators like Molly telling people to be courteous in their disappointment and disapproval. I may only have black and white tv in my templar house, but I've been monitoring and ww2 hasn't said jack about where they think the game is at now that their balance experiments have had time to play out.

I don't know about you but for me it rings a bell that maybe if people want to get communication from Wheeler, Wrobel or Lambert, they should probably adopt a better attitude at communicating with them and learn some manners. No matter how frustrating the situation may be, it won't get solve by personal attacks and total disrespect.

No matter how frustrating the situation may be, it won't get solve by personal attacks and total disrespect.
....Like when Wrobel equated his job with spreading his seed?

Tried that, for over a year. It went no where. Was super polite, defended them, and then all sources of patience and faith were exhausted. Sorry frozn, but you've been around for far too long to white knight zos like you were some brand new player who hasn't witnessed their bumbling over the past 2 years, broken promises, false hopes, and incompetence.

Please, name a single major mmo where 2 years after launch, in what is supposed to be a game with a heavy pvp focus, all of your enemies can literally disappear during fights. It wasn't just happening to me last night either. There is NO defending them for that. There's a reason no one is coddling them on the forums, it's because they don't deserve it.

DB should be out in 2 months if the normal timelines hold. This means that there should be a build up on PTS in a month from now. This means that the PTS build is close to being finished.

Why? Why do we still have absolutely no idea what the balance direction is for the next patch, why are the majority of the bugs in the ongoing thread still unacknowledged much less fixed, why haven't ww2 weighed in on the clustereff that they turned pvp into (it's not just performance, it's the meta that they made that's problematic), why is Wrobel still employed?

I hope you're both lactose and gluten intolerant as you chow down on your cake ZOS, the rest of us realize what a neglectful job you do at managing the game.

beginning to suspect you are either Wheeler or Wrobel in disguise...makes sense seeing as Wrobel took forever and a day to make an account; no need to since he already has one named Frozywozy? I smell conspiracy.
